《Sexting a Stranger [h.s.]》Chapter 3.

It feels great to be waking up past ten. I sit up in my bed stretching all my limbs before putting on a sports bra and heading down stairs.
"Morning Rion." My father greets me when I enter the kitchen. "Hey dad." I sigh at the use of my full name. My Dad is probably the only person I can tolerate calling me Rion. You either call me Ry or I don't speak to you.
I'm the only girl I know with the name Rion. I mean first of all its a boys name and secondly its spelt odd. Why couldn't my name be a little more feminine maybe like Orion or Courtney or some shit. But no my mother repetitively tells me "it's so unique!" Or "I think it suits you well darling." Well I hate it.
I pull out a bowl and dump some cocoa pebbles in. I walk in the living-room taking a seat on my white sofa and begin eating my cereal with my hand. I don't like eating cereal with milk it makes it all soggy and ruins it. Weird I know.
I let out a huge grunt when I realize I left my phone up stairs. I place my bowl of dry cereal on the glass coffee table before I jog up the stairs to retrieve my phone off my bed. I roll my eyes when I read the name on the screen.
That's it. I'm finding out who this creep is. And I'm finding out today. There's no way I'm letting him get away with this. I'll call the cops if I have too. I jog back down the stairs taking a seat back down on my sofa. I slide my finger across my screen and enter my passcode.
Hope you like your gift. Xx.

Huh?
what gift? who are you?
As soon as I sent the message there's a knock at my door.
"I'll get it!" My little brother Jacob yells. He runs into the living room opening the huge wooden door. "Package for miss Rion Bellows."
I put my cereal bowl down and walk over to the door. A package? I never get anything in the mail. I mean I occasionally get birthday cards from my grandma and aunts but nothing like this.
I take the Manila envelope from Jacob walk to my kitchen and sit on the island with my dad. "So what is it." My nosey little brother asks
"Well gee, I don't know I haven't opened it yet, idiot." I say sarcastically. "Rion be nice." My dad said looking up from the newspaper. I just role my eyes in my dad's response hoping he doesn't notice.
I tear open the Manila envelope pulling out a smaller white envelope. I carefully rip open the white envelope to pull out two pieces of paper. One of them is a note that reads:
Enjoy. xx.
The other is a ticket. A One Direction ticket. A front row One Direction ticket. My heart stops and I let out a huge scream.
"Rion what is it!!" My dad jumps up in concern over my sudden out burst. "Dad someone sent me a front row ticket to see One Direction at Gillette Stadium." I'm literally shaking. Who would send me something so expensive? My mouth goes dry and realization hits me.
It's him.
He sent me this.

A Girl and Her Food
When a lost girl wakes up without a name, she quickly finds herself alone in a way that people around her can’t fix. Without a real plan and desperate to find what’s wrong with her, she thrashes and bites to stay alive. But human beings are weak things, that band together for strength, no matter who we are. Now if only she could work up the courage to ask one question... It’s normal to get stronger when you drink the blood of monsters. Right? Things to expect: - A powerful but kinda neurotic and emotional protagonist, with some degree of weak to strong. Or maybe strong to stronger, honestly. She's pretty rational and practical about things but won't always make the best decisions, so be warned if you super-dislike characters doing dumb stuff for emotional reasons sometimes. - Lots of dialogue and characterization, especially as we get more into it. It's focused on a single POV, but there might be some sections of other POVs later on, I'm not sure right now. - Magic is on the softer side, but I'll try to keep things fleshed out enough to avoid any obvious "well-established magic could have seemingly instantly solved this problem" moments. - I didn't add the mystery tag because I feel like it implies that this is a detective novel or something, but the story is absolutely incredibly opaque at times. So you'll have the most fun if you go into it trying to puzzle out the nature of events before they're explicitly explained!😇 - Also, I added the genre for completion, but it's gonna take a while to get to the romance. Please wait warmly and have some tea. Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge!
