《BABIES!?!?!?(BTS BABY FANFIC)》jin: having younger siblings is a pain....
Jin sat on his bed with his arms crossed and a small, adorable pout restimg on his lips. Why does yoongi and the maknae line get all the attention? Jin thought angrily. Sooyoung never seemed to pay attention anymore. Before most of his brothers came, him and Sooyoung would spend a lot of time together. She would read to him, let him help her in the garden, and she would even cuddle him while they watched cartoons.
Now it seems as if all her time is being spent with his youngest brothers. She hardly read to him anymore, and she was never in the garden anymore. She wouldn't even cuddle him without her having to keep getting up to check on jimin, taehyung, and jungkook.
Life was not fair for little jinnie at all. Why did he have to have siblings? Why couldn't it have just been him and Sooyoung?
"Jinnie? Are you in here? Are you okay? What's wrong?" Sooyoung knelt in front of her oldest son and gently grabbed his small chubby hands in her big slender ones. Jin continued to look down, not wanting to seem like a crybaby in front of his mother. He already had crybaby brothers, he didn't want be labeled as one.
Sooyoung lifted his head up with two fingers under his chin. She saw the pained look in his big brown eyes and how glossy they looked, he was holding back his tears. It broke Sooyoung's heart to see how upset he was and not knowing why.
"Jinnie, baby....tell mommy what's wrong?" She caressed his cheek with her thumb gently. Jin's eyes roamed his mothers face. Did she really care to know what was wrong with him? Did she really love him.
Sooyoung patiently waited for him to speak. She didnt want to pressure him if he wasn't ready to talk about it. She tried to rack her brain for any clues to give away why he was upset but couldn't think of anything. She woke the kids up and he seemed fine. She made them breakfast and be was pretty eager to help. She let them watch cartoons while she watched the younger boys, he seemed fine. A little distracted but fine. Come to think of it, every time she was with the ginger ones, he seemed a little unfocused.

"Jin, are you upset because I pay more attention to the younger siblings and not you?" Jin shyly nodded his head at the question. He was embarrassed to be figured out so easily. It's not as if he tried to hide it, but he thought he was pretty good at masking his emotions.
"Oh jinnie, how could you think I don't love you. I love you to the moon and back. Far beyond the galaxy. Okay? Ive been focuaing on the younger siblings because I know how mature you are and I didnt want to smother you. I should have realized how much you needed me. I'm so sorry baby, forgive me?" Sooyoung's eyes began to water at the thought of how she unintentionally neglected her son. She promised herself from now on she was going to pay attention to all her sons.
After everything was resolved, Sooyoung gave her children baths and fed them their dinner. She let them play for a few minutes and then she sent them off to bed. First she tucked the three youngest in. She gave them a kiss on their cheeks and made sure the were nice and warm. Then she moved on to hobi and joon's shared room. She recited another poem for Namjoon like she does every night and she rubbed hoseok's back until he fell asleep. Finally she went to the two oldest's room. She made sure yoongi had his stuffed kumamon and she softly sang in his ear until he fell asleep. For him she made sure to read his favorite children's book: After the story and when jin fell asleep, Sooyoung sat there admiring him for a little while longer. Jin was truly a blessing to her. Having him in her life made it easier for her to continue being the mother she needs to be for all of her boys.

Thinking back on it, Sooyoung never realized how amazing her life would be if she hadn't recieved that letter. When him came into her life that day, she knew this is what she needed to be doing. This is what she was meant to do.
