(Part: 1 of 8-Logan)

Logan huffed in frustration as he tried to keep focused on the schedule he was supposed to be working on for Thomas; tempted to stomp his foot and throw a tantrum with how tired he was, but knowing that would be an unlogical action, considering he was an adult.
Patton had come in to check on him a couple times, asking if he needed something to eat or drink, and each time he'd declined, saying he couldn't risk spilling anything on the schedule or his progress would be ruined.
Patton had only nodded reluctantly, a concerned look briefly appearing across his face before he left his room.
Now, thirty minutes later, his stomach growled aggressively, his head throbbed with a dull ache, and his eyes kept slowly dropping, causing him to slump against his desk tiredly.
He jolted awake when he heard himself snore, looking down at his schedule, and noticing he'd gotten drool on it.
There was only a small tear down the middle from the dampness soaking through the paper, but it was enough to distort his organized wording, and the dam holding back his flood of tears finally collapsed.
He threw himself to the floor, letting out a frustrated shriek as he started to throw a tantrum, screaming tearfully,
"Nah fair! Nah fair!"
Patton rushed in, not entirely surprised to find Logan throwing a tantrum on the floor, and attempting to call out to him calmly, knowing how much stress he was under,
"Lo, sweetheart? Can you look at me?"
Logan completely ignored whichever caregiver was speaking to him and shrieked louder, flailing his arms and legs around as he continued his tantrum, just needing to get his frustration out.
Patton crossed his arms, waiting patiently for Logan to tire himself out, knowing all of his pent up emotions were being released at the moment, and that he needed to wait until he finished getting them out on his own time, or risk an extremely rough headspace drop.

It took longer than expected, but Logan eventually started to slow his agitated movements, rolling so he could lay on his side, nuzzling his cheek against the soft material of his blue rug, and bringing a hand up to rub at his eyes tiredly, whimpering quietly,
"Lo?"
Patton coaxed out softly, smiling warmly as Logan slowly glanced towards him, his gaze focused on the shoulder of his light polo to show he was listening despite the few, reluctant sniffles still leaving his mouth.
Patton didn't mind this though, knowing that when Logan regressed he struggled to make direct eye contact.
Instead, he would look at a person's shoulder to signal he was listening to them.
He also tended to stare at people's shoes if he didn't know them well, was anxious, or uncomfortable with a situation he was currently in.
"Can I sit by you, Lo?"
Patton asked, his soft tone letting Logan know that it was completely his decision, and he would understand if he wasn't ready for physical contact quite yet.
Logan gave a brief, silent nod before nuzzling his cheek against the soft material of the rug again, letting his eyes flutter shut to try and ease the headache that was forming.
Patton beamed at the nod, moving towards him with soft, even paced steps, carefully maneuvering his body so he could sit beside Logan, without making him too antsy.
Logan peaked up at him for a couple seconds after he sat down, rubbing at his eyes again, and quietly yawning,
"How old are you, Little One?"
Patton asked with a soft coo to his tone, watching with a fond expression as Logan blinked owlishly for several seconds before holding up 3 fingers, pausing, and changing it to two fingers before looking away, watery sniffles starting up once more,
"Sowwy..."
Came a very soft voice, making Patton tilt his head, and ask gently,

"For what, Little One?"
Logan sat up a little, trying to hold back the need to stim with his fingers, clenching and unclenching his fingers anxiously, seeming unable to find the words while doing so.
Patton noticed this and quickly stood so he could retrieve Logan's comfort item from the bed, before offering it to him.
Logan eagerly snatched it from his hands, cheeks turning pink and warming slightly, when he heard his caregiver clear his throat,
"Tank you... Ummm..."
Logan fidgeted with the soft toy gratefully as he tried to figure out how to word what he wanted to say, eyes darting around in anxious worry as he spoke,
"I... I sowwy I thwowed a tamptrum..."
Patton's smile grew a bit sad as he noticed one of Logan's anxious tics, something he did when he felt worried or unsure of something.
He knew Logan feared his rare, but aggressive tantrums would eventually push his caregivers away, and would apologize profusely while regressed, usually unable to truly relax because he was so anxious they would be upset with him and not acknowledge how much he truly loved them.
Being so vulnerable with everyone was something he still struggled with, and unfortunately caused it to come out in the form of aggressive tantrums.
Once Logan was back to his older headspace, he would beg whoever had witnessed the tantrum to tell him what had happened or if he'd hurt any of them in the process.
The one time they did tell Logan what happened during a tantrum, he refused to regress for several months, finally resulting in a major meltdown that had him permanently regressed for almost a full month in the youngest headspace he'd ever gone into.
It was absolutely terrifying for all of them, and since then, they refused to tell Logan what happened; letting him throw his tantrums for as long as he needed to get all his pent up emotions out.
Hoping it would help prevent his headspace from dropping so drastically ever again.
Patton slowly placed a gentle hand on top of Logan's trembling one, feeling the little flinch slightly, though he made no attempt to push it away,
"Lo, I'm not upset with you. I promise. I know this is scary for you. But none of us are going to leave you, ever."
Logan looked up at Patton, his expression heartbreaking as he made grabby hands towards him.
Patton carefully scoop Logan onto his lap, swaying slightly, and softly try to hush his tears, gently running his fingers up and down his back to calm him,
"I've got you, Little One. No more tears, just rest your eyes. It's going to be ok, I promise."
Patton coaxed, his tone caring and full of love as he continued to rock Logan gently, beginning to hum a soft lullaby, and smiling softly when he felt Logan nuzzle a little closer.
He stood as carefully as he could without jostling Logan too much, who still whimpered at the sudden movement, only to be softly shushed as Patton delicately kissed his forehead, wrapping his space themed blanket around his shoulders to swaddle him, and holding him close, continuing to hum and rock gently; only pausing to quietly ask,
"Do you want your paci, Little One?"
Logan sleepily nodded and opened his mouth a little to allow Patton to slip it into his mouth, suckling gently once it closed, and leaning his head against Patton's chest gently as he started to drift off to the soft melody of his caregiver's humming thrumming through his chest soothingly, smiling faintly when he heard him softly coo,
"Goodnight, Little Star. Sweet dreams."
