《Untold Destiny》4. It Is Indeed A Beautiful Morning

As the sunlight entered the room, Abhishek woke up. He opened his eyes and looked at the clock. It was 6:30 in the morning. He looked at Divya and Diya. They had hugged each other. HE smiled, thinking, "Such pure innocent love! I wish I could be a part of it." He sighed. Not waking them up, he went to the washroom and did his morning routine. Re-entering the room, he sat down on the bed and started surfing his mobile. But his mind was somewhere else. He was soon lost among his thoughts.
"So, every time Divya's father told us that she was happy with the wedding, he was lying. I should have forced him to allow us to meet. But no, I had to blindly believe him. I am the biggest idiot of the century. What should I do now?"
At the same time, Divya woke up. She looked at the clock and then at Abhishek. ""
Abhishek smiled, ""
Divya nodded and went to the washroom, while Abhishek went to the kitchen. Not able to decide what to cook, he settled for bread and jam and tea. When he returned to the room, Divya was in the room, sitting on the bed and caressing Diya's hairs.
Abhishek kept the breakfast on the bed and sat in front of Divya.
"" he asked. Divya nodded. She moved her hand forward to take the cup of tea but Abhishek stopped her. ""
Divya picked up the bread. Abhishek asked his first question, "" Divya looked at him. ""
Abhishek understood her concern and said, "" Divya nodded.
Abhishek smiled, then continued, ""
Divya took a deep breath and said, "" Abhishek understood. ""
Divya looked at him and said, "" Abhishek nodded.
Drinking her tea, Divya asked him, ""

Abhishek nodded. Divya hesitated for a moment and then slowly said, ""
Abhishek laughed, ""
Divya smiled. At that very moment, Diya woke up and hugged her mother.
"" said the child cutely, kissing her mother.
"" wished her mother, kissing back.
Abhishek pouted, "" Diya looked at her mother. Divya said, "" Diya stared her mother. Divya hugged her, "" Diya slowly crawled to Abhishek and sat near him. Abhishek picked her up and made her sit on his laps. He hugged her to his heart and held her protectively. He kissed her face. Getting so much love from someone other than her mother was a new thing for her Diya. She wrapped her small arms around Abhishek's neck and kissed his cheek. ""
Both, Abhishek and Divya, were surprised. While Divya understood her daughter, Abhishek cared about nothing else. He hugged the child his daughter and emotionally whispered, "" There were tears in his eyes. Tears of happiness.
Theirs is not a blood relation. So what? Their relation will be based on pure love and unbreakable trust.

The Shards of Sylvia's Soul
In the little village of Nyberg, Sylvia is dreaming of a future with Rebecca at her side. Together, they could move overseas. But when bandits attack, all of her tender dreams turn to ashes. Forced out of her home, Sylvia forges new bonds with the Fri, the women who have taken it upon themselves to protect their little corner of the world. She also meets Afi, a strange bandit with a stern face and a soft heart. Saving each other from certain demise, they join in a bond which irreversibly ties their souls together. So bonded, they attempt to settle down. When a distant heir to the Crown asks for aid to reunite the country, Sylvia sees her chance to finally right all the wrongs committed against her family. In the pursuit of the throne, Afi and Sylvia come to risk their very lives. Sylvia uncovers the relationship between soul, magic, and divinity itself, but even in research, there is peril. It is not an easy task to balance the strain on her soul with the demands of the upcoming battle. In this world, the soul is not an incorporeal concept. To the contrary, the human soul is a physical object, an organ which resides in the chest of each individual. It is a great source of strength, but also of vulnerability. Hardship can leave scratches and blemishes, or even break the soul in two. The soul is each person's connection to divinity, to the magic which is ubiquitous to the world. It enables the cultivation of gods, but old legends warn of demons emerging in the presence of corrupt intention, and of hollow warriors, with no soul at all. There are two sides to every page. The Designated: Out of Control
It happened quicker than anyone would have imagined. Multiple hurricanes were one thing. People had dealt with that in the past. But, like kids playing dominoes, one thing crashed into another. Areas affected by hurricanes needed resources all along the Gulf and East Coasts drew rescuers and resources away from other parts of the country. When wildfires lit up the Pacific coast and mid-west, those areas were already understaffed. Driven by hurricanes in the Pacific basin, uncontrolled wildfires burned through towns, destroying everything in their paths. Across the Pacific, Asia didn't escape. From the Philippines, across China, into Indochina, and Bangladesh and India. Typhoons and cyclones pounded the coasts and far inland. Widespread flooding forced millions from their homes and across international borders. Mexico was hit hard and thousands died in mudslides as Katia slammed into their East Coast. The refugees fled north and west. Rumours started that hundreds of thousands were headed for the US border. Instead of running out of steam in the southern US, several hurricanes tore up the eastern seaboard, devastating cities and renewing their strength before veering east across the Atlantic. Maria and Ophelia veered east and slammed into Europe, reaching as far as the Netherlands and Russia before finally dissipating. After that, too many weather stations were offline to provide any form of co-ordinated information or warnings. Wildfires in Portugal burned ahead of the storms, fanned by hurricane winds. They sparked wildfires leapfrogging across Europe, beyond any one country's ability to cope. Already uneasy from multiple terrorist attacks over the summer, anti-refugee groups seized the opportunity to stage protests across Europe. Some turned violent as they clashed with police forces. Several governments declared martial law to quell the rioting and enforce evacuations along the path of the storms. Rumour and speculation overwhelmed facts. Unrest spilled over into widespread violence. Then sickness broke out in the displaced populations. Within a matter of a dozen weeks, tens of millions died. In the coming winter months hundreds more would follow. The Designated Project was activated.

Gods Game
The Gods gathered together in a moment of clarity and created a world where people could battle, gain powers, and eventually enough power to kill them and take their place. After a millennium, they still have little success. Some of the combatants have died, others have given up and accepted their lives as they are, others turned their back on their original calling entirely, rebelled and have decided to wage war against this world and the reason they are there. So the gods keep scooping people up from the various worlds they've created in hopes of finding their death. They had gathered from six of the seven worlds they had available to them, now they have no choice but to gather combatants from the one world they swore they would leave alone: Earth. The world was dying and the people seemed hell bent on killing each other, rather than focusing on keeping their world alive so they could all live peacefully. Earth wasn't an ideal place to choose from, but the Gods had no choice. With new combatants gathered, each blessed with a gift from the Gods, they are set loose in the world of Taimin. The play ground for the replacement God candidates. However, this time, the combatants are unaware of their true purpose, so that maybe, they can accomplish the God's true goals. Another round of God creation has begun, but with secrets kept from them, and others hunting for their deaths, can they survive the first rounds, or will they perish because of the weaknesses they carry? NOTE: I do not own that cover, I googled fantasy wallpaper planets and I found that one. ^_^ Also, this story will slightly be fanfictiony as some weapons and elements may come videos, shows, and/or books.

A Collection of Dreams
Welcome to what strange things my head comes up with when I'm asleep. I'd like to think of this as a series with no end. I'll update it periodically due to me not always having dreams.
