with tears in her eyes, "He will hurt everyone".
"I think it's high time we have closure with your past. You cannot always run away, Gul". He said softly, "Running away seems easier than fighting but it doesn't last long. The pain stays even more longer within you then why not fight back?".
"Everything will be ok?". She asked wiping her tears away
He nodded, "Just trust me".
She nodded walking back to her room deciding that for once she will listen to her own heart.
She was living her normal life or at least she thinks it was normal. Because after that night he asked her to continue her work with few guards assigned to her and she thought that her father must have left her alone after all.
But, she was wrong.
"Do you want to eat something?". He asked her
She looks away from the window to him and for some reason, his mother went home early and he came to pick her because his mother doesn't trust anyone else with her.
"I don't feel good". She said because her heart had been weird for some reason today
"Wh-". He started when he hit the emergency brake of his car
She feels her whole body going forward but she was wearing a belt that saves her. However, the feeling of safety doesn't stay that long when she finds the one who is after her life for too long.
"Baba". She said before she fainted
The next time she opens her eyes she finds herself back at her house. She looks at her room where she stayed her whole life and the memories of her mother kind face appearing in front of her eyes.
"You scared me". She heard his voice
She turns back to find him chained in the other corner of the room and her eyes widen finding that his face was covered in blood and wounds.
Her eyes brimmed with tears, "See, they hurt you".
He smiles softly, "Just trust me".
Her lips wobble when the door opens and someone else was thrown in as well. She turns to find her older brother (Hussain) and dragging Sufiyaan with him pushing him to the corner and his hands in rope.
"I cannot believe you have the audacity to run away from your own wedding for another man". Hussain said
"I never agreed to this marriage". She said angrily and she wasn't sure where the anger came from but knowing he must have hand in hitting Waazi doesn't sit well with her
While Waazi looks at her proudly smirking at her brother taken back face obviously she has never said a word much less being angry at them.
"You don't know what's best for you". Her brother argued
"Really?. And marrying to that drunk man was the best thing?. I wonder if you will think the same thing if it was your daughter in my place". She said narrowing her eyes at him
"Do you know how much humiliation we faced?". Her brother asked obviously losing this argument already
"It must have been great owner to sell your sister off to a drunk man then". She said sighing, "I never thought you will fall this low that you will not even let me live the rest of my life in some peace. What have I ever done to you?".
"What do you mean sell?". Her brother asked confused
She chuckles, "Don't act like you don't know. I saw Baba taking that cheque from him (her cousin she was going to marry) that night before you were going to come to me. I heard them talking and saying that they will never speak of this again".

Her brother's eyes widen as she speaks again, "I don't have that much courage to run away without thinking of your honour. I was ready to sacrifice everything but the moment I saw him selling me off that broke me and I had to run away".
Her brother didn't say anything leaving right after that moment. She realises that even she was roped to one side of her bed and it was tight enough to pierce her skin. She can feel the itchiness from the little movement but she didn't say anything.
"Don't move too much it will hurt you". Waazi said smiling at her frowning face because he did figure her out
It was hard.
"Once you are in love with a woman the world and people around you, will not matter. Your heart will follow them and know about them better than themselves. You will know their every action and what that means. The moment you find the love you can die for- don't stop from perusing it, son".
He knows his feelings he was not someone who denies and wander around to not accept them. He had accepted them long back maybe when she stood for her mother or perhaps even before.
However, what stops him was that he wanted her to overcome her pain and fears. He remembers the day after meeting Sufiyaan she had thrown away her bridal dress that she came to him in with so much anger in her eyes that it scared him. But he wasn't the one to give up on his love because of his fear so he decided something.
Confrontation.
"You are not married to him". She heard Sufiyaan voice which made her sigh, "This is all because of me".
"What?". She asked not even looking at him instead of looking at her mother and her picture on the table
"I told your family about you". Sufiyaan confessed and her eyes widen as she looks at him, "I was scared you will ruin my life and I didn't want you to do that so I told your family".
She moves to slap him just once now but as she takes steps the rope dig into her skin which didn't stop her but the rope was short so she didn't reach him.
