Hello and welcome to Daily Dose of Chicklit! This new venture aims to showcase different books, and excerpts based on a weekly theme. Readers will have the opportunity to participate via comments and share stories with the rest of us on ChickLit. We hope that Daily Dose of Chicklit can help you find books you love and offer a much needed dose of inspiration.

This month, we will be featuring weekly prompts and daily recommendations for your writing and reading pleasure. Here's how it works:

Every Sunday, a new prompt will be posted. You're encouraged to engage with fellow writers and readers by posting a drabble or short paragraph based on the prompt in the comment section. Then, every Saturday, we will have a discussion of the week's prompt. The best drabbles will receive a special mention in our discussions.

Every weekday, we will recommend a different chicklit story to our readers. These stories are our top picks of this month—some are hot favorites in the chicklit genre, while others are undiscovered gems that you can add to your reading list.

If you would like your story to be featured, you can use our submission form to enter. The link to submission form is the same as our regular reading list submission form. This means that when you submit your story to be recommended, it stands the chance to be added to our reading list as well! Regardless of reads or following, every story will be vetted through by our team and given an equal chance to be recommended. Even if your story isn't recommended this month, it might still be added to one of our reading lists on the profile.
