And ofc I'll miss you,

After all, you were my first genuine guy friend.

one down and I don't know how many more to go,

just watched another person walk out this year who was a good friend though.

Well, he was until he didn't know how to be one,

maybe what we needed a year ago is not what we need now.

And it's easy to convince yourself that it would hurt to hold on so let them go,

never did anything bad but the good memories soon enough they'll flash up on my screen.

You'll catch me saying but we were never mean.

And with teary eyes and shaky hands,

I'm probably gonna say, memories are a part of your life, and good ones are supposed to be memorized.