"Gul, please stop it. You are hurting yourself". Waazi pleaded watching her wrist which were turning red
She turns to Waazi and his injured face only fume her anger more, "I would have never stooped that low, that is not me. I have standards better than you and I am no home wrecker. If I was I would have told her the moment I saw you. Or maybe when I saw you getting married that night".
She really wanted to slap him not for herself for Waazi.
"You were at our wedding?". Sufiyaan asked guiltily
"Don't look at me like that". She said angrily walking back to her original place
"I never loved you". Sufiyaan said
She turns her face away from him,"Don't speak to me".
"No, you should know. I never loved you- you were my pass time because I had no one and you were just too innocent to pursue. I asked your friend to introduce you to me and the moment I met my current wife I knew my feeling for you were never real". Sufiyaan explained,"Maybe that's why I was scared of you taking her away from me. I am scared that every girl I hurt in my past will haunt me in my future".

"You were just a rebound to me". She said not even hurt by his words,"I never recieved my father or brothers love so I was just trying to get that from you. It was nothing".
Her eyes turn to Waazi as they again brimmed in tears watching his bruised face, "They hurt you because of me".
He chuckles, "It's nothing".
"It is". She said stubbornly because if it hurts he should say so
He just shakes his head smiling at her angry face and it was more of concerned towards him which blooms his heart in newly found hope.
She heard the door opening and her father walked in and the minute she find his angry eyes she knows what was next.
He hit her hard.
"Don't touch her". Waazi said angrily moving forward only for his chain to dig into his skin making him bleed but that didn't stop him for reaching to her to protect her
"He is the reason, right?". Her father asked moving towards him kicking him
"No-No. Please hurt me or kill me please please don't hurt him". She pleaded as tears flow down her face watching him grunting in pain as her father continued to hit him, "Please he is not-".
"Gul". Waazi said stopping her words
The moment her eyes crashes with his her lips sealed as she cries harder watching him being beaten. Her father moves to Sufiyaan hitting him but her eyes remain on him as she blinks trying to clear her vision. She didn't once look at Sufiyaan or his painful cries neither she feels the need to protect him.
But, she wanted to protect Waazi.
Why?.
Her father left them but she remains weeping in pain- this time it wasn't a pain of betrayal buy for the first time she cried because of her helplessness. She wanted to take him away from this place which had only caused her pain. She wanted to share or borrow his pain by any means possible. She didn't want him to bleed like he was right now. She wanted him safe and sound.
That is true love.
No one spoke after that.
She had her arms wrapped around herself when she felt a movement around her and she turns to find Sufiyaan almost near her. She looks at his rope to find it was bigger than anyone them.
"Stay away from her". Waazi said roaring in pure fury
Sufiyaan smirks at him and leans closer to her while she moves back disgusted from him.
"You are in love with him". Sufiyaan whispers to her
That stops her movements.
"You were never in love with me. But look at the way you look at him and the way your heart screams in his pain". Sufiyaan whispers,"That is love, Gul".
Sufiyaan moves back to his place leaving her stunned. She turns to look at Waazi angry but concerned eyes looking at her and the desperation to reach her.
She was in love with him.
She cannot lose him even if she has to beg every single person for his life. She is never going to lose him now. She cannot believe that she never understands her own feelings.
"Tell me if he said something wrong I will kill him". He said angrily glaring at Sufiyaan who simply smirks fuming his anger
"He didn't". She said softly watching his anger calming down immediately when his eyes meet her and he smiles
"Good or it will be his last day". He warned
She smiles nodding.
Her one smile in this all distress was enough for him to gain more courage. Her smiles are always something so special for him because when she smiles her eyes shine with them and her small dimple that she doesn't seem to know about appears making her look more radiant.
Something his heart loves very much.
They heard the commotion outside and the door open again and she finds Hussain standing there looking at them.
"Bhai, please". She begged, "This is not right. What will you get even after you kill us?. What will you say to your Lord?. Please, I never asked anything from you-". She said and Hussain takes steps near her sitting beside her making her scared
Hussain raises his hand and that moment Waazi didn't hold himself back as he fights against the chain, "Don't even think about touching her".
But she finds Hussain eyes softening as he places his hand on her cheek, "I would have never sold you. I had no idea about Baba's doing. He convinced us that you can change that drunken and since we never had a connection we didn't truly say our views".
