《Hamilton One Shots》Stormy Night (Jamilton)

I click the remote. Yes Netflix, I'm still here... then I hear a crash from the side of my house. What would that come from? Probably a robber. I grab the nearest weapon I can find, a baseball bat.
I creep around the outside of the house , only to find that it's not a robber, it's my coworker Alexander Hamilton. He despises me, but I have started to develop a crush on him. But back to the situation. What the hell was he doing outside my house? He hasn't seen me yet, it's too loud for him to hear me come up behind him. Oh, did I mention that there was a raging storm going on? It looked like he had fallen, and hadn't made any effort to get back up. What do I do?
"H-Hamilton?" At this he turns and sees me.
"J-Jefferson...what do you want?" Was he... crying?
"Are you ok?" I asked gently.
"Why do you care?"
"Well you are right next to my house".
"Oh, t-this is your house?" He said, embarrassed.
"Yea, do you need any help?"
"N-n-no... I-I'm f-fine" He stuttered. Obviously he wasn't.
"Let's get you out of the cold". I easily lifted him off the ground and led him into my house. I set him on the couch and went to brew some tea. When I returned with the mugs, he was curled into a ball sobbing. My breath caught. I felt terrible, seeing Hamilton like this. The same man that yelled at me in meeting, that had seemed unbreakable, was crying his eyes out on my couch.
"Alexander, what happened?" I asked, setting my mug on the coffee table and handing him his. He accepted it and nodded.
"I just... it's the storm". I almost laughed. A storm? I mean it's loud, but he's not one to be scared of loud things. He noted my silence and continued.

"My family died in a hurricane".
I gasped and covered my mouth with my free hand.
"When I was younger, I lived in the Caribbean. Then one day, the hurricane came, and devastation reign-". He paused. I realized that I had unconsciously set down my mug and engulfed him in a hug. I blushed and quickly brought my arms back to my sides.
"S-sorry" I said tensely. "I didn't reali-"
He cut me off by hugging me back and resting his head on my chest.
"It's ok. I can hear your heart beat".
I smiled and rested my chin on his head, breathing in the smell of his hair.
