《Percy Jackson x Reader-Sea of Monsters》Chapter 5

Will and I led the Apollo cabin to the dining pavilion since we were the head counselors. When we entered I saw our new activities director, Tantalus sitting at the head table with Mr.D.
The other cabins came, I looked up and saw Percy with Tyson. Once the campers saw Tyson they started whispering/staring.
"Who invited that?" Shawn, one of my half siblings, asked.
I saw Percy glared at Shawn.
"Well if it isn't Peter Johnson." Mr.D said as he sipped his Diet Coke.
"It's Percy Jackson...sir." Percy said.
"Whatever."
Mr.D looked at Tantalus.
"This is the one. Poseidon's kid."
Tantalus looked at Percy.
"Ah yes the little troublemaker."
I was confused at what he was talking about until Mr.D snapped his fingers and a newpaper popped out of nowhere. It was kinda hard for me to read because of my dyslexia but I think it said: 'Thirteen-Year-Old Lunatic Torches Gymnasium'.
"But know this Jackson if you create any trouble there will be severe punishment."
Tantalus said as he tried to drink his coke but failed because of his curse.
"But now to more important things," Mr.D says as he looked at Tyson, "Like where to put the beast."
Campers started whispering but then gasped. My eyes widened. Above Tyson's head was a glowing green trident-the same symbol that appeared above Percy when Poseidon claimed him as his son. Silence filled the air until Tantalus started laughing.
"Well I think we now know where to put the beast. By the gods, I can see the family resemblance!"
Everyone laughed except for me, Will, Annabeth, and a few other of Percy's friends. Percy looked so mad I thought he was going to attack Tantalus. Tyson didn't notice that everyone was laughing at him since he was too busy trying to swat away the glowing trident that was fading away.

I looked at Percy, who was looking at me. I gave him a small smile. At least he wasn't going to be alone anymore. He has a half brother now...A monster for a half brother.
The next few days were torture. Tyson moved into the Poseidon cabin. He kept giggling saying, "Percy is my brother?".
I tried explaining it to him but it was no use. I couldn't help but feel embarrassed-no ashamed. And the comments from the other campers weren't really helping the situation.
Right now I was with (Y/N), practicing our sword fighting while Tyson was with Beckendorf from the Hephaestus cabin. We were worried sick for the camp but we didn't know know what to do about it.
After sword fighting, we went to archery class. (Y/N) is awesome in that class since she is a daughter of Apollo. She's like my personal tutor for archery since I suck at it. After archery class, we went to the climbing wall😅. I scaled the wall in full lava-and-earthquake mode. Once I was on the top, I expertly jumped off.
(Y/N) punched me in the shoulder .
"No promises."
She playfully rolled her eyes and started to climb the wall. I watched as she climbed to the top of the wall. I thought she was just going to climb down but she also jumped down just like I did. But right before she landed I caught her, bridal style. Our faces were inches apart.
"Gods you scared me. Don't do that again." I whispered as I looked at her (E/C) eyes.
(Y/N) said using my own words against me
We sat down when some campers from the Aphrodite's cabin walked towards us and asked me if I needed to borrow some eyeliner for my eye...
"Oh sorry, eyes." They walked away laughing.

