- in this world, marriage is a legal arrangement between a male and a female which is made by the government in order to maintain reproduction and divorce can only happen if there are any major domestic issues (e.g child abuse)
- keep in mind that 'love' and 'in love' have quite separate meanings, so in this world you can still have love for family members or friends

The main character grows in power as the story plays out. My characters are written to my best ability, but you may find them immature. The MC has to adjust to fighting, and killing which he struggles with for a while. His partner is a magical salamander who is a friend and mentor. The world building, monsters, and descriptions are also low tier. (I am working hard to change that!) If you are okay reading something by someone who is just getting started then welcome! I am doing my best, and incrementally improving as I go.
