Helena was handling the Base's Comms when she heard a voice in static and signals for Picard

Unkown: This...nder Kath...way...my fleet a...storm...medics...aed...

Picard: This is Commander Jean-Luc Picard, we could barely hear you and it's great to hear you after a long time.

Janeway: Thank...card...Its been...ime....we....

The radio was then cut off before Helena began to switch frequencies but failed to find the signal.

"Sorry Commander, I tried my best but the signal's gone." Helena apologizes.

"It's fine Helena and did we managed to record it to have it analyzed for any anomalies?" Picard asked.

"Yes Commander." Helena said as she took out the tape and hands it over to him.

Elsewhere:

"We've finally contacted our people outside the Mirror Sea, but there was static preventing us from listening to the person we've recently contacted." Janeway said to her senior officers.

"Tom and Harry took off on the Bermuda Flyer to search for any of our missing girls." One said.

"Thank you Chakotay," Janeway replied. "Lt. Carey how's the radar working?"

"It just started working but the only problem is that it'll help us get the extra minute to prepare for any Siren attacks." Carey replied.

"An extra minute to prepare is fine but try to increase the range to buy us a few extra minutes before combat." Janeway said to the engineer before turning her attention to the radio. "Lt. Cmndr. Torres continue to modify the radio to prevent static from interfering in future contacts to our people."

"Yes, Commander!" Both engineers said as Janeway dismissed her senior officers from the meeting.
