Hands tightened around my neck and pain shot through me. My fingers scratched at the person but their arms were long and I had no control. Slowly I was lifted and my back was being dragged up the wall. Tears streamed and no noise could leave my body. Pain hit me from every angle. Hopes of dying made all of my surroundings shatter. My hands gave up and they laid limp at my side.
Shaking and crying I shot up in my bed and my hands grasped the duvet around me. I held onto it and the fabric was lifted up to my eyes. Tears wet the fabric and I sniffed in a deep breath. My throat wasn't sore but it was too clear that I had stopped breathing at one point.
I thought about what I could do and my phone was thought of. Picking it up the first of my contacts was called and I waited. Only I had no response. Tears fell still and I wiped at my nose.
Darkness surrounded me and I curled up as I sat and watched the door. An irrational and bothersome fear crawled through me at the sight of the door. Hands wrapped over my neck and I closed my eyes. Making my body more ball-like.
Jaren crossed my mind but flashbacks of the events of what had happened the last time I walked into his room completely unannounced.
Constant checks of the time left me on edge as I watched my sleep waste away. Nothing in the world could have made me relax and so I got to my feet quickly. Throwing all of the available caution to the metaphorical and frankly cold wind.
My hand stretched out and I went to knock but I moved to the door handle and slowly crept into the darkened room. Soft and kind snores filled the room. They sounded like a faint melody. I smiled at it and closed the door quietly. Octavia was in the corner of the room on her bed, not protecting Jaren from shit.

My legs and body were covered in the soft fabric of my jogging bottoms that were new for me. The white with black stars made me smile. The matching top was a crop top and it matched the trousers. The fluff inside was warming me and also reminding me of my peak comfort.
Climbing onto the bed and nudging Jaren I watched as Jaren twitched slightly and he pulled me closer. I laid with him while my long locks covered his bare chest. My hand then moved to his hip and I held on close. His kindness made me so happy and fear left my mind. His arms rested around me as we laid comfortably.
"Wanna talk about it?" He was a smart boy but I was a tired girl so I just snuggled in for the night. Tears dried on my face and sleep stuck in my eyes. Nothing but the thick musk of Jaren filled my senses. His skin was a warm and comfortable space.
An arm laid beneath me as the duvet was resting over my body. Another arm was hung across me. I was the little spoon in the situation and I didn't mind. My back against a chest. The arm that stretched across me was moving ever so slightly as the hand that connected to it played with my piercing.
"You found my piercing. Tell no one. I mean by the time I hit summer everyone will be able to see it." Jaren laughed and placed his face against mine. Cheek to cheek.
"Eleos. What happened?" My arms crossed to cover his. Clearly, I was uncomfortable and he could surely see it. Only, he also had the greatest desire to help me. Something I loved about him.
"Just a nightmare." The hand that had been playing with my piercing changed. The one that had been limp began to twist it as he then shifted his arm, to leave it resting on my shoulder.

"The belly button?" I laughed at his comment and closed my eyes again. Only for him to blow air on me and kiss my cheek before I was able to react. "What was it about?" I turned my body so that I was facing him and we could see one another's reactions. His arms stayed around me and they kept our bodies close.
"Pete. Anyway, thank you. I couldn't have gotten to sleep without you." His arms then stopped keeping me to him and I pouted at this. When his hand then began to rub up and down my arm. He looked ready to tell me that we needed to get up.
Then we met eyes. He stayed still and then his eyes flicked down to my lips. Something was bound to go down and I wanted it to so badly. His face seemed to lower closer to me and I licked my lips. Like a habit.
Then he pulled away. Chasing after Octavia to put her out. I stayed in his bed and let the moment settle a little longer in my mind. In truth, I just couldn't be arsed to get up and do shit.
"You can't lay there all day." His frame was seen at the door as I sat there. Like a lost old soul. Only for me to lay down and then put one hand up. Waiting for him to help me up.
"You're going to pull me down into the bed with you. No." I looked at him from the side as he stood next to the bed.
"Jaren. You can play with my piercing." He raised an eyebrow and pulled the duvet to my knees. Before pulling me up and then to the kitchen where he sat me on the side. No words spoken between either of us.
His hands set off, making me food for the morning and I watched. My eyes were pinned to him. Watching and scrutinizing his every move. To see what he was up to and how he was doing it.
Without any notice he had placed the food in the oven beside me and then he stepped into the space between my legs. His hands fell to my hips and he thrust me forward so that my body was pressed up against his. our faces inches apart and my hands rested on his shoulders.
