"Change of plans" I said coming in taking a seat on the couch. With that being said all my men surrounded me. "Wassup boss" my right hand said. His name was Bobby. I grew up around Bobby and his family when I was younger. He was always a troubled child. He had his reasons though. He didn't have a lot of money so he wore dirty clothes and at times he came to my house, because he wasn't being fed.
Shit I didn't have much either so by the time we was 8 me and bobby had made a pretty good name in the streets for our hood. We was known as the "stick em boys". Shit we would take your shit in front of your face if we really wanted it. From going into everybody shit I found a gun and we was really on than. By the time we was 13 bobby got arrested for murder. His father was abusive, to his moms but here's the catch bobby didn't shoot his father I did. We got rid of the body and the gun and till this day that man body is still missing. When the police came to arrest us bobby took the charges. He told the police I had nothing to do with it. He pled guilty and they charged him with self defense so that's man slaughter. He had to do 5 years max. When he got out I was there for him. It was my duty to take care of him and that's what I did. It's like I owed him a favor. I would die for him just like he would die for me. When you make a friend living a lifestyle like this, it's all part of the game.
"Don't call me boss" I said to bobby. He did that shit to get on my nerves knowing being in charge ain't really what I like to do. I just like shit done right you feel me ? Sloppy work never gets the job done. "Whatever you say boss" Bobby said laughing. "Aight comedy ass nigga" I said "but on the real though girl said she know where some dope and some money is" I said. Honestly, I wasn't trying to break bread with nun of these niggas, but Bobby. At the end of the day he money motivated like I am and shit that's my mans these other niggas are just here. Shit for what's about to come to the table I'll put a bullet in all these niggas heads. I'm just trying to split my money 2 ways not 8.

"Lets go get that shit" Bobby said holding his guns in the air. "I'm working on a address" I said to bobby pushing his guns out the air "until than you control yourself" I said looking at Bobby. He smacked his lips "Man what you talm bout' I know how to control myself" he said laughing out loud. "No for real she told me you hit her in the face with the gun she can't be loosing any blood she pregnant" I said reminding him. "Man fuck that bitch she was trying to run for the door we ain't her fucking babysitters my nigga we ain't no mother-fuckin body guards we are here for 1 reason and that is to get paid all that other shit is irrelevant" he said swiping his hand dismissing what I told him. "We ain't no woman beaters either" I said making him think about the past. "Man fuck that I ain't shit like that nigga don't ever try to compare me to a nothing ass nigga" he said leaving out the door. "Anyways do anyone else got some to say" I said. Everyone else shook they head no except for Pedro. Pedro came along with me and Bobby later in the years. He reminded me of myself when I was younger. He do little shit for me so he can feed his daughter. The pay must be good, because he is one loyal guy. I keep him close and when nikki boy friend come and make the play Pedro won't be here. I don't want to see nothing happening to him. His daughter needs him. "Okay Pedro I got it for now on" I told him. I walked outside with bobby he was puffing a cigarette "them shits gone kill you" I told him. "Don't come out here preaching I ain't trying to hear it" he said putting the cigarette out. "Yea I see you put it out" I said. "Yea yea now tell me how much money we talking" he said getting to the point. "300,000" I said. Bobby eyes got wide "300 k" he said "let me off these other niggas cause I ain't splitting my money 8 ways" he added. I laughed. "I was thinking the same thing my guy" I said confessing. I guess greedy mother-fuckas think alike.

"What about girl" Bobby said. "Who Kayla" I asked. "Nah Morgan duh Kayla nigga what's gone happen to you and her" bobby said. "Nothing is going to happen you already know how we move once all this is done everything is done and plus the sex is good, but I can't trust her she talk to much and that's not good for business she gave up her best friend she been knowing this girl for how long just imagine how quick she would give me up to the next person" I said being honest. "Kayla cool and all, but her loyalty is not where it's at when the time come I'll let her know the move, but for now I'm a just play my cards right till everything plays out" I added.
"Don't fuck this up Romeo" he said joking "we better get paid" he said lighting up another cigarette.
"You should of been a damn comedian you know that right" I said laughing smacking his cigarette out his hand.
"Nigga the fuck" he said smacking the cigarette dust off his shirt "you a messy bitch that shit almost burnt my lip" he said trying to play fight.
"Boy watch out I don't want to have to beat your ass" I said laughing "but on the real when we do get paid you better not waste your fucking money on them shits" I added.

There is no way that this was happening. Were they joking? Or was I having another nightmare? This made no sense.Tears welled up in my eyes at mom's statement. My eyes snapped to Adrian and he already was staring at me with intense eyes. I looked away from him and at my mom. I saw her slam the contract on the table. "Now sign this sweetheart." Her words dripped like rotten and tasteless honey. I spun my head towards the table and again gazed at an opened page of the contract. I read the page slowly as my eyes shifted between the words, not believing it. It was a contract, a small one that had no other information than it stated that I had to marry Adrian. It was signed by Mr and Mrs Hayes, Adrian and both of my parents. My eyes darted back to my mom and shook my head in disapproval. No way was I agreeing to this disaster. •-•-•-•-•-•-•-• -WARNINGS-• This book contains strong scenes of abuse. • Please take caution as some scenes may be too harsh for the audience to read.• All rights are owned by @PurplezBubble.Cover by @the_vampgal
