《Sweet Child of Chaos》Amara Pierce

It was almost midday when Katherine slammed the door of her twin's room opened.
She wouldn't have cared to wake them up if she wasn't currently dying, but since universe was against her and her hair was mostly white than brown, she couldn't take it anymore and decided to go to Kisa.
She had the spell, but she needed to know how to perform it after all.
Opening the curtains, Katherine rolled her eyes when she heard the annoyed groans coming from the trio.
On the bed Kai cuddled Kisa who cuddled Amara in return. Since the house they had stayed had two bedrooms, one was claimed by Katherine while the other had to be shared by the trio.
But it didn't bother them that much, a bed was more than being in a cell in an asylum, more than a prison world, more than being turned into a stone while having multiple souls passing through you.
They weren't picky.
Katherine whined as she pulled on her twin's foot.
Kisa hissed as she stood up with a glare on her face, while Katherine grinned at her.
Amara rubbed her knuckles against her eyes, yawning softly as she too got up, murmuring a quiet
Kai continued dead on the bed.
Kisa mumbled as she started to pull on his hand, without using her vampire strength.
His body didn't move an inch.
Kisa whispered playfully, grinning when she saw the corner of his lips tilting upwards, only for him to give a strong tug on her hand that made her fly back to the bed.
Kai admitted, burying his face on the crook of her neck as he breathed softly, his arms wrapped tightly around her, scared that she would leave.
Kisa's face softened, stroking his head gently as she stayed there for a few more minutes with him.

Kai suddenly said as he shot up from the bed, making his best friend smile in amusement as he walked to the kitchen.
Katherine looked up from her plate and stared at the siphoner, a smirk pulling on her lips as she took in his body.
Kai said bluntly as he looked at her, immediately wrapping his hand around Kisa's wrist as he placed her in front of him, so that she was blocking her twin's view of him as he put a shirt on.
Katherine commented as she gave a taunting smile at her twin, who was staring with a serious expression at her.
Kisa answered, sitting at the head of the table as Kai sat on her right and Amara on her left
Her twin flinched, looking down as she felt Kisa's eyes still on her.
Amara told them softly, with a small smile, trying to defuse the tension
Kisa's mood suddenly turned 180, from her cold stare to a bright smile as she ruffled the original Petrova's hair, making Amara grin back at her with flushing cheeks.
Kisa told her with a reassuring smile, making Amara look down hesitantly, fidgeting for a moment.
Amara questioned shyly, looking between Kisa and Kai, who was busy eating his food.
the siphoner said with a shrug, looking at Kisa before he turned to Amara with a grin
Kisa hummed with a pensive look on her face, his idea could actually be used in the future.
Kisa finally said with a smirk, making the other brunette grin happily at the friends.
Katherine questioned in annoyance, looking at Amara from the corner of her eyes.
Kisa said calmly, leaning over the table with an inquisitive look when she saw the weird look on Katherine's face.
Amara and Kai looked curiously at the twins, seeing one extremely uncomfortable while the other seemed frozen.

Kisa leaned back with a deep sigh, closing her eyes before she looked back at Katherine.
Amara and Katherine jumped back as Kisa send the table flying towards the wall with a simple flick of her wrist.
Her jaw was clenched, hickory eyes glaring down at her twin sister, who was taking steps back, slowly, away from her.
Kisa hissed, walking closer to her twin who couldn't help but wish that she could make a hole out of the wall.
Kisa punched the place just beside Katherine's head, making the new human gasp, seeing her sister's fist passing through the cement as her face stopped beside hers.
Kisa hissed, taking a deep breath as she started to calm herself down
Leaving the house, Katherine continued petrified by the wall, Amara looking wide eyed at the giant hole where the table had flew to and where Kisa had left while Kai laughed, looking at Katherine.

Isoptera
Reincarnated, Crete finds himself not in some overpowered human body with the basic kill the demon lord cliche. No, he is reincarnated as a weak, powerless, and quite frankly worthless existence. Maybe his was a mistake, as he wasn't even reincarnated as a human but instead a humble and meek existence, A termite. Follow Crete as he adventures, without the memories of his previous life intact, in this New World, Honera. He trudges on endlessly with his indomitable willpower and journeys as a meek termite who is fraught with trials and tribulations; as he seeks for the power to just live in peace and without the prejudice everyone seems to have against his kind. Upload Schedule: M-W-F Hey guys this is my first attempt at a novel, based on the type of fiction I enjoy, it'll be mostly slow-paced at the start as I try to work out the kinks and learn more about "Isopterans". However, if y'all enjoy it leave a few nice reviews, or if you don't, leave some constructive criticism. Both would be appreciated. I also would be setting up a Patreon if any are interested in donating to help fund the story or you can send a donation through PayPal directly. Tower of Somnus
When humanity first encountered alien life, we were judged and found wanting. The Galactic Consensus interviewed our leaders and subjected us to a battery of psychological tests to determine our progress as a society. They found us to be selfish, wasteful, impulsive, and boorish neighbors. Earth was blockaded and our collective encounter with our extrasolar neighbors rapidly faded from memory. All they left behind was a hypercomm relay and a handful of subscriptions to a massively multiplayer game that participants played in their sleep. The Consensus said that it would let us interact with our neighbors in a controlled setting. That it would teach us to be better members of the galactic community. The megacorporations that controlled Earth ignored the game until they learned that the powers earned from clearing dungeons were just as real when day broke. Magic, supernatural abilities and rumors exploded from nothing and a subscription to The Tower of Somnus became a status symbol. Katherine ‘Kat’ Debs doesn’t have much, but it could be worse. Born in an arcology, she was assigned a job in the megacorporation that raised her almost as soon as she could work. Despite the stability of her corporate life, she wanted something more. A chance to claw her way up the rigid social and financial ladder to make something of herself. A chance that wouldn’t come naturally to someone as familiar with dark alleyways and the glint of steel as she was with office work and corporate niceties.Book One is up on Kindle Unlimited as of 7/6/22 - https://www.royalroad.com/amazon/B0B2X3L8H5
