Faded. I've faded into a lesser copy of myself. A burnt out cd player that keeps circling on repeat and stumbling over the same beat. Once I make it past my last milestone I press reset and can't find my way home. I'm faded off xans, weed, and percs, but nothing satisfies my thirst for eternal sleep.

Elisa Mary Grant died in a hospital bed after being stuck in it for six months, and like any other, her soul drifted away from her husk when she passed. For her, death was a release.
