The sky was full of blazing stars. The crescent moon was smiling at the people below. There was silence all around. Abhishek was sitting in his room and working on the laptop. Beside him, Diya was sleeping peacefully.
Divya entered the room and sat down on the bed. She said, "" Abhishek thought for a while and nodded. Divya smiled. She trusted him.
She laid down to sleep, unaware what the next day had in store for her.

Divya's meeting had been a big success. She had managed to find a good place for her boutique at a reasonable price. She was happy and was in a hurry to reach home to share the news with her husband. But before she could, her phone rang. It was a call from Diya's school. She answered the call and was told that Abhishek had yet not reached to pick her up and his phone was not reachable. Promising to reach soon, she cut the call and took a cab.]
Divya was shocked would be an understatement. She called Abhishek but his phone was not reachable. She was highly disappointed and hurt by his behaviour. She reached Diya's school and thanked her teacher innumerable times for taking care of the little child. And then, she took Diya back home.
The mother-daughter reached the home at the same time as Vinay and Swati. They opened the door and entered the house. Swati asked Divya, "" "" answered Divya. At the same time, her phone rang. It was Abhishek. She answered the call, "" It was clear from her behaviour that she was hurt by what had happened. She carried Diya to their room and helped her change.

Fifteen minutes later, Abhishek entered the room and looked at his wife and daughter. "" he began. Divya showed him her hand and spoke, "" She broke off. She did not wisht o imagine anymore "what ifs". Abhishek spoke, ""
Divya looked at him. She now knew that he had not behaved carelessly but her heart was not ready to accept that a man who was so perfect could also do something wrong, even if unintentionally. She did not notice when Diya left the room.
Abhishek tried to hold her hand but she said, "" Abhishek whispered, "."
Diya came with a glass of water and sat down next to her mother and said, ""
"" whispered Divya. Diya hugged her mother and said, "" Abhishek smiled at his daughter's innocence but Divya left the room.
Divya entered the living room and went to her parents-in-law. She dragged her mother-in-law to the guest room and made her sit on the bed. She, herself sat down on the floor and said, ""
Swati smiled and said, "" Divya nodded and said, "" "" asked Swati. Divya shook her head in no. Swati said, ""
Divya looked at her mother-in-law with admiration. She had explained such a big thing so easily.
She hurried back to her room and saw Abhishek sitting on the bed with Diya on his laps. Pain was easily visible on his face. She sat down next to him and hugged him tightly and said, "" Abhishek broke the hug and looked at her face. He smiled and said, "" Diya clapped happily. Her parents chuckled.

Path of the Ancients
When humans with the ability to control the fundamental particles of the universe with their minds were first discovered, the age of space travel began in earnest. Relativistic travel faster than the speed of light became possible and humanity moved out into the stars. When it was discovered that these Mages could be turned into effective weapons, humanity turned back to its oldest pastime of war. Hundreds of years later as humanity was on the brink of self-destruction, with its taste for war finally beginning to wane, a new organization was created. The Conclave was formed to regulate all Mage’s within the human colonies. While the colonies maintained their independence, the Conclave’s control over access to interstellar travel made them the de facto power amongst humanity. As the old saying goes, ‘Power Corrupts’, and many people were unhappy with the way the Conclave had been leveraging its authority, not the least of which were the Mages they controlled. One unregistered illegal Mage by the name of Tyrial had made it his life's mission to dismantle the Conclave at any cost. After spending decades working towards his goals alone, he realized he would need the aid of willing allies in his crusade. Tyrial would need all the help he could get learning to work with others, dealing with his own dark past, and handling unfamiliar feelings of romantic interest. Content Warning Note: They are there to cover my behind. I honestly hesitated to put them there at all but I figured better safe than sorry. Gore in particular barely applies and the sexual content amounts to light Cinemax style at best. But, at least now you can’t say I didn’t warn you. Runicka: Tournament of Monsters (A GameLit Card Game Fantasy)
The runes are changing, and with it, the game itself changes. Taygion Ardwella finds himself stranded, alone, and on the run from some very determined guards who claim Tay's stolen from them. They're right, but that shouldn't mean Tay has to give back what he took. He's only been in Stormwall for a week and already, he's earning the ire of the most powerful and notorious House that controls the city's underground. And when their scion challenges Tay to a duel of cards, Tay will find himself thrust into a game of sorcery and strategy as he attempts to both find a way out of this mess and find his own way in the world. To do both, he'll need to learn to accept guidance and coaching where it's sorely needed, craft a deck of unimaginable power, and not die whenever his opponents try and cheat him out of a hard-earn victory. But not all is as it seems in the shadows of Stormwall, and if Tay can figure out the importance of what it is he's stolen, he may just have a chance at saving the game of Runicka. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Runicka: Tournament of Monsters is a high fantasy, card game-based adventure novel with enough magic, worldbuilding, and characters to fill a Sanderson series. I would consider it a part of the GameLit subgenre. This series in particular is not an isekai, and will start and end in a high fantasy setting complete with its own lore and backstory. It is a progression fantasy, and I am writing it inspired by all the Yu-Gi-Oh mangas/animes, and all the hours I've invested/wasted (depending on who you ask) playing TCGs like Yu-Gi-Oh and Magic: The Gathering. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is a work in progress. In your journey through Stormwall alongside Tay, you'll probably find typos, grammatical errors, and maybe a confusing sentence every once in a while (although I hope to keep these to a minimum). That said, comments and suggestions on where I can improve are not only encouraged but greatly appreciated. And finally, expect new chapters every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~**Currently on a small hiatus. I have a bit of a workplace crisis going on. I'm still writing, but I don't have time to polish and publish. Chapters will return on a regular basis soon though!!**
