《In Love with A Criminal》Lost Pet

Scourge's POV
"Hm~" I groaned as I struggled to wake. I tried to hold Shadow closer, but I couldn't get a tight grip on him. I felt around the bed for him.
He wasn't there. I sat up. I looked around the house, he wasn't there. Could he have escaped? If he did, I lost the love of my life. My head hurt like hell. Then I remembered...
I had left him in the car. I walked in the bar to find Hazen and Steel. Hazen and I took some shots. Steel just sat there. Hazen went over to sit by Steel, and I went over to watch the comedian. After several minutes of that, I went over to Hazen and Steel. Steel had someone in his lap. That someone was a male... He told me his name... What was his name? What was his name?!
Then it hit me...
Shadow.
Narrator's POV
The black pet awoke next to a peacefully sleeping Steel. He got up from the bed and went in the bathroom to clean up. Steel began to stir in the bed.
Ebony was trying his best to be quiet. His extremely light feet would not disturb the creaking floor, but the chain would drag. Just when he had made it to the door, Steel sat up all if a sudden.
The black pet stood there motionless as Steel stared at him. He gave the Ebony a soft smile. "What are doing up so early?"
Ebony had two choices:
1. Make a run for it
2. Stay and tell him to find Scourge
"What's wrong?" Steel asked seeing the nervous expression on the Ebony's face. Ebony quickly opened the door and ran out of the room. "Wait!" Albino jumped out of the bed and hurried to catch up with the pet.
Surprisingly, the Ebony was fast on all four limbs. He ran into a wooded area. Steel called his name, but Ebony refused to listen.
What Ebony didn't know was that in this wooded area, there was a certain blue hedgehog taking an afternoon run.

Scourge's POV
I called Steel. He said he had him, but something had happened. I got out of my car to find Steel standing on the parking lot of the bar.
"What do you mean he ran away?!" I growled angrily.
"I couldn't stop him. He ran pretty fast on all four limbs. I tried calling him back, but he refused to listen." I pulled his ear. "Ow..."
"What direction did he run?"
"That way. Into the woods." He pointed at a wooded area. I let go of his ear.
"You better be right." I started walking to the car.
"You know, that boy of yours sure has an unusual kink." My ears twitched.
"You mean...you had sex with him?!" I yelled angrily. He was rubbing his ear.
"Well, not exactly. I just pleasured him." I pinched his ear again.
"H-Hey! In my defense, I didn't know he was yours." He groaned.
"So what? You can't just do that to a person that you're a total stranger to, idiot..." I let go of his ear and walked away.
"Sorry?" He said. I got in the car and drove away.
Narrator's POV
The black pet kept running through bushes and low tress, not caring if they hit him in the face or scratched him. He was panting, but didn't care if he was tired. He looked back watching for anyone who followed him, when suddenly he bumped into something.
"Ug!" He bounced back. He found himself on the ground. He looked at a blue hedgehog in front of him who had landed on his butt and was rubbing his head.
"Ow..." He groaned. The blue hedgehog didn't quite get the chance to see who he had run into. "I'm so sorry! I didn't mean t-" He blinked once or twice, making sure he wasn't imagining things. "Shadow?" He asked.
The black pet looked at him. How did this stranger know him? It had been at least three years since the black hedgehog had gone missing. Everyone assumed it had been the end of the ultimate life form.

"Is it really you?" Asked the blue hero. The Ebony didn't know what to say. He just nodded. "It can't be!" The blue hero wrapped his arms around the black hedgehog and hugged him. Tears of joy teased the cobalt hedgehog's eyes. "I... I thought I'd never see you again." Cobalt sniffed. "We have to tell everyone! We have to tell G.U.N! Also Rouge! She's been missing you a lot. I missed our races, I even missed your attitude." The hero mumbled that last part. Cobalt smiled down at the Ebony and stretched a hand out for him to take. "Come on."
Ebony hesitated but took the hero's hand. He was helped up. "How about we have a race?" Cobalt smirked. Ebony shook his head. "Okay? Should we just walk?" Ebony agreed.
After having a great walk in the woods. They arrived at the city limit of Möbius.
"Yeah, it was awesome-" The cobalt hedgehog looked back the Ebony who had stopped at the edge of the woods. The blue hero was already on one of the sidewalks. "What's wrong?" The Ebony shook his head. "Come on, nothing's gonna happen."
The hero tried to drag the Ebony out of the woods, but Ebony pulled back.
"Why?"
"I'm not allowed..." The pet told the Cobalt.
"I'll take you home with me." Before the Ebony could talk, Cobalt had already picked him up and taken him home. "Here we are." He out the Ebony down. "Let me take this off." He reached for the inhibitor ring around the black hedgehog's neck, but two hands interrupted him.
"No..."
"Why? I don't feel any chaos energy in your body."
"He doesn't allow me to take it off."
"Who?"
"Him..." Cobalt was confused and didn't quite know who him was.
"Hey Sonic, you'll never guess who I saw." Tails walked through the door.
"You will not believe who I found." The Ebony was hiding behind the blue hero.
"I'm sure my is better-" The blue hero took the Ebony from behind him. "Yeah, yours is better..." The small kit took a moment to process this. "Whoa! Wow! How can-what?"
"Tails breathe."
"I know. I just can't believe it! How can this be? He was dead!"
"Apparently there's more to the ultimate life form than we thought." The hero smirked.
"Shadow, what happened? How come your still alive? It's been three years since you went missing."
"Hey Tails, he's a bit tired, and so am I. Maybe we should go to bed. Maybe you should too, it sounds like you've had a busy day." The Cobalt hedgehog took the Ebony to his room.
Scourge's POV
I looked all over those woods, no sign of Shadow. I did find some of his footprints, but also found some of that blue rat's footprints. He must of taken him to Möbius. I can't be seen there, I'd be inprisoned again, but for life.
If he thinks he's smart enough to take him away from me, he's wrong. I'm so gonna make it hurt to run for him.
Narrator's POV
Sonic had cuddled with the black hedgehog in the bed. He had his head on the pet's chest fur. He looked so comfortable, but the black one didn't. (Just as shown on the picture)
The black one was missing his owner.
"Scourge... Sc-ourge. Mmm..." He wanted his owner back. He was dreaming about him. He wanted to cuddle to him. He missed him dearly. The black one awoke from his slumber. "I wanna go home..." He whispered.
