I finally reached the destination that our date was held at and surprisingly, I wasn't nervous. I arrived the entrance of the coffee shop and once I opened the door, the smell of warm coffee beans filled my nostrils. I looked around the room and my eyes landed on the person I was looking for. 

I smiled brightly up at him and said "Hey Caleb." He engulfed me in a friendly hug and we both sat back down at the booth.

"You look great." He said as he looked me up and down.

"Thank you." I said as we both began to slide into the booths. There were two menus placed on the table. After a series of laughs, Caleb and I decided on something to pick.

"My name is Janice and I will be your waiter for the day, Are you two ready to order." The waitress said with a smile.

"Yes. I would like a cappuccino along with a bagel." Caleb said.

"And what would you like?" The waiter said to me as she looked at me in the eyes.

"I would like a caramel frappuccino and two chocolate chip cookies." I said with a smile on my face. We both handed the waiter back the menus. My phone rang and I looked at the caller I.D. and it said hubby. What the hell I said in my mind. It was Alex because there was also a picture of Alex getting cozy next to my sleeping form. Not cool I thought. I will definitely have to talk to him later. I just ignored the call. My phone then rung again and saw it was Alex so I just put my phone on silent.

"Shouldn't you get that." Caleb questioned.

"I'm sure it's nothing." I said. For the next 15 minutes, Caleb couldn't stop making me laugh. We had tasted each others drinks and everything seemed to be going great. Caleb looked behind me and stopped laughing. His eyes widened.

"Caleb?" I said as I snapped my fingers in front of his face. Before I could looked behind me someone had slid into the same booth I was in. Our bodies were flushed together and a strong warm hand wrapped around my waist tightly. I looked beside me and there was Alex.

"Baby, I have been calling you all day and you haven't been answering. Why are you here with him." He said with possessiveness lacing his voice as he glared at Caleb, and kept his head in the crook of my neck. I tried to pry my body away from him, but he seemed to be stronger. I gave up and decided to respond to his question.

"I put my phone on silent." I said.

"Why?" He said angrily.

Caleb interrupted reminding us of his presence and said, "Are you two in a relationship?" I noticed the disappointed look on his face and before I could answer, Alex answered for me.

"Yes so fuck off." He growled lowly and tightened his grip on me. I looked at Caleb and he had a sad look on his face.

Before I could answer Caleb left to go pay for the food and began to leave the cafe.

"Wait Caleb." I yelled after him, but he was already out the door. I did try to get up, but Alex kept holding me down. Poor Caleb I thought.
