I walk in and see groups of kids everywhere. I felt like a fish out of water. But Logan said that this school had a skating team, a music competition, and a good theater group.
A boy with brown hair walks over to me. "Hi, I'm Troye, are you new?" I nod.
"Aricka Sanders, nice to meet you." Troye smiles at me.
"Come hang out with my friends and I-we're the so-called "freaks," he says.
"I'm a freak, too. Being a freak is pretty cool," I say with a smile, and follow him over. There was a good group of kids-some girls, but mostly guys-all at a long rectangle table in the corner.
"Hey guys, this is Aricka, she's new," Troye says. They all look up and wave, but one of them caught my eye. He had green hair and blue eyes. I went and sat by him.
"Hi, I'm Aricka." he jumps.
"Hiya. I'm Sean, but you can call me Jack." I nod.
"So, Jack-what do you like to do?"
"I like to make videos and share them on YouTube." we start talking about YouTube, acting, and other things. Suddenly, the bell rings. "What's your first class?" I look at my schedule.
"Homeroom with Mr. Styles."
"Me too!" he exclaims, and I can't stop my giggle-he's so hyper, it's funny.

*Time skip*
"So, Thomas Sanders adopted you. What's that like?" Mark asks, at lunch.
"He's really cool, I love it. He took me to the zoo once." Well, technically-it was Patton who took me, via the Imagination. "My favorite animals are lions." Roman and I could talk for hours about lions. "I bought a black jacket at the gift shop, and a book about endangered species." the jacket was for Virgil, and Logan and I read the book together-he helped me with the harder to pronounce words.

"That must've been so fun!" Dodie exclaims. "I love Thomas-I did a cover of one of his songs from his Ultimate Storytime. It was amazing!" we talked about random things, from the weather to who our favorite Harry Potter character was.

Roman was the one who picked me up today. "Heya, Aricka," he greets as I hop into the car. "Good news?" I grin, and reply.
"Yes! I made a whole bunch of friends that are as crazy as me!"

Follow along Amethyst and her "adopted" child as they adapt to changing fantasy world with advancing technology, a diverse range of beings like elves and arachne, and the destructive power of monsters and other demons. And of course, they can't just be left to their own devices cause the world is set to turn into an intolerable hellscape if no one does anything about it. Not even Amethyst wants that to happen. *Author's note: this story is a work in progress meaning chapters may get deleted, editing will happen, and chapter releases will be irregular as I'm doing this just for fun. Plus this is my first time working on this sort of thing. So if you're ok with all of that, read along. Of course, comments and feedback are always welcome. This is a story about a homeless genius who gets taken somewhere totally different from where he went to sleep. He uses his talents not only to understand his environment, but eventually, maybe even conquer it? Explore the mystery, action, and psychological theory with our main character as the world gets totally flipped upside down and he has to find his way through!

A lawyer, along with ten thousand other people, is kidnapped by the Heavenly Demon of Decay to participate in a campaign against the Monarch of Everglades. The Heavenly Demon of Decay, has chosen these ten thousand people to be the captains of his 100 man squads, saying that beings of lower realms are easier to boost temporarily. Our lawyer didn’t complain much at that. A generic hero summoned to another world setting, he thought. And as he didn’t have any family or much attachment to his previous world, he even liked his situation. But that was until he found out, that the “Heavenly Demon of Decay” was a necromancer. And that he along with millions of other humans, and various beings, were processed into undead soldiers. ‘Well fuck!’, he thought. And after being equipped with high quality equipment, and being robbed of his free will, he marched, along with billions of other horrifying undead, against the Monarch of the Everglades. But his poor luck didn’t end there. The Heavenly Demon of Decay, and his army lost. But the worst part was, they left him behind while retreating. Now, he is stuck behind in a huge jungle, full of various monsters, where every moment he must struggle for his life. But isn’t he already dead? This thought only serves to incense him further. But that is not all to his story, he finds that he is in a different, more powerful world, where wizards, warriors, dragons, dungeons but most importantly “CULTIVATION” exists. Albeit not very Chinese, but cultivation nonetheless. But, can a skeleton even cultivate? Not a native english speaker. So don't expect impeccable grammar. Although I do try my best, this is also my first novel so pointers are appreciated. Haters, just stop reading if you don't like it. Please don't spoil my mood by evil comments.
