Aricka ran into class the day after she got home, and her and Rae crashed into each other, laughing and squealing. "RAE!" she exclaims. "I missed you."

"I missed you too," her best friend in the whole world replied. "Where did you go for break? I went to California!"

"I went to Disney World to celebrate my adoption!"

"Oh that's right! Do you have pictures?" they sat next to each other during free time and looked through her phone at pictures. "Peter looks like he was so cool to hang out with!"

"He was," Aricka says, and touches the pipe necklace he got her. "He got me this for Christmas."

A new boy walks up to them. He has black hair and blue eyes. "Hi, I'm Damien, I just moved here from London," he says, and Aricka smiles at him.

"Hi Damien."
