《The Uchiha (Itachi Twin Sister// Naruto Fan-fiction)》Chapter 15 [Bond?]

"My name is Aki. That's Shiro and Kiyoshi." A girl with her hair tied in a messy bun smiled, pointing at Shiro and Kiyoshi. Shiro had blonde hair and was tallest, most muscular of them all while Kiyoshi had black hair, he seemed to be a very quiet kind of person.
"Let's use this hour to learn something before heading off to the mission." Aki said after they had me change into my uniform.
We sat down on the ground before Aki started explaining their strength and weaknesses.
Aki was good at ninjitsu, Shiro was a taijutsu person while Kiyoshi was good with swords. Captain was a genjutsu user.
"Are there any formations?" I asked, glancing over at Aki expecting her to be answering since she answered all questions I had earlier.
"Formations? Never had those, not when you go on missions with Captain." Shiro laughed, falling on the ground, looking up at the sky.
"A few tricks you can escape the enemy if you're about to get killed." Aki stated, demonstrating with Kiyoshi. I nodded in acknowledgement.
"You can have all that escaping skills but interfere with Captain and you're dead." Shiro laughed again. He was definitely the type of person to not to pay attention in anything.
Everyone seemed to get serious all of a sudden. They were like total different people. "Never ever interfere with Captain's intentions."
Taken aback I only nodded.
"That was the only thing you needed to teach her." I heard captain's voice.
Once again I was taken aback, I immediately jumped, standing up. So she heard? She didn't seem mad at their statement at all. She even seem to acknowledge what they were saying... Just who is she?
"Our mission is to deliver this scroll to squad waiting for us near the sand. On the way, it's assumed we'll be encountering hundreds of shinobi and we'll have to do what we do best." Captain said, putting on her mask. With the rest following her as we left the gates of konoha.

From afar, you could see a united team, jumping from tree to tree together as one in a shockingly fast speed.
It was a peaceful for the first half of the journey before a big group of ninjas came to take the scroll away. There were about a hundred.
Smirking under her mask, Itsuko stopped all of a sudden, her legs, hands and her whole body shaking. Half the group surrounded her, not knowing who was under that mask.
The rest stopped slightly in front of her, not giving a care about her but Yuki looked back. Just then, two ninjas came her way to finish Yuki off, since she couldn't see them from behind.
"Yu!" Aki yelled, eliminating the two that were going to kill Yuki. Yuki turned her head, wide eyed by what could've happened to her. "Pay attention! Ko can handle."
Yu was Yuki's name during missions while Ko belonged to Itsuko. Aki's was Ki, Kiyoshi's was Yo and Shiro's was Ro. It was something their Captain suggested back then on their first mission when their own names were troublesome to be used on missions.
Itsuko stood there, shaking, not even moving a finger. Yuki and Kiyoshi on the other hand started moving around, killing a few with her katana she recieved from the anbu. Aki and Shiro were killing off with big grin on their faces, yelling around of how the enemy were weak.
When more went towards a shaking Itsuko laughing, then Itsuko suddenly stopped, causing them to get on guard.
"Wind style: Illusional bond." She whispered.
"What was that brat?" One spouted, only to be the first to die.
She took off her mask, revealing her face, with her left sharingan which had a shroud of gold chakra surrounding it. She threw her mask upon calling out for Kiyoshi, for him to catch the mask. She'd need it for other fights.

Kiyoshi caught the mask while the enemy stared in fear. One of them even wet his pants. The enemy were wearing armoured uniforms. It helped reduce injuries or chances of death.
But in the end they all died. The armoured uniform wasn't strong enough, not when going up against Itsuko's Wind style: Illusional bond.
"So weak." Itsuko said in annoyance, putting her mask back on before continuing on their journey.
Yuki starred at Itsuko with sparkling eyes of admiration that contained a slight bit of confusion. The rest acted like it was completely normal. After all, she has always been so strong. Only those who haven't seen her in action would be surprised.
Before arriving at the place where they'd hand over the scroll, they had to kill about a few more batches of shinobi who came after the scroll.

"This is your share." Itsuko said, giving out money to the team. "So questions Yuki?"
"No...actually, may I ask about the gold stuff at your left eye and your right eye?" Yuki said, slowly trailing off.
Just as she finished, the rest immediately turned their heads to Yuki, wide eyed. Yuki crossed the line... Those were the one question they never dared to bring up.
Itsuko took off her mask taking a glance at Yuki. "Are you sure you want to question that?"
"Captain. I noticed on the mission, Yuki's way of holding her katana is very odd." Aki suddenly brought up, to change the topic everyone presumed.
"I noticed." Itsuko said, putting her mask back on, looking away from them.
"If it's not alright I'll just-" Yuki said nervously, her voice shaking slightly.
"No. It's fine. The way I hold my own katana is different from everyone else, as long as it's comfortable. If katana isn't your type of weapon you're allowed to use others as long as I'm still captain." Itsuko said firmly, turning to head back to konoha. The rest followed after her.
Even such a simple mission took them a day to complete and it would take another day before they return back to konoha.
Of course it was odd, I taught her that back when she was a kid.
Back then when I visited, she would always take my katana and play around. So one day, I decided to teach her how to hold it. I taught her my way of holding it which was never similar with everyone else but I believe it's more effective.
It was my old way of holding my katana. Soon after I discovered another way that suited me better so I changed.
'She probably doesnt remember anything but I'm surprised she remembers that.' The thought of it caused me to chuckle in happiness.

The Oresteia (Modernized)
All three of the great Greek Tragedians have written plays about the bloody chain of murder and revenge within the royal family of Argos. Yet theirs is in fact not a story of tragedy, but rather one of redemption. As they move from darkness to light, from rage to self-governance, from primitive ritual to civilized institution, their spirit of struggle and regeneration becomes an everlasting song of celebration to be heard throughout the ages. Forming a discourse set against the emergence of Athenian democracy out of a period of chaos and destruction, the Orestian plays are compelling stories of the tensions between our obligations to our families and the laws that bind us together as a society. In the beginning, we witness how a king’s decision to sacrifice his daughter and turn the tide of war inflicts lasting damage on his family, culminating in a terrible act of retribution. In the aftermath of regicide, we behold how a son must set out to avenge his father’s death by committing a most egregious sin. In the end, the sinner is tormented by supernatural powers that can never be appeased, but ultimately finds redemption and ends the curse on his house once and for all. Woven through all of this is the story of a friendship so close that it elevates itself to brotherhood - Where the blood of the covenant is shown to be indeed thicker than the water of the womb. In this very brief twelve-chapter modern rendition of the Orestian plays, I have chosen to place my focus mainly on the lives of the characters Orestes and his best friend Pylades. The chapters, each around 2000-2500 words, are split up evenly between them in first-person narrative. I hope that you will come to enjoy reading this heartwarming story, but more importantly, that you see how the conflicts portrayed in the story, whether human or institutional, are still much very relevant to our societies today. Note on Sources: The details of this story is very loosely based on The Oresteia by Aeschylus. And I mean very loosely. Other sources that I referenced for detail and inspiration are Mythology by Edith Hamilton, Electra by Sophocles, and Iphigenia in Tauris by Euripides. You may also find that I have quoted some of these works, and others (such as Shelley's Ozymondaeus), without citations (average of 1-2 such quotes per chapter). I did this because I do not have the ability to describe certain scenes nearly as well as some of those writers. If you read a particularly beautiful piece of prose here, chances are it's probably stolen lol. Also, I wrote this during the summer between my high school senior year and my college freshmen year. It was the summer of 2020, and being quarantined apparently gets my creative side out lol.
