Y/N activated the West area bridge as he used the level 3 chip he obtained. He also disconnected the East area bridge so Mr. X or Chris couldn't follow him. Though he doubts that it'll stop them.

Y/N: "Finally, now I can get the G sample and leave."

He entered the door into the West area and stumbled across another dead Umbrella soldier. Y/N found a tape on him. It was about the unit obtaining the G-Virus. He picked up the tape and entered another lab. There was no power in the room but Y/N found a power breaker and used the signal modulator to turn the power on in the room. Y/N found another chest and TV with a VCR next to it.

Y/N: "Might as well watch the tape."

He insert the tape and started to watch the video play.

Umbrella soldiers from above were watching Birkin getting the virus samples and setting them in the case next to him.

USS Soldier: "Got eyes on the G-Virus."

Hunk: "We're going in."

The Umbrella squad enters through the door as well as the soldier from the vent surround William Birkin with their guns aimed at him. Birkin held on the case tightly.

Hunk: "Doctor Birkin, you'll come along with us quietly."

Birkin: "You think I didn't know you were coming? This is my life's work! I'm not handing over anything!"

Hunk: "We have our orders, Doctor Birkin. I'll ask you one more time."

Birkin was about to aim his pistol at one of them but one of the soldier's fired at him rapidly in response.

Hunk: "Stop! Hold your fire!"

Birkin was on the floor filled with blood and bullets. One of the soldiers check for a pulse only to find out there was none. Hunk turned to the soldier who fired.

Hunk: "What the fuck were you thinking?! Our orders were to bring him in alive!"

He contacted the Umbrella command and gave them the report of their mission.

Hunk: "We're in, sir, but we had a snafu. Target resisted, we had to take him out."

He listen in on the response.

Hunk: "That's correct, sir."

He waited for new orders to be given to him.

Hunk: "Roger that. Just the samples then."

One of the soldier's pick up the case Birkin had.

Hunk: "Let's move."

The squad begins to leave the room, leaving Birkin's body here. Unknown to them, he was still alive and would soon go after them. The video ends after they begin to leave.

Y/N: "They really should have checked his body for any more virus samples. Same with the room."

He opened the chest next to him and took the remaining ammo and first aid sprays he had. He also took the Magnum with him.

Y/N: "This is it. I'm approaching to the end."

After he was done, Y/N went to the next room and passed through a decontamination room. He got sprayed on the way.

Y/N: "And, now I'm wet. At least I'll get some sewage off me."

A moment later, he passed through the fans as he got dry.

Y/N: "Now I'm dry again. Good."

The next room he entered was the bioreactors room. Y/N looked around as he crossed the bridge.

Y/N: "When I first saw this room, I just knew that it was a boss arena. And that will be coming up soon."

He entered the final room, which was the room he saw in the video. Y/N looked at his left and saw the where the G-Virus sample was and the blood stains below it. He saw that the container was opened and Sherry's locket was placed in. He picked up the G-Virus sample.

Y/N: "Good thing Claire got here first. I wouldn't be able to get this if it was locked. Alright, time to get out of here."

Computer:

Y/N: "And that's my cue to speed up."

He ran back to bioreactors room and was heading to the other door. When Y/N was about to reach the door, the ceiling behind him crashed through as Birkin dropped and landed on the bridge. Y/N turned around and had his magnum aimed at it.

Y/N: "Yeah, I had a feeling you would show up. Okay then, round 3!"

Behind him, the door opened as Annette was entering the room and passed Y/N with a anti virus gun.

Annette: "Move. He's mine."

She aimed the gun at Birkin.

Annette: "This has to end."

She fired a round at it as Birkin screamed in pain.

Y/N: "That won't be enough to kill it."

Annette ignored him as she got closer to Birkin.

Annette: "Sorry, William. You left me no choice."

She fired another round at it. Birkin wasn't able to take any more of the pain as it passed out for now.

Y/N walked up next to her as he kept his magnum aimed at Birkin.

Y/N: "This thing was William Birkin. Wasn't it?"

Annette: "It is. But it shouldn't have been like this. It's Umbrella's fault. This whole mess."

Y/N: "But you're with Umbrella too. Didn't you and him created this virus?"

Annette: "Yes. But we never meant for this to happen!"

Y/N: "Tell me everything from the start then."

He knew the full story but he still had to hear it from Annette. She started to explain about the incident.

Birkin had a syringe in his hand and was about to use it.

Birkin: "You won't get away that easily."

He injected himself with the syringe then threw it away. He was already feeling the virus starting to change him as he was in pain. Annette walked in the room and saw Birkin wounded and the syringe.

Annette: "Oh god, William. What have you done?"

Birkin was slowly getting back on his feet.

Birkin: "G IS MY CREATION!"

