《Started but Never Finished》Misunderstood ch.3

I frowned at the game board as Kingston put his last piece in. We were playing connect 4 and I just lost for the fourth time.

"I don't wanna play anymore." I let all the pieces out. Kingston chuckled as he cleaned the game up. I got out my seat and walked over to Tokyo.

"Hey baby momma. How are you doing." I asked, rubbing her stomach.

"Uhm. Well I'm ready for this baby to come out already. If the doctor doesn't come in the next hour I will be performing my own birth." She spoke aggressively.

I stepped away not wanting to be apart of the pregnant lady's wrath. I sat back in my seat next to Kingston.

"I'm glad I will never be in this situation." I leaned back in my chair.

"You can't have kids or sum?" Kingston asked.

I looked at him hesitant to answer his question. We've been talking on the low the last couple of weeks. I don't think it will get too serious, so I'm treading lightly.

"I can have kids. Very fertile. I just don't want them." I shrugged.

"Why?" He asked.

People usually don't ask why. They usually tell me that I'll change my mind or that having your own child is a beautiful thing and I should want to do it because there's women who won't get the experience. I don't care about all of that though.

"Uh, I don't think I'd be a good mom so I'd rather not make a innocent being suffer the consequences of my actions." I said.

"Makes sense." He nodded.

That was part of the reason. I don't really want to explain my whole life to him when I don't even know if he's gonna stay around.
