《Bakugou X Kirishima's sister (Reader)》3. Is That Your Friend?

You rushed to the girl's locker room. You wanted to be quick and hurry back to the dorms. It wasn't like you had anything to look forward to after class, you just hated small talk and the thought of being cornered in the locker room, especially being bombarded with questions from Mina made you anxious. You loved her, but you haven't spoken to her since middle school. How were you supposed to explain why you'd been so distant for so long?

You were so close to leaving before anyone walked in, but luck was not on your side that day it seemed. Moments before you could leave the girls from your class began walking in.

"Y/N!" Mina yelled. "It's been forever since I've seen you! You look so different now." She said as she picks up a strand of your hair, staring at the vibrant color.

You chuckled slightly. "Yeah it was just time for a change. You know?" You'd forgotten the last time she saw you, your hair was just as dark as your brothers had been.

"Hey Y/N, what'd you say to Deku that made him blush so much?" an almost timid voice asked you.

You turned to see a girl with short brown hair and a round face.

"Who?" you questioned. "Who's Deku?"

"Oh sorry Midoriya. Deku's just a nickname."

"Oh him," you chuckled at the memory. "It was nothing."

"Ah, I see," she said lowly, looking slightly disappointed.

Crap. She probably has a crush on this kid and your answer didn't sit well with her. You hated how girls saw you as competition for a person you wouldn't give a second glance at. Really, there was nothing that made you any different than anyone else. So, what if people took pictures of you for ads and paid you to talk about their products. What did it matter, you were just like anyone else and it didn't make you any better. You sighed, wishing you could tell her this but knew it would come off as weird that you read her so easily.

"Really it was nothing. Just some stupid joke," you smiled at her, hoping it would ease her nerves.

She didn't look completely convinced but nodded and smiled back. You quickly said goodbye to Mina and her friend and before anyone could protest, you left the locker room rushing back to the dorms. You shook your head on your way back. Making friends might be a little more difficult than you thought. You felt your phone vibrate and checked the notification. It was your parents, they wanted to remind you that they were bringing the rest of your stuff to your dorm tonight. You couldn't hold back another sigh, you were exhausted from the physical and written tests the teachers put you through that day. You looked up and saw the bright red hair of your brother walking back to the dorms as well. You jogged up to him.

"Hey bro," you said trying to sound chipper.

He glanced down at you and sighed. "What do you want?"

"Don't sound so upset. I just wanted to know if you wanted to help me take some things up to my dorm." You spoke as nonchalantly as possible.

"No, I have better things to do with my time. Like watch paint dry."

You rolled your eyes. Sighing dramatically, you said, "I guess I'll have to ask Mina to help me. It would be a shame if I accidentally told her about your huge crus-"

"Fine. I'll help you." He said, cutting you off. "I'll see you later Bakugou."

You then noticed the boy standing next to your brother. It was the same ash blond as before. Looking at him you noticed how cute he was. Okay, that was an understatement, he was way more attractive then just cute. Bakugou. Why did that name sound so familiar?

"Alright, lets go." Your brother said pulling you from your thoughts.

As you walked you turned to your brother. "Is that your friend?" you questioned.

He sighed, again. "Why do you want to know?"

"No reason," you said a little too quickly.

He stopped now and turned to look at you. "Don't even think about it" was all he said before turning away and walking towards the dorms.

"I wasn't," You huffed, crossing your arms as you followed after him.

You found your parents standing beside the stacks of boxes they brought.

"Why do you have so much stuff?" your brother whined.

"Oh, shut up. Take a box and this will be over before you know it."

Bringing your things upstairs, your parents already had most of your furniture set up. You had a bookcase, your desk and you traded out the bed frame provided by the school with one that had drawers to put your excess amount of clothes in. Your computer was set up on the desk and a few of your books put in the bookcase.

"The last box," your brother said as he let it drop to the floor.

"Hey! Be careful with my stuff."

He rolled his eyes at you. "What's in all these boxes anyway?"

"Honestly, it's mostly clothes," you responded, opening the box beside you.

"You do know we wear uniforms?"

"Duh" you retorted. "But it wouldn't fit in my room at home, so I had to bring the rest here."

He rolled his eyes again and started to head for the door.

"Hey, Eijiro." He stopped and turned towards you. "Thanks for helping me."

He looked shocked. Your relationship definitely wasn't what it used to be and he didn't expect to hear those words from you. "No problem," his tone softer than before, dropping his head he turned back for the door.

You turned back to the box you had opened. You had a lot of work a head of you. Getting up you turned on your computer and picked one of your playlists before getting to work.

It had been a few hours since Eijiro left his sisters room and he'd met up with Sero, Denki and Bakugou to study with Mina in her room.

"Will you shut up?" Bakugou glared at Denki.

"I'm just humming" He defended himself. "I can't help it. Blame the music coming from next door."

Bakugou growled in response. Mina's room was the quietest compared to the rest of the dorm and was the reason Bakugou agreed to study with the group of friends.

"Whose room is next to yours Mina?" Denki asked.

"Actually, it's your sisters' room, Kiri." Mina said looking up at him.

"Well her music sucks," Bakugou scowled. Kirishima laughed in response. "What's so funny, shitty hair?" Bakugou growled at him.

"It's nothing" He chuckled. "I just remembered when we were younger, whenever she was mad at me, she would put her speakers up to the wall between our rooms and put on the most obnoxious music. I would get so mad. One time I went to her room to tell her to turn it off and she wasn't even there, she just left it playing to piss me off."

Mina started laughing, "I remember her telling me about that." When she finally stopped laughing, she turned to face him again. "What happened between the two of you? You guys used to be so close."

He sighed. "Honestly I don't really remember. The night before she left for America, we got into a huge argument and she left before either of us could apologize. By the time she came to visit we hadn't said a word to each other, and it just felt like we had drifted to far apart to fix what had happened."

The room had fallen silent, besides his sister's music still playing from the other side of the wall. Mina was the first to speak. "Well you're both here now. Why not try and talk it out?"

"I don't think it's that easy," he admitted.

"Well while you're trying to deal with your family problems. I'm going to tell her to shut the shitty music off." Bakugou hopped up from his spot and stormed out of the room.

You jumped as someone started to pound on your door. Who the hell could be at your room right now? And why were they so aggressive? You swung the door open, "What do you want?" Your eyes grew wide as you realized it was your brothers' friend from earlier. You quickly changed your expression of shock to one of boredom.

"Turn your fucking music down." He demanded.

You paused somewhat taken aback. You then laughed, "No."

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN NO?" He shouted. He took a step closer to you. "Turn it down. Now."

You smirked, "Make me." You began to close the door in his face but to your surprise he pushed passed you and went straight to your computer. "Hey!" you shouted.

He turned the music down and walked out and back to Mina's room without another word. Still shocked by his boldness, you closed the door and went to sit back at your desk. You weighed your options and with a smirk you turned your music up even louder than before. Yelling could be heard from next door and you couldn't stop the burst of laughter you were holding. Maybe this place wouldn't be so bad.
