《Forget Me - [ j.jk ] ✔️》6

After seeing bunny boy and getting his order, he decided to stay in the cafe which kind of annoyed you because he distracted you. You would glance up at him a bit while he wasn't looking as he talked to his also gorgeous friend that came after a few minutes bunny boy came but you couldn't help it.
You wanted to analyze his visuals, as much his friend was gorgeous as well, there was something about that idiot and you couldn't put you finger on it which pisses you off.
But you reminded yourself to not let anyone in, only to focus on your job and your brother.
So the rest of the day, you continued to work, while during your break, your brother called in to check on you as well as Luna.
Krystal did talk to her when Luna came on the phone as her eyes sparkled in happiness talking to her.
As it was started to be dark out, you decided to close up the shop since bunny boy stayed while his friend left. Before krystal can leave, she stops in her tracks as she pulls you into the kitchen. "What?" You ask tiredly not wanting to hear what she has to say.
"So that's the dude that gets on your nerves that wants to make you kill someone or him?" She ask with a grin. You roll your eyes but sigh. "Yep." You only say before pushing krystal out. "Now go home." You lastly say as you see her roll her eyes before sticking her tongue out to you in a playful manner.
You walk towards a table that bunny boy was sitting at and sit down in the seat in front of him. "Okay why did you stay, looking at your face and bumping into you is already enough painful as it is, I don't want your presence around me." You say while placing your arms on the table.

He grins at you but shrugs. "I wanted to introduce myself since I don't want to hear bunny boy the next time we meet." You raise an brow. "And who said we were gonna meet again?" You ask as he smirks at you before pointing up. "The universe." You roll your eyes with a small smile.
"You first bunny boy." You say with a grin. He grins back at you. "Jungkook." You nod your head. "Okay fair enough, amber." You say tell as he looks at you as if looking through you. You cough.
"No wonder." He mumbles. You look him confusedly. "What do you mean?" You ask. "Your eyes. They are amber as well." He says while slowly taking his gaze away before looking out the glass large windows. "Yea...get that a lot but nice to meet you jungkook and now I have a new name for you." His eyes widen.
"Oh no..please no." He mumbles. You instantly jump out of your chair. "Kook or kookie." You say with your arms held up high in the air with a smile. You look down at jungkook to see him slump into his chair in defeat. "See it was a good idea so thanks, at least you were smart for once." He looks at you at offendedly. "Rude." He mumbles while you chuckle.
"Okay well kookie, gotta go so get out of this cafe so I can close it." You say as you push his chair back so he can get out of it and he rolls his eyes before standing up. You put your hands flat on his back and begin to push him up forward since he was taking his time by walking slow and you wanted to go home.

"Hurry up bunny boy!" You jokely yell as he begins to laugh. "Damn your heavy, and why are you laughing?!" You say behind him as you manage to take him out the cafe. "Because just by you being behind me, your tiny. So ima call you tiny." You turn around once you were done locking the door.
"Oh god." You mumble. "Orrrr coldy. Since you look like a cold person and is one." You shrug your shoulders as you didn't mind if he called you coldy. "Coldy is fine." You say before going to your car. You hear his footsteps follow behind you. You turn around with a tired look. "Now What do you want?" You ask him as you see him cross his arms. "I just have one question though." He says suspiciously.
You sigh. "What?" You ask him for him to continue. "Why are you a cold person?"
You look up at him to see him wait for your answer. You slightly gulp but ignore as not want him to ask more questions. You look back at him with a serious face. "Don't know, now goodbye." You say as you unlock the car and shut it.
I watch you as you closed the door before turning on the engine. I moved to the side as you begin to pullout the parking lot before driving away, your car going smaller and smaller more further away the more you drive.
I asked that question because when I walked in the cafe and saw you come out the kitchen, you looked mad but when you looked up at me as you realized it was me who came in, I saw your amber eyes look straight at me. By the times I've bumped into you, all I saw pain but you tend to hide it behind your cold gaze and actions.
And it so happened to be that I saw that same look in your eyes behind your mad face. And then as I sat in the cafe, taking some glances at you when you look peoples order or cleaning some tables that customers have sat at, you looked stress and tired and it felt that there was something more to you.
Normally I'm use to girls flirting with me and try to act nice and all but with you, you were different. It felt as you didn't care about my looks nor cared about anything but your eyes tell something. As well as your actions, you didn't even try to be nice and it felt as something happened that made you like this.
And now here I am being interested in you, wanting to find more about you every time I bump into you but who am I kidding, why am I even thinking about all these questions when I shouldn't worry about it because I don't know you, I don't have to and I don't want to.
I sigh as I don't want to stress out about this so I head back to my car and take my leave back home.

Cutting to Life: an NPC LitRPG (Battle Royale)
Nikola is an NPC in The World of Wills, a video game where players can feel sensations as if they were truly there. She leads a life of bloodshed and murder - that is, until one day she wakes up sapient. Just as she begins thinking real, non-scripted thoughts and making connections, she and the players in the game are told that if they die in the game, they die in real life - and it's time to get killing. But what of Nikola, the emerging AI consciousness? How does she win in a game that can only end in her being wiped from existence at the end of it all? - Updates Mondays and Fridays. Cutting to Life is a slow-burn LitRPG with a villainous (later anti-hero, or maybe still villainous, haha) female lead. It's told from the perspective of Nikola, an NPC within the World of Wills who's become sapient and is now mysteriously able to play the game as a PC. It's quite light for a LitRPG, but the system and stats become more of a focus later when Nikola herself can access them. The story gradually builds into a Battle Royale where the players' lives are on the line (if you die in the game, you die in real life), and only one party of savvy adventurers can win. They'll have to spend their time and stats wisely as dungeons promising rare gear float down from the sky - but is a legendary sword worth killing someone for, knowing they'll stay dead forever? - This story is told in third person, past tense.- This is a slow-burn LitRPG that spends a lot of time establishing its setting and characters, because I believe this will make for a better payoff in the end. As such, the Battle Royale doesn't start until chapter 30 or so.- Chapters are anywhere between 800 words and 3000 words long.- Book cover by Vixeona.Cutting to Life is also being posted on SPB and Scribble Hub.Thank you sincerely for reading.
