The Dread Doctors resurrected the Beast of Gevaudan, Malia was trying to take down the Desert Wolf - her mother - and Deaton was kidnapped by the Desert Wolf.
Theo agreed to help Malia find Deaton, saying that there was something in the Doctors' lair that could help, except he would need to inject her with Wolfsbane. She allowed herself to be injected, even though Willow detested it.
She didn't like Theo. Of course, she thought he was attractive, but his charm wouldn't work on her. All she cared about was Malia.
The two had started dating shortly after Willow agreed to suck Malia's blood. By having sex with her, drinking from her, and spending most of their time together, they became inseparable.
Stiles was still Malia's anchor, but Willow didn't mind. An anchor was like a first love - impossible to forget, easy to push out.
Braeden wasn't thrilled of the idea of going into Fort Jewett and that Theo was part of the plan. She held strong resentment for the teenage boy.
It turned out that Theo had been working with the Desert Wolf. He knocked Braeden out, while the Desert Wolf took care of Malia. Theo and Willow were circling each other, waiting for the other to attack first.
When Malia was born, she took away much of her mother's speed, healing ability, and power. The Desert Wolf wanted her power back and planned to kill Malia to get it, but Deaton saved the day.
"If you want her power, you need to kill her on a full moon," he said to the Desert Wolf. "Corinne, if you kill her now, you'll get nothing."
Then, the Beast of Gevaudan burst through the walls and created chaos. Malia decided to save Deaton rather kill her mother. Willow flashed away from Theo and carried Braeden out of Fort Jewett, while Malia ran behind them with Deaton.
The Desert Wolf lived another day with Theo on her side.
Willow blew the hair out of her face as she carried Braeden. "Theo is a dick. I'm going to always repeat that."

To those who have survived: I write this now, for I fear my death is imminent. Barnabas Schmidt wasn't serious when he said he knew what was going on in Paris. Thomas Sauer wasn't expecting to put his life on the line studying a mysterious disease. Julia Krause wasn't trying to join a cult. And the Holy Roman Empire wasn't prepared to fight the Beans. In the year 1587, the small farming village of Dijon in the Kingdom of France is attacked by seemingly immortal monsters made out of baked beans. As Schmidt fights against the Beans on the front lines, the Beans steadily approach the Empire's borders. As Sauer searches for the Beans' weaknesses, the Church of the Beanmeister paves the way for the arrival of the God. As Krause helps the Church, she begins to question her loyalty to the Beanmeister.
