《Twice Bitten ✔》Chapter 21

When we arrived at our destination I was utterly speechless; it was a meadow. The meadow was only a couple of yards from the house and was hard to miss, but what shocked me was the fact that it was the exact same meadow I had dreamt of for the past year, the one where the wolf watches over me.
The meadow was absolutely breathtaking. Everything about it was calm and peaceful. It had long grass seeded with wildflowers and many more flowers I couldn't even attempt to name. I was in awe when a group of butterflies floated by us. Dylan chuckled, I guess my amazement amused him, but I couldn't help it. Dylan pulled a blanket out of his trunk and held his arms out to me. I sat down in his arms and sighed contently. I could faintly hear water trickling over stones and roots from a nearby lake and birds trilling in the distance. When a breeze brushed by us, I could smell the sweet scent of flowers and berries.
"Do you like it?" Dylan asked.
"Yes.'' I breathed out still taking it all in.
It was honestly about the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. I voiced my thoughts.
"Yeah, when I was younger, my parents would bring my siblings and me down here."
"That must of been fun growing up," I said twirling a piece of grass between my fingers.
Dylan nodded, seeming deep in thought. The meadow looked even more beautiful under the moons' luminous glow. Somehow I ended up laying on Dylan's chest, and I was so lost in Dylan's childhood stories that I was startled when he stopped speaking abruptly.
"What?" I whispered. "Why'd you stop?"
"Because you're distracting me," he said, grabbing my hand, that I now realize had been drawing circles into his chest.

I instantly felt myself blushing. Dylan lifted me onto him and me at his waist, and I couldn't help but shiver under his touch.
"I should probably get you home. I don't want you to get in trouble or anything." Dylan whispered
I smiled. "You could take me home, or you could kiss me."
Dylan breathed out a laugh before leaning up to kiss me. I wrapped my arms around him and nipped at his bottom lip. A shot of pleasure ran through me as he moaned beneath me. I trailed kisses down his neck and nearly whimpered when he pulled me away from him.
I pouted and Dylan chuckled.
"Your parents' first impression of me is not going to be of me dropping you off late."
I sighed. "Fine. I'll behave."
As we walked down the trail that I'm assuming led to the car, I grasped Dylan's hand hoping I wouldn't fall on my ass. How attractive would that be? Dylan looked down at me with a smirk on his face, and I gasped. Dylan frowned confused.
"Your eyes, they're beautiful," I said.
His eyes seemed to glow, which made them about ten times as mesmerizing than what they usually are. Dylan smiled and kissed me on my forehead before we continued walking to the car. When we arrived at my house, I pecked Dylan on the cheek and opened my door, just as I was getting out of the car he grabbed my hand
"I'll see you on Monday at 7:00," he said.
"School doesn't start till' 8:00, Dylan."
"I know I'm picking you up."
"Oh no, you don't have to do that," I said
"I know I don't have to, but I want to," he said, squeezing my hand.
"Besides you left your car at my house, remember."
"Shit, I forgot all about that."
Dylan laughed. "Don't worry; I'll get Sage to drive it to the school."
I thanked Dylan once more and headed inside. I guess I should tell Leila that she might not have a ride tomorrow.
