Nineteen year old Isabella Gallagher has the best life any young adult could ask for. She is acing medical school, she has an amazing best friend Addison Brant, a loving boyfriend Jake Dylan, she never expected anything to go wrong.

It Isn't until her world comes crashing down she realizes how oblivious she'd been. Will Isabella crumble? Or will someone step up and help her through her situation, someone she never thought would. And most importantly will that someone become something more?

As I'm jotting down important notes, I feel a presence behind me, way to close. "Have a pencil?" Miles Cunningham asks, startling me with a smug smirk plastered on his face.I make a pouty face. "Nope, sorry." I lie. I actually do, I'm Isabella Gallagher, I do not come to class unprepared. I just know he's talking to me to get under my skin, he knows I don't like him.

He cocks his head to the side, still grinning. "Come on darlin, what's your problem with me?" Oh what's my problem with you? Don't even get me started!

"Mr. Cunningham!" The professor shouts from his mini stage. "Do you wish to teach this to the class instead?" Chuckles echo through the room. Miles leans back into his seat putting his hand against his heart and shaking his head.

"No thank you sir, I'm perfectly fine here." He says sounding as if he did nothing wrong. "Just needed a pencil that's all!"

"Coming to class unprepared I see, hmm?" More laughter fills the room. His eye twitches, just as the professor turns back around, Miles shoots me a quick glower.

"Sorry, darlin." I jibed, turning back around. And the point goes to me.

The bell rings dismissing us, everyone eagerly jumps up and begins filing out of the oversized room. I push through the crowds of people and meet Addison in the courtyard by a bench we designated as our meeting point.

"Come on let's go home." She says blatantly.

"Hello to you too..." When she doesn't respond I turn to her. "What's wrong? We always go for sushi on Fridays, it's a tradition."

"We can go another time! Lets just go home." She pleads once more; weird.

"I guess so."

Eventually, we approach the door to our apartment and instead of getting the key out, she starts knocking. What the actual hell is she doing? Has she lost her damn mind?

"Addison, why the hell are you knocking on our-" the door starts to open, stopping me from speaking.