The virus was about to mutate him soon as Birkin was leaving the room and going after the Umbrella soldiers. Annette saw a pistol on the floor. She picked it up and aimed it Birkin.

Annette: "William!"

He ignored her as he continued walking out of the room. Annette lowered the pistol as she couldn't pull the trigger.

Annette: "I could have shoot him and ended it before it happened. But for some reason...I just couldn't do it."

Y/N: "He was your husband, wasn't he?"

Annette: "We were more married to our work than each other."

Y/N: "But you had a daughter. Was your research more important than her?"

Annette: "I may not be the best mother but- Wait, how did you know about my daughter?"

Before Y/N could answer, Birkin woke up and grabbed Annette. It crushed her then threw her at the wall near the doors.

Y/N: "Annette!"

He turned to Birkin as It was starting to change again.

Y/N: "Great, he's stronger now."

Birkin attempted to slash him as Y/N dodge out of the way.

Y/N: "Oh crap!"

He moved out of the way again as Birkin stabbed the platform. Annette went to the controls and lowered the bridge with Y/N and Birkin on it.

Y/N: "What are you doing?"

Annette: "We can't let him get away!"

Y/N: "Great idea! Trap me along with the big monster!" He said sarcastically.

Annette: "It's the only option!"

He jumped off the platform and land on the solid floor. Y/N stood back away from Birkin as it slashed the handrails out of the way.

Y/N: "I knew this would unavoidable. I might as well get this over with. Let's do it!"

He pulled out his shotgun and had it aimed at Birkin. He first aimed at the eye on it's shoulder and fired. He was able to destroy the eye with two shots. As Birkin got close enough it tried slash him again. Y/N had to avoid it by getting out of the way.

He ran to the center and threw a grenade at it. It soon exploded and managed to stun him for a moment. Y/N used this opportunity to shoot the eye on the leg.

Y/N: "Alright, one more eye. Why does it have to be on it's back."

Birkin was about to use it's claws to slash him again. Y/N barely dodged it as he tried to get behind him. He got slightly injured in the process but got a chance to get behind him and used his shotgun to destroy the back eye.

Birkin was in pain as he got on his knees and had the eyes on it's chest exposed.

Y/N: "Now's my chance."

He pulled out his magnum and got in front of him. Y/N fired magnum bullets at it's chest. Birkin was getting back up and it's chest eye closed up. Birkin roared as it was about to attack Y/N again.

Y/N: "You just don't die!"

Birkin jumped up and tried to land on Y/N but he ran straight and avoided Birkin. Y/N took this chance and shot Birkin's eye on the back with his magnum. It destroyed and Birkin roared in pain. Birkin went to a large canister and picked it up.

Y/N: "Not good."

He turned to Y/N and was about to throw it at him. Y/N jumped out of the way and avoided the blast. Fire soon spread around the area where it was thrown. Birkin kept trying to use it's claws to hit him as Y/N kept his distance. He was getting caught in a corner as steps back. When he reached the corner, he fired his shotgun at one of the eyes and destroyed it.

It roared in pain as Y/N run past him and used his last grenade at him. Birkin turned around and was about to go after Y/N but the grenade exploded and managed to destroy the eye on it's leg. Once again Birkin was on it's knees and his eyes on his chest exposed.

Y/N got closer and fired the remaining bullets he had on his magnum. Luckily, he was able to do enough damage for Birkin to groan in pain and finally collapse on the ground as the eyes on chest exploded. Y/N held on his injures in pain as he sighed in relief.

Y/N: "Finally. Too bad he's not dead yet."

Computer:

Y/N: "Yeah, thank you for give me the notice." He said sarcastically.

He got out his first aid spray and used it on his injuries. His wounds soon disappeared and he was recovered.

Y/N: "Good as new. Now to get out of here."

He saw lift that would take him up. He got in it and got back on the doors where Annette was who had her hand on her wounds.

Y/N: "Are you okay? Damn, this looks bad."

Annette: "Feels worse, believe me."

Y/N: "I can help you get out of here. It shouldn't be that far from the exit-"

Annette: "No. I'm already as good as dead." She breathed heavily.

Y/N: "About what I said, I didn't mean to-"

Annette: "Just tell me you'll destroy that G sample."

Y/N: "I would but... I need it as evidence to expose to Umbrella."

Annette: "Do you trust that bitch?"

Y/N: "You mean, Ada?"

Annette: "She's not FBI, she's a mercenary. She's gonna sell it. The G virus to the highest bidder."

Y/N: "I know. But I won't let her get this. I promise you."

She had trouble breathing from the wounds.

Annette: "I hope you right... But if the G Virus falls in the wrong hands..."

Y/N: "That won't happen. Can I ask you something before I leave?"

Annette: "What?"

Y/N: "You met a girl named Claire, right?"

Annette: "Yes."

Y/N: "And you gave Sherry the vaccine."

