You opened your eyes as you woke up. You slowly sat down and leaned against the headboard of your bed, still feeling a bit sleepy.
Days have passed since the last time you saw Namjoon but you still communicated with each other.
You stood up and did your morning routine then headed to the kitchen to eat breakfast. As usual, you will see ahjumma preparing food. You quietly sat down and watched her until she's done. You ate together then after, you helped her wash the dishes.
You went to your room and prepared yourself for work. As usual, you listen to music as you walk.
You saw the owner of the dessert shop as you enter so you greeted her, "Good morning," as you smile sweetly. She greeted back.
Your shift has started.
After your shift, you went home.
As you open the door you spoke, "I'm home!" You happily said but ahjumma didn't response. You started to feel unease because she always greet you whenever you arrive. She will also text or call you when she's gonna leave the house.
As you searched for her around the house, you ended up being at the kitchen and saw her lifeless body soaking with her own blood. Your first tear dropped followed by numbers of it. You slowly went nearer to her as you whisper "Ahjumma."
You called for help as you gently place her on your lap. You didn't even mind the blood.
Minutes later, the help arrived. The ambulance sent her to the hospital.
"What happened?" Ask the policeman. You tried to control your tears but failed. "I just came home from work then I saw her at the kitchen, soaking with her own blood." You wiped away your tears.
"Do you know anyone that is mad at her?" You shook your head. "Ahjumma is so kind. She even takes care of me even if we're not blood related."

"What's her full name?"
"Choi Dae-rin."
"That's all for now. You can rest. We will just call you for info about the investigation we've done. Can you stay with someone's house for the mean time until our investigation is done?" You nodded.
You went back home to clean yourself first then packed your things and went to your best friend's house.
She welcomed you and comforted you when she heard about the bad news from you. You cried and cried until you passed out.

Thank you for reading my first story, hopefully, the first of many to come. This will be my main story and is meant to help me practice and hone my skills as I slowly produce more complex ideas. It's a litrpg in which I want to only lightly focus on the mechanics as I don’t want to pad out the word count with math and number tables and while I want to add a few of my own twists here and there, overall I’m going to keep this story close to generic as possible so that I don't let my inexperience lead me into a corner. Thanks again to all willing to leave a review or some constructive criticism, without you I'd never improve. Unfortunately, Cover art is by me.
