Gracie went to school as usual the next day. But before she entered the school gate, she took out her phone.
Hey
Holy crap you texted me first you finally love me back😘
Just...no
How many points do you have now
Duck
I have like...2?
Oh my god you suck
Well SORRY YOU ARE THE ONE WHO GIVES THE POINTS
Okay anyways
You ignored me TT
Meet me at the cafe this afternoon right after school
...
WHAT?!
DID U
DID YOU JUST-
I-
Bye
Ignoring Chengcheng, Gracie sighed in relief after putting her phone back in her pocket. At this moment she noticed someone walking towards the school gate.
"Nongnong..." she wanted to call his name, but after remembering what happened last night, she held back her words.
"He probably hates me now..." Gracie thought, her heart hurts at the thought.
"Hey Gracie." Unexpectedly, Linong greeted her. She widened her eyes.
"Nongnong, you..." she asked hesitantly.
"What?" He asked back.
"You aren't mad at me? Don't you hate me now?" She questioned. He looked confused for a second, but then knew what she was talking about.
"I've thought about it, Gracie. I don't think our friendship should end here, especially when you're such a nice person and our friendship lasted for so long." Linong explained, and paused a bit.
"Having a friend is better than having an enemy, right? Even if we're just normal classmates from now on." He smiled cutely.
"Yeah, r-right..." Gracie forced a smile and answered. She is completely shocked.
"I'll go first, see you later!" He exclaimed happily, and left.
Gracie felt her heart hurt at the sudden change of her best friend, wait no, classmate. They're only classmates now.
Now, she only hoped that school will end as soon as possible so she could leave.

The school bell rang, and Gracie quickly got up from her seat. She grabbed her bag and left the classroom almost immediately right after the class is dismissed.
Nothing much happened though. Its just that she could no longer chat with Linong and get scolded by the teacher together, and no one to hang out with during classes.
Linong looked fine with it, but Gracie was definitely not.
She walked all the way to the cafe. When she arrived, Chengcheng is already waiting for her.
"Hey baby girl." Chengcheng winked as Gracie sat down on the opposite side of the table.
"Hi" Gracie sighed, surprisingly not rolling her eyes or anything else.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"I lost my best friend." Gracie answered, expressionless.
"You mean...Nongnong?" Chengcheng questioned, unconsciously bringing his hand up to his face, touching the injuries on his face.
"Yeah...are the injuries recovering?" she said, looking at Chengcheng.
"Yeah, they're recovering well. Just can't take beautiful selfies for these 2 weeks. " He smiled.
"Oh..." She nodded.
"Here's your blueberry cheesecake" the waitress came over to put down a plate and left.
"I ordered this before you came. You can have it" Chengcheng explained, pushing the plate towards Gracie.
"You're not eating it?" Gracie asked, looking confused.
"I don't want to" He laughed a bit, before starting to cough.
"You're sick?" She questioned, worried.
"Sore throat." Chengcheng answered.
"I see..." Gracie nodded, before starting to eat.
"Why did you want to meet me today?" Chengcheng asked.
"Ah? Nothing special...it's just that..." She hesitantly answered.
"What is it?" He leaned forward.
"Now that we're still playing the game... can you try to get all those points as soon as possible?" Gracie put down her fork and asked.

"Huh?!" He widened his eyes.
"I mean- I want to move on from Nongnong as soon as possible and... the only way is...you. You're the one who made me feel something special so..."
"You..." Chengcheng looked at her.
"Well...I can just cancel the game but I wouldn't" Gracie explained.
"No!! Continue the game but..." He cut her off, but then paused.
"But?" She questioned.
"I may not be able to make it. I can't make it." He said quietly, almost whispering in the last sentence.
"What?" Gracie asked, a bit surprised.
"I..." Chengcheng was about to explained, then his phone buzzed. He took out his phone to check his texts.
He sighed as he stood up.
"Sorry Gracie...I just want to say that..."
"I really really really really really like you."
He walked out of the cafe.