Annette: "I don't know how you know about all this. But yes."

Y/N: "Do you have multiple lives or something?"

Annette: "What?! Why would you say that?"

Y/N: "It's just... I could have recall that you died right after you gave Claire that level 4 chip."

Annette: "Yes, but I didn't really-"

Y/N: "And didn't Claire also fight G at this same room here and you got injured?"

Annette: "Why is this so important to you?!" She asked, irritated.

Y/N: "Because I'm never going to find out the mystery behind that and I want to find out."

Annette: "Look, I didn't die. I just passed out on blood loss for a minute and found William in here again. Does that answer your ridiculous question?!"

Y/N: "I mean... I guess. But that still doesn't really answer how you survived all those injuries."

Annette already passed out from her wounds.

Y/N: "Annette? Damn it. She passed out. Alright, need to leave."

He runs through the decontamination room and passed through the labs.

Computer:

Y/N: "Right where I'm going."

He made it back to the main shaft and saw Ada limping to the console and hacking the Level 4 lock on the elevator. She saw Y/N coming out of the West area door.

Y/N: "Ada."

Ada: "Good, you made it. I was getting worried."

She was limping to the west bridge and towards Y/N.

Y/N: "I was too. But I think it's time I tell you something."

Ada: "Can it wait? We have to leave. Please tell me you got it."

Y/N: "I do."

Ada: "let me verify the G sample and then we'll get the hell out of here."

Y/N: "Sorry, but I can't do that."

Ada: "We don't have to argue. I need to make sure you-"

Y/N: "Ada, I know you're not FBI and I know you came to steal the G-Virus."

Ada was silent for a moment then sighed.

Ada: "Oh Y/N... Why couldn't you just hand over the sample?"

She pulled out her pistol and aimed it at Y/N.

Y/N: "Because I knew from the start you weren't who you said you are."

He got his pistol out and did the same.

Ada: "I had a feeling you were hiding something from me."

Y/N: "There's a long story behind it but that'll take too long to explain right now."

Ada: "I really didn't want it to come to this, Y/N."

Y/N: "Tell me, were we really partners or were you only using me this whole time? I'd like to believe that we were partners but-"

Ada: "Look, I'm just doing my job."

Y/N: "You don't have to do this. Forget about the G-Virus and we'll walk out of this together."

Ada: "I can't do that. Now hand over the sample, Y/N."

Y/N: "I'm not giving you the sample, Ada."

Ada: "Don't make me shoot you."

Part of the bridge behind Y/N fell apart as the facility was falling apart. Running out of time, Y/N had to make a gamble on his life like Leon did. He lowered his pistol.

Y/N: "If you want it, you'll have to shoot me for it."

Ada was hesitating to pull the trigger as Y/N stood there waiting for her. She sighed and lowered her pistol.

Ada: "I can't do it."

Y/N: "You couldn't shoot me either. Just like Leon." He muttered as he couldn't help but smile at the thought. He wonders if she had the same feelings for him as she did with Leon.

Ada was about to respond until...

*Bang*

She was suddenly shot in the shoulder. Ada held on her wounded shoulder as Y/N turned around and saw Annette with her pistol.

Y/N: "(I knew it! She does have multiple lives!)"

More of the bridge was falling apart as Ada was falling off it. Y/N managed to catch her on time.

Y/N: "Ada, hold on!"

Y/N accidently dropped the G sample and it fell into the abyss.

Y/N: "(There goes the G-Virus. Oh, well, better to be destroyed anyway.)"

Annette: "Now, no one gets that sample."

She collapsed on the floor and finally died of the blood loss. Y/N had a hard time trying to hold Ada.

Ada: "Y/N."

Y/N: "Hang in there! I can still pull you up.

More of the bridge was falling as the bridge around Y/N won't last much longer.

Y/N: "Dammit!"

Ada: "It's no good. Save yourself."

Y/N: "Don't do this to me. I'm not letting go."

Ada: "It's not worth it."

Y/N: "Ada."

Her hand was starting to slip from Y/N's. She looked down then looked at Y/N.

Ada: "Take care of yourself, Y/N."

Her hand slipped out of Y/N's grip and she fell into the abyss.

Y/N: "ADA!!!!!"

He had his head down as he lay there, failing to save her. Y/N had to get up and get off the bridge and head by the elevator. The bridge was soon completely destroyed as Y/N looked down in the abyss in silence.

Y/N: "I can't save anyone. Now she's gone too."

Tears were starting to come out his eyes until he realized something.

Y/N: "Wait a minute. I know she survived that fall. She's in the other games. Why am I thinking she died."

Computer:

Y/N: "Right, I need to focus on getting out of here. See you later, Ada. Maybe we'll meet again sometime."

He heads to the elevator and takes it to go down as he starts to escape from the facility.