"I tried to (Y/N). But I can't help it. I used to be the cool guy that retrieved Zeus's lightning bolt last summer but now I'm just Percy Jackson, the poor schmuck with the ugly monster for a brother." I said as I looked away from her.
I felt her hand on my face, making me look at her (E/C) eyes
(Y/N) said.
I smiled at her and leaned in to give her a small kiss.
"By the way, what's yours and Annabeth's problem with Tyson?"
(Y/N)'s face paled a little.
"You know exactly what I'm talking about. You two act differently around him. Is it because he's a Cyclops?"
(Y/N) sighed. Her eyes were full of sorrow. She looked at Thalia's poisoned tree.
I decided to change the subject.
"Soo did you find a cure yet?"
She shook her head and ran her fingers through her soft (H/C) hair.
I smiled at her determination. That's another thing I like about (Y/N). She's so determined not to mention beautiful, caring, selfless, and really smart too. Probably smarter than Annabeth.
"Yeah?"
"Yes. How did you know?"
I nodded and told her my dream just how I told Annabeth. After I finished telling her my dream, she looked so deep in thought.
"I think he said something about the Sea of Monsters. And...the Golden Fleece."
(Y/N) quickly got up.
She then ran towards her cabin. I followed close behind her. When I got to the Apollo cabin (Y/N) already entered. I saw Annabeth there at the entrance of the cabin. She had a stack of books beside her. I sat down next to her just as (Y/N) came out with a book in her hands.
I said as I sat down.
"Well what is it?"
I opened the book and flipped through some pages until I stopped at one. I showed Annabeth the book.
I said as she read the book.
Annabeth nodded.
"And it would strengthen the borders of Camp Half-Blood...but the Fleece has been missing for centuries. Tons of heroes have searched for it with no luck." Annabeth said.
"But Grover found it," Percy said. "He went looking for Pan and he found the Fleece instead because they both radiate nature magic. We can rescue him and save the camp at the same time. It's perfect!"
Annabeth thought about it.
"A little too perfect, don't y'all think? It could be a trap."
I asked.
"But then we have to fight a Cyclops. Polyphemus, the worst of all the Cyclops. And his island is at the Sea of Monsters."
"Where's that?" Percy asked.
I mentally facepalmed while Annabeth just stared at Percy.
"It's at the Bermuda Triangle Percy." I said.
"Ok. At least we know where to look." Percy said.
"The Sea of Monsters is huge. Searching for one tiny island in monster-infested waters-"
"Hey. I'm the son of Poseidon. It's my home turf. How hard can it be?" Percy said as he cut Annabeth off.
"We'll have to talk to Tantalus, get approval for a quest but he'll say no." Annabeth said.
I said
"It might work...Ok let's do it tonight." Annabeth said, finally agreeing to our plan.

Essence Eater (A Super Progression Fantasy)
Gods. Demons. Aliens. Superheroes. Supervillains.Consume them all for power. Eighty years have passed since WW2, when Prime took to the skies and ended the war. No one knows what gave him his power, or what birthed the wave of supers that came after. Some claimed the nuclear bombs dropped in Japan cracked the barrier between Universes, allowing alien energies to enter the dimension. Others believed the wars finally triggered what humanity needed to reach a new stage of evolution. Daniel Das lives with his uncle in post-super London, the League of Hero's primary hub. He's spent all of his twenty-one years pushing himself, training in martial arts and studying supers, hoping he'll awaken his metagene and gain super powers. The cut-off age is close, but he hasn't yet awakened superpowers. Meanwhile, the League is steadily losing parts of the city to the growing villain factions. Daniel's uncle wishes to keep him away from the world of supers, but with the hot zones closing in, that's easier said than done. There are villains selling unregulated superpowers to gangs and dark days are on the horizon. Despite his limitations, there is no stopping Daniel. He is ravenous for power. If needed, he will ally with demons if they give him the power to protect his family and home. -------------------------------- This world building is heavily inspired by Worm and The Boys. It features dark, realistic storylines, corporation-funded heroes, and villains who aren't necessarily bad guys. The protagonist's powerset involves the crowd-favourite consuming enemies for power trope, too. The GameLit/LitRPG elements are super light and takes a while to kick in. The powercreep is slow as well since I don't enjoy overpowered protagonists. Chapters everyday until book 1 is complete. The schedule will change once I reach that point.

