In the corner of a room, sat a girl, holding her legs close to her body and crying. She was Divya Srivastava, 28 year old and divorced. She was now living with her parents in a two BHK flat.

A small three year old girl approached her and wiped her tears. ""

Divya hugged her daughter and cried more.

Suddenly, a woman entered the room.

Diya pouted, ""

"" saying so Mrs. Sunita Srivastava sent her granddaughter outside the room.

As Diya left the room, Divya stood up and wiped her tears. She said with determination, ""

Her mother got angry, ""

Divya inquired, ""

Mrs. Sunita exclaimed, ""

Her mother almost screamed this time, ""

Sunita too raised her voice, ""

At that very moment Divya's father, Mr. Dinesh Srivastava, entered the room. He stood next to his wife and questioned his daughter, ""

Instead of answering her question, Dinesh told her, ""

Saying so, Dinesh and Sunita left the room.

Divya collapsed on the bed, thinking, "Why? Why the hell I have to marry him? Am I really a burden on my family? Is my daughter not related to them? How can they trust a stranger? How can I trust a stranger? What if he hurts my daughter? No. I won't let anyone hurt her."

Her thoughts are interrupted by her daughter.

Diya comes running to her mother, ""

Divya pulled her daughter and held her close to her heart. Tears escaped her eyes as she remembered her ex-husband and the reason for her divorce. She never wanted her daughter to know the truth but the so-called society did not care about a child's heart. They hurt her and blamed her. The child.....

Divya was lost in her thoughts, "Did I do wrong? Was I wrong? No. I did nothing wrong. Don't worry Divya. This marriage means nothing. In your life, there is place for just one person and that is Diya. I will show that man the hell on earth. He wishes to marry me naa. I will make sure that he enjoys his married life."

Making a firm decision, Divya got up and picked her daughter. Looking at her face, she told the child, ""

The child hugged her mother and cutely told her, ""

Little did the child know, how much her mother loved her, what she had done for her and what she had to endure for her! Childhood is sweet but misleading. It shows you the version of life which doesn't​ exist in reality.
