Y/N's P.O.V
I look at the three sins who have just told my brother and I, their news about their Sacred Treasures. Harlequinn gasps, covering his mouth with his fist, "No way!! The Sacred Treasures, entrusted to us by the King of Liones we were knighted as the Eight Deadly Sins, were... Sold?!" He looks at Meliodas.
Meliodas gives us his lazy smile as he rubs the back of his head and gives us an ok sign, "I needed the money for the bar... About 50 gold coins," He tells us.
"And yours," I look at Ban who is leaning over Hawk, drunk as hell, "Stolen?"
"When I was locked up in that prison," Ban explains with a big smile and his face flustered from al the ale he's had this evening.
Harlequinn looks at Diane, determined to get to the bottom of it but his demeanour instantly changes when he sees her blushing, eyes glassy with tears and hiding behind her pigtails, "Am...Am I a bad girl?" She asks him.
"If...If you lost it, then there was nothing you could do about it!" Harlequinn says.
"But how did you lose it?" I ask and Harlequinn glares at me so I raise my hands in defence, "By the way... Brother," I look at him seriously, "Why did Elaine say you abandoned the fairy forest?"
"Well... Hm..." He starts flying back so I follow, "I hmm... Why did you leave and make us forget!?"
"Demons would have killed everyone if I didn't," I answer and keep following him, "You can't run from me King, answer me!"
"I went after my best friend who was taken from humans and I lost my memory!" He tells me.
"Okay," I fly back to everyone with him behind, "Still, unacceptable."
"Hey, King... Y/N, don't get so upset over a weapon or two," Hawk says and we look at him, "They're not on my level, but they're pretty good even without any weapons."
"If they were on your level I'd be worried who my mate is," I mumble.
Meliodas leans against me, "So I'm still your mate?" He smirks.

"Mister Pig," Harlequinn says and I look at my younger brother, ignoring Meliodas, "Let's say this lake is the power of one of the sins, if you use your palm, how much water would you be able to scoop?"
I scoop up some water with my hand and it instantly pours off my palm, "No matter how much power you have, with just your bare hands, this is what you get," I fly above the lake, "But if you use a weapon," I whistle and my Nightshadefol in a scythe form appears in my hands, "You'd be able to take a great about of the power they hold," I point my scythe to the lake and draw out a large water ball into the sky, "But, Meliodas uses a weapon, which is good but it's nothing compared to what those who have a Sacred Treasure can do."
"Sacred Treasures are pretty awesome," Meliodas comments.
Hawk grabs Meliodas's collar and starts shaking him, "How could you get rid of something so valuable!!" Hawk yells and Meliodas chuckles.
"There's no point talking about something you've already lost, but we have to look for the Sacred Treasures along with the other members," Harlequinn says and I land beside Meliodas.
"Anyway," Meliodas says, "What's going on with the Kingdom right now? Why did the Holy Knight stage a Coup D-Etat all of a sudden? Y/N did you hear anything in Baste?"
"I don't know for sure," Harlequinn says, "But, I do know that something strange is happening to the Holy Knights, instead of protecting the people, they look like they're focusing on preparing for war and the castle itself is on extreme high-alert as well."
"I heard something from the Weird Fangs mem-" I start to say but was instantly cut off.
"Are my father and my sister alright?!" Elizabeth questions.
"Um... I'm sorry... I wasn't there in person so I don't know," Harlequinn says.
"Y/N what were you going to say?" Hawk says.
"I heard something from the Weird Fangs members, about something to do with something changing inside the Holy Knights ranks as well as something from one of the Holy knight Apprenticeships once that he was once weak and then he was stronger than his class the next day," I say.

"Did he say how?" Meliodas asks.
"He was more interested in seeing me in rags and daydreaming about what he'd do to me than having a conversation," I answer, "But all of sudden he disappeared."
"That Holy Knight who followed us in the Necropolis was an apprentice Holy Knight who was rather weak a couple of days ago... Would you believe it?" Harlequinn says.
"Come on everyone, time for bed," Meliodas says and stands up taking my hand, "Come on you," He walks and I fly beside him, "That's just being lazy."
"I've been locked up for 9 years, so sue me," I say as we go to our room.
I sit on the bed and I watch him walking to his chest of draws, "Do you have anything to change into?" He asks.
"Nope, nothing," I shake my head.
"Can you retract your wings?" Meliodas asks and I shake my head.
There's a knock on the door, "Come in," I say and Harlequinn flies in, "I thought you might not have anything to sleep in so..." He hands me a red silk nightgown, "Seems you've forgotten how to make clothes from nature," He smiles a little at me then turns to Meliodas, "Why am I sharing with Ban?"
"Only place we have left, you're not bunking in with the Princess and it's too cold for you to sleep outside," Meliodas says.
"Captain," Harlequinn says and we look at him, "When Y/N made us forget... Why were you more than willing to defend us even though you were just a Knight?"
Meliodas looks at me slightly and I wink, going behind the changing privacy screen in the room and I change into the red silk nightgown that goes to my midthigh and the back is low cut to the bottom of my back, "Because I knew you'd be needing your sister more than me," Meliodas says.
"Thank you, I know she probably hasn't sais it to you but she is grateful you shielded us and went to risk your life to protect a race that isn't even yours," Harlequinn says and I stay behind the screen.
"I know she is, I'd do it again and again if it means I could save the people she loved more than herself," Meliodas says and I smile at his words.
"Anyway, I'll leave you both to it," Harlequinn says, "Oh, and I don't want any nieces or nephews just yet," He laughs and I hear the door open and shut.
I step out from behind the screen, "He doesn't know?" Meliodas asks not looking at me.
"No... Did I do wrong? I just thought you'd prefer to tell him," I say walking to him and holding his hand.
Meliodas looks at me and looks me over before smiling, "It's completely fine love," He leans in and pecks my lips, "You look lovely."
I smile at him and walk to the window looking out at the night sky. I hear clothes being discarded and dropped on the floor, "You can turn around you know," Meliodas says and he wraps his arms around my waist, "What are you thinking about?"
"Hoping that history doesn't repeat itself, in more ways than one," I place my hands on his as I look at the moon, "So beautiful."
"Y/N, can you tell me more about what's happening to these Holy Knight apprentices?" Meliodas asks.
"They're called the New Generation, any apprentice who was a run-of-the-mill Holy Knight apprentice with barely any power, they suddenly starting to appear. They were mentioned before the Coup D-Etat happened I think... I think it's something happening inside the ranks fo the Holy Knights, but I cannot be so sure."
"Sounds fishy either way," Meliodas says, "Thanks honey," He kisses my cheek, "Get into bed, it's been so long since you were in my arms."
I smile at him and I get into bed with Meliodas, "Meliodas," I say and he hums wrapping his arms around me as I rest my head on his chest, "I've missed you so much."
"I'm glad," He kisses my head, "Even without my memories I knew I had strong feelings for you," He tells me and i smile as I start falling asleep.

Berodyl stood ready to aid the gods in their strife, but when the time came, the armies of this world never heard the call. They never even saw the battlefield. No. Instead, they found that, once the war had begun, the hierophants no longer heard the whispers of their sacred deities whom they had served so faithfully; only silence now filled the halls of their temples. Some even came from beyond Berodyl’s firmament to take to the sides of those who would fight for the gods. Alas, they soon found themselves stranded in a land abandoned— now, too, abandoned themselves. Now there is but one question weighing down on everyone: can a world such as this - a world once loved, now alone - survive with nought but its own?
