"Hey, glad you guys came back," Thomas says. "Aricka, we need to talk."
My heart dropped.
They were going to send me back. I run and hug Roman, and cry,
"NO DON'T SEND ME BACK! THAT'S MY BIGGEST FEAR! PLEASE DON'T MAKE ME GO BACK!" Roman hugged me just as tightly, whispering something I couldn't make out. (.)
"Hey-no-we're not sending you back, kiddo." Patton puts his hand on my shoulder. "We're not going to do that. We need to tell you something else."
Roman lets me sit on his lap, and I wipe a few tears away. Thomas continues. "You know about the Sanders Sides, right?" I nod.
"Morality, Logic, Anxiety, and Princey. Princey and Anxiety are my favorite." I hear a giggle, and ask, "Why, Thomas?"
"You're sitting on Princey's lap," Patton says. I jump, then relax.
"That's it? You guys are real? YOU MADE ME THINK YOU'RE GOING TO SEND ME BACK AND you just told me this?" I ask, grinning. "This is the coolest thing EVER! I knew you were real! I just knew it!" We were all laughing now. "Holy cow this is AWESOME!"
"So-do you want to see the Mind Palace?" Roman asks. (They each have rooms outside of the Mind Palace, as well as in it.) I nod. "Who do you want to take you?" I look around.
"Logan," I answer. "Logan and Virgil." the two look surprised at first, but Virgil nods, and Logan answers,
"Sure." I slip of Roman's lap, and walk over to Virgil, and take his hand.

The next thing I know, we're in the Mind Palace. "Wow," I exclaim, and walk around, turning in circles. I trip and fall back into Roman's arms.
"Careful, Princess," he says. I blush and nod. ()

Don’t worry though, even the poor are born with at least one skill or spell that could help them in life, apart from the basic mana skills that everyone is born with. Usually these skills and spells are passed down from a parent. Of course, that doesn't mean they can use it. Any skills from birth are locked and unusable to start. Unlockable through great effort and practise, something many are unable to do without some guidance. There is another much quicker way however, through gaining experience from killing monsters and using that experience to unlock it. Adam is a human summoned to this world from earth. What effect can he have on this world when he is given a skill that he knows can be used to help many people, with the desire to do just that. Unfortunately it won't be so easy, as there are many obstacles in his way. It’s a cruel world, but he will have help and doesn’t have to do it alone as he meets new companions and makes friends along the way. Lianna is another human from earth who is summoned the same time as Adam. Though things go much differently for her as she is quickly enslaved, beaten and tortured. Unable to understand what her enslavers are telling her, she has a difficult time following through with the commands given to her. Forced to fight creatures and level up against her will.
