《YOUTH ⇢ BENNY WEIR》one

Sophia and her younger sister, Jane, were sat in front of the TV watching Jane's favourite film: Dusk. Sophia doesn't like the film at all, she says it's too "romantic and emo for her", but watches it nevertheless because she doesn't want to upset her younger sibling, who was engrossed in it, despite the fact everyone in the family had lost count of how many times she'd watched it.
Ethan, Sophia's younger brother and his dorky best friend: Benny, ran into the kitchen and dumped a load of candy onto the table. The thought of so much candy made her sick to her stomach.
"Look at all this! Did you rob an ice cream truck or something?" Ethan asked Benny.
"Tomorrow we officially join the high school brotherhood." Benny said. "We are men."
Sophia scoffed at Benny's statement, got up and sat opposite him. "What are you two geeks doing?"
"We're making it the Sunday to end all Sunday's!" Ethan replied, eagerly eyeing the candy.
"That's disgusting."
"What is?" Benny asked, with a mouth already full of junk.
I leaned back and shivered. "Nevermind."
"Remember when you put 176 of these in your mouth?" Ethan asked Benny, holding up a large packet of marshmallows.
"It was 186!"
"No, I did 172, you did 176." Ethan argued.
"You barely hit 150!"
They both looked at each other for a moment before diving at the packet of candy, trying to open it. "It's mine!" Benny announced.
"Remember to count them!" Ethan ordered.
"Hey, Ethan, Sophia, do you hear that?" Jane asked us.
Sophia's head snapped towards Jane before listening intently. She shook her head. "No, do you hear anything Eth-" she cut herself off once she looked at her nerd of a brother with his mouth full of marshmallows. He ignored us and carried on mumbling something to Benny.

Jane stood up and spoke to her teddy. "Teenagers really are dumb."
Sophia was too focused on Ethan and Benny and didn't realise Jane left the room. They kept mumbling stuff to each other, she was pretty certain not even they couldn't understand what they were saying.
The teenagers stopped what they were doing once they heard Jane scream and immediately got up and ran to the door.
"Ethan! Sophia!" The siblings looked at each other with panic before running outside, followed by Benny.
Ethan spat out his marshmallows. "Hey... you're home early."
"Hi mom..." Sophia said.
Benny, who was stood behind the siblings, awkwardly waved before scratching the back of his head, his mouth still full of marshmallows.
"How was date night?" Sophia asked them.
Their parents didn't look happy. Sophia and Ethan's dad comforted Jane whilst their mom looked at her as if she was about to murder them and they knew that was not a good sign.
Ethan looked back at Benny who managed to grin just a little.
We're screwed. Sophia thought to herself.

A Nerd's Wet Dream Come True (Tossing an OC into Marvel)
John was an average man. At least that's what he tells himself at night. He lived in a rented apartment in the decent district, a well-paying job, and more student debt than he cared to think about being steadily paid off. Yet he was absolutely miserable. He spent his days living like a zombie, a slave in all but name to corporate. His only joy these days it seems was reading comics and writing fanfics. SI ones. Choke full of power fantasies and large harems. Yeah, even he had to admit he was a loser. His only redeeming feature seemed to be his photographic memory and the library's worth of comics and books he has read. Yet, when fate took pity on him and had John transported into the Marvel Universe, he was only all too happy to oblige. A second chance to make something of himself. Is he going to finally have the comfortable life he wanted? Will he laze away relying on his past life's knowledge or does he want more this time? Will his ambition and hard work lead to sweet fruits, or will it rot away in the darkness hiding beneath the colorful costumes of the hero's society? Now with crossovers! Be warned if you don't like to see OCs messing up the timeline or DC and other stuff showing up. I swear I'm not randomly adding stuff and there is a legitimate (as far as comic books and fanfics can be) plot reason why. (I'll be honest, I don't know "cannon" marvel really... I watched some movies and animated series as a kid, but I haven't picked up a comic in years. This is just some light-hearted and casual writing for fun. If there are any errors or something you think would be cool please let me know.) I'm also trying to have multiple main characters so that might be jarring for some people while I switch perspective. Sorry in advance, I'm new at this and idk what I'm doing, advice and feedback gladly welcomed!

So he's trying to be smart, and pretends to be a mysterious wandering magician. Should be easy to fake right? ... and thats the first decision with gigantic consequences, since he doesn't know that only women do magic. A man doing magic is automatically unmanly. Oops.
