《Kita Shinsuke》Chapter 4

He finished up his tea and we walked down the town. I hadn't realised who late it was but Kita did. On our way back he offered to walk me home. "If you have the time." I said putting my hand at the back of my neck smiling at him.
He walked me back to me house. "Thanks for coming with me." I turned my head smiling at him. "No problem." He answered. "You can come in if you want." I put the key in the door. I looked around and I realised it was later then I thought. Around 9 I think. "You probably should it's late." I opened the door. He looked around and thought about it for a minute.
I just ended up pulling him. The house would have been cold by the time he decided. I took of my shoes and so did he. "Come on, Atsumu and Osamu should still be up." I grabbed his hand pulling him along the house. I made it into the kitchen pulling Kita behind me. "Hey!" I smiled at them. Sitting at the kitchen table waiting for my food to be on the table. Even after I told them to make food themselves. They turned to look at me "Kita?" They asked at them same time. "Hello." He said emotionless.
I looked around the room. "I guess I'll start the cooking." I walked up to the kitchen and started to make soba. The boys were talking behind me. At least they weren't fighting.
I finished up the soba and brought it over to them. I filled up four plates of it and set it down. "Thank you for the meal." They all said. The twins ate the food within a matter of seconds. Kita and I watched them devour their food. I slowly started to eat my first bite as Atsumu pushed his plate forward.

"So how was your day?" I asked them trying to break the tension. "I beat Atsumu at a race." Osamu said looking at Atsumu with a smirk on his face. "It was only because my lace was untied." Atsumu blurted out. I laughed at them and their little fights. "How about you?" They both asked at the same time. "Well I got us a training camp." I continued to eat my soba.
"REALLY?" They both yelled. I flinched at the loud noise. "Maybe you should keep the noise down." Kita said. "But yeah I did." I kept eating my soba.
"Great." Osamu said smiling at me. I was about halfway done my soba but then I looked down at my food. If you eat anymore you'll be fat. A voice in my head. I listened to the voice and left the rest of my food. "I'm doing to clear away now but Atsumu or Osamu you can give Kita some clothes and lead him to the spare room." I walked over to the sink again. "Alright." They all answered.
I started to wash up the plates. Just as I was cleaning up the knives I put my hand under the hot water. I winced in pain after slicing my hand. I had cut across the middle of my left hand. I held my hand against my chest and walked towards the bathroom.
"Y/n?" Kita said from behind me. "Oh Kita, I sliced my hand by accident." I let out a soft laugh. He walked up behind me and turned on the water. He stood right behind my back. He pulled my arm away from my chest and put it under the water. He leaned down his head basically on my shoulder. He started to massage the scar under the water. He was really a professional at this. After a minute of the cold water on my hand he pulled it out. "Looks good to me." He whispered since he was so close to my ear. He really liked being at my ear doesn't he I thought.

"Yeah thanks," I tried to turn to face him but instead I was right up close to his face. I stayed completely still for a second but then I backed away a bit. "Sorry, sorry, sorry." I started apologising. When I opened up my eyes again his face was bright red. "Kita, are you ok?" I said oblivious to the fact that he was blushing. "Are you feeling ok?" I asked coming closer and closer to his face.
"I-I, it's nothing," he mumbled. He backed away a bit. Of course just then Atsumu walked into the room. "What's going on in here?" He asked slyly. "I-it's nothing." I said walking up to him. Kita still had a bright red face so I tried to direct Atsumu's attention somewhere else. "Atsumu did you get the clothes?" I asked pushing him out of the bathroom. "Yep, here." He handed me some clothes. "Here Kita," I threw the clothes onto the floor and shut the door.

Now if this change was a good or bad thing, he didn't know. But there was one thing Jacob knew for certain. He didn't have to mop the floors anymore. Author's Note: (This is my first story, and I would be very thankful if grammatical errors were pointed out. I could also take a few suggestions in the comments if you would. This is less a planned production, and more a little project that I'm winging as it goes. I will try and be consistent with at least 2 chapters a week. Also, as I am a completely new author, the number of words per chapter may fluctuate. The minimum will be around 1000 words, while other chapters may be 2000-3000. It will hopefully only get better with time.)