A Titan's Crusade
Erik Thayne spent most of his life being brutally ridiculed and tormented for his weight and physical appearance, among other things. A social pariah and diagnosed with an eating disorder no one has an explanation or treatment for, Erik spent years trying to overcome his issues with his personal image and escape the ridicule and vicious torment of his peers. After years of dedicated effort, and a fresh start in a town away from his childhood and adolescent tormentors, he had finally begun to truly realize what he'd been striving for all along. Only, fate apparently has other plans because in the blink of an eye, Erik found himself snatched from Earth and taken to another universe, another world, where he is offered the chance to be more than he'd ever imagined. Now, he has to fight to restore the Balance between Chaos and Order on a world of swords and magic, in a universe governed by the System's laws, which resemble those of RPGs from Earth. Erik learned to embrace the things about himself that others taught him to hate, using them to reforge his physical identity into something more removed from his old self-loathing. But can he learn to embrace the darkest parts of his mind just as he did the reviled aspects of his body and become who he needs to be to succeed in the task set before him? It might just prove easier to stalk in the dark as a monster than to walk in the light as a man... *This is my first time publishing anything I've written to a public audience. Due to formatting issues, I forwent traditional stat-screens for something a little less problematic, delineating stat screens by separating them from regular text with horizontal lines in a lighter-grey coloration. Let me know if you like them or not. Criticism is entirely welcome, but please don't hate on my work after only reading 1 chapter. This is a writing project I intend to complete but I have committment problems so we'll see how long this goes on. Also, fair warning, as the description implies, the main protagonist is intended to be someone who has been treated cruelly, developed antisocial tendencies, and ultimately has to question his own humanity--or lack thereof. This story is not intended to be brutally dark but I will definitely be trying to follow a darker theme. It is intended to be violent and some scenes later in the story might be...alarming. There will likely also be some light, non-graphic (think more implied with crude jokes and conversation than actual details, there will be no full-blown sex scenes)relationship scenes planned later and if you're opposed to either a bisexual or gay main character, stay away. I haven't yet decided which way he's going to swing but the odds on him being straight are relatively miniscule, and I've always wanted to write a story about a gay man who basically looks like a lumberjack because who doesn't like giving conventional stereo-types the middle finger? This will NOT be a harem story, and I have no intention to focus on romance over action--it's a consequence of character development where I'm concerned, not the be-all-end-all of the story. The cover-art does not, in any way, belong to me. It was an image titled the Druid King (by duskanmarkovic according to the file name) which I found on Google Images. Until I can get something commissioned, this is the best stand-in image I could find.

The Electric Messiah
Volume Two of the Ontogeny series. A time of unprecedented crisis has come. During a mission to the edge of the known world, Brigadier Weyland James discovered that humanity faces a threat so terrible that the sane mind can barely conceive it. His task is made even harder by the fact that several governments have been infiltrated by agents of the enemy, who are using their influence to sow seeds of war and chaos. The Brigadier is not mankind's only hope, though. In Helberion, a small group of scientists, struggling to make a major scientific breakthrough, is being hampered by assassination and sabotage. Is this the work of the enemy of mankind? King Leothan hopes it is, because it would mean that the enemy fears this new science, that it could be used to create a powerful weapon against them. A weapon that could be the Saviour of Mankind. The Electric Messiah... This is the sequel to Ontogeny. If you haven't read that book yet you must read it before you read this book.

A War Beyond Kings
Author: I made som mistakes early in the story that I will have to correct, but it will take some time. I have not abandoned this story, but I will be working on my computer and will not be active on royal road. "The elves start to leave their secure forest of Silvanwood for the first time in over two thousand years. Wizards are murdered in their own homes one by one to the dismay of the Jeidan Order of mages. The ancient ruins in Agnellia seem to have awoken after thousands of years of abandon. The flames of war are brewing, and the continent of Maëgor is about to witness a war like never seen before." Author’s note: This is a serious story, loosely inspired from many great works, which you will maybe be able to identify on your own. It is entirely original though. I’ll be working on this for hours every day, but that doesn’t necessarily means that there’ll be daily chapters. I don't own the rights to the cover image, and will immediatly take it down if the author requires so. Every chapter will be at least 2000 words. And congratulations to anyone who guesses on which language the chapter titles are written in.