She looks at him with tears in her eyes as he continues to speak, "I am sorry for the pain and never protecting you. I didn't realise it until I thought of my own daughter and everything I have done to you I would have never wanted that for her. Please, forgive me".
She leaps forward wrapping her hands around him, "I forgive you, Bhai".
Hussain smiles wrapping his arms around him with his heart still heavy with guilt.
"We need to leave right now". Hussain said moving back opening each of their chain and ropes
The minute Waazi was out of his chain he walks towards her to examine if she had any serious injury but his heart calms down a little when he found none.
"What's the plan?". Sufiyaan asked
"Hold on". Hussain said punching Sufiyaan making her eyes widen, "That's for informing us about her whereabouts".
She couldn't help but giggle at her brother actions because she did wish for this kind of brothers and she finally has one.
Hussain smiles holding her hand asking others to follow them. They made it from the back door to the exit of the community but they stop when someone shoots on Hussain.
Hussain instantly falls down bleeding heavily from his stomach and she finds her father with her 3 brothers glaring at them.
Her brothers did look shocked at her father shooting at their older brother though.
"You are a traitor who deserves to die just like this bitch who we fed only for her to run away". Her father said angrily, "I will kill everyone she loves one by one".
Then he shoots down Sufiyaan while she hides behind Waazi's scared.
"Please, don't do this". She begged when her father points to Waazi, "Please".
But then her father shoots but she pushes Waazi at the last moment and the bullet pierces through her heart.
Hate and honour are very scary. Having both is deadly.
The last words she heard from a very painful cry of his was,
"Don't leave me".

Binary of Life and Death
Monsters, gold, chaos, glory, adventure, what more could attract two of the greatest players of all time to Sugarea, the most popular MMORPG of its time. But everyone makes errors, and unfortunate for these two brilliant players, they have made the grave mistake of not actually sleeping like normal humans and missed out on the very moment the new Dark Legion update would take effect. Or did they? They wake in what seems familiar yet not, but they soon realize their predicament. They are inside their game avatar's bodies! A half-Demon and a Dragonoid are now struggling with more than just power, these two men have to find their new purpose and calling in a completely different world. Will they concur it like ordinary land or will they enlighten the planet into equality? Do figures pull strings in the dark or is everything open to the public eye? Nothing is certain except the unknown, and nothing is ever as it seems... This is an Isekai story, as such, some parts may sound either cliché or similar to others, but I assure you, I tried to prevent that. To make it known, I took quite a lot of inspiration from the light novel/anime Overlord, but that doesn't mean it's a direct rip-off of it. You'll find there to be quite the amount of differences. Just a little heads up as well, you should expect irregular uploads, as it takes me a long time to write each chapter. I am currently trying for once every other week on Sundays around 10:00 A.M. Chapters are usually 7k words and up, with the longest (chapter 3) being 10.3k words. So, if you like to sit down and read a long chapter every two weeks at 10:00 A.M. EST on Sundays, then you can waste your time here! Small disclaimer: Profanity is far and few between, and mostly used by side characters, rarely the main character. When something with gore happens, I describe to the best of my ability, which will only get better the longer I write this... :) Small cuts between perspectives happen, and can hide what some characters do, which will be revealed in future chapters, I'm not that lazy... all the time... There are some parts that are long blocks of text, most, if not all, of them, are characters talking, but I try not to info dump. I know one of the tags says "Psychological", and for the most part, it is, but it's not as prominent as other stories, instead, it's more hidden and scattered, but I did try to make the pieces I did reveal all fit together. Cover art is bound to be changed when I have a good picture to use, so the Yin-Yang is a placeholder for now unless yall wanna gimme something to use *wink wink nudge nudge*. So yeah, please give it a try, as I have nothing better to do with my life, and I am banking solely off of a career in literature and am hoping that I can create a story that can actually be called something more than a child's imagination running wild. The eventual and inevitable end to the story won't be for a long while, at least till chapter 40 or so. I have thought long and hard about the message and themes at play, so I hope you, the reader (who has some amazing hair btw), can enjoy and partake on this adventure with me into my dark empty pit of an imagination.
