"I like you too Y/n?"
"No Kate, i like you, like you!
"oh-"
Kate and i had been best friends since 1st grade. Me, herself and Simon were known as the amazing trio...well amazing junkies. Anyways- for the past few months, I started having different feelings towards Kate, all good ones though. I liked her. Not the typical, like as in friend...like as in THAT like.
But i knew that if i told her, i'd be put into the friendzone and our friendship would be awkward and fucked up, thats what i was afraid of. But i knew i had to tell someone at some point, the secret is eating me alive. So...i went to Simon, my other best friend.
"So, what did you wanna talk about?" He asked, moving his blonde hair away from his face. "Simon- i fucking like Kate!" I blurted out, immediately covering my face. He sat there in shock, then a small smirk formed on his face. "I KNEW IT! I COULD SENSE THE SEXUAL TENSION" "SIMON- JUST HELP ME TELL HER OKAY?!?"
He laughed and grabbed my shoulder gently. "Y/n, all you gotta do is go up to her...and say 'kate, I really like you' and boom- you have a girlfriend" i stared at him with an 'are you fucking with me' kinda face. "Just do it, you won't regret it" he reassured before walking to my living room to watch jaws. I rolled my eyes and this and called Kate, asking to meet up.
I was on my way to meet Y/n at the park, it was our favourite park that we always went too when we were growing up, it bought back so many memories. When i got there, i saw Y/n sitting on a bench by a nice green tree. "So L/n, why did you wanna see me" i asked with a gentle smile. For some reason, Y/n looked nervous, not only that but the smile she gave me, wasn't as...bright.

"Are you okay?" I asked in concern. I sat next to her, taking her hand as a form of comfort, like I'd always do when she seemed off. "I- umm..Kate i need to get something off my chest" she mumbled, i nodded and gestured her to go on. She took a deep breath before saying "I like you Kate"
I raised a brow and looked at her in confusion. "I like you too Y/n?" I replied and she huffed. "No Kate, i like you, like you!" Then it hit me...inside i felt butterflies, no doubt a blush formed on my face. "Oh" i said, a smile on my face as i stared into Y/n's eyes. I grabbed her cheeks and smashed my lips onto hers, immediately feeling her kiss back.
It was a special kiss, a kiss i've been wanting from this girl for god knows how long. When we pulled away, i rubbed my thumb on her cheek and said "thank god you confessed because I never had the fucking courage too" i joked which caused Y/n to laugh. "So are you my...girlfriend now?" She asked.
"Well duh, i love you"

Artifex
In a world where art has power and power is everything, Thando Nkhosi is an MMA fighter trying to stand out and be somebody. At least, as much as one can among 23 billion other people. Life is generally good under the [High King]. That is, until he and his friends are catapulted into the upper echelons of the Inner Planet Federation by being granted a power that may be a bit too much for them to handle, and given a task that seems impossible. Trying my hand at a hopefully unique LitRPG system. No stats or number crunching though. Kinda scifi, kinda fantasy but scifi elements only really become plot relevant after the first arc. Won't be doom and gloom but will get really dark at times. Updates twice a week at minimum (2-3k words), sometimes more when school decides to let me out of the pillory lol. Inspired by a writing prompt on reddit and WarHammer 40k orks.

NEVER SPLIT THE PARTY: The Adventures of The Creeping Bam (BOOK ONE: The Job)
TAO is a broken world held together with nothing but magic and the will of the gods who protect it and its people. Then thousand years ago THE SUNDERING struck and Tao was almost torn apart by a terrible magical cataclysm which resulted in the planet almost being halted in its journey through the cosmos. It took all the power the gods of Tao could muster to restore its orbit and set it turning again, but in their efforts it was forever changed – its axis was drastically altered, and it now spins in such a way that one face of the world is forever turned from the sun it orbits, leaving half the planet in perpetual darkness. The various humanoid races that survived and now thrive within the habitable parts of THE DAY LANDS have come to live in perpetual fear of what lives beyond THE BORDERLANDS that separate them from whatever dwells within THE NIGHT LANDS, but for ten millennia it has kept its secrets. The land of RUNDAO languishes under the rule of their warlike Northern neighbours, the TEKTEHRAN EMPIRE, while a small, ragtag band of motley adventurers ply their mercenary trade fighting monsters and protecting the common man from the various dangers that haunt the night and prowl the hinterlands on the edges of civilization. THE CREEPING BAM have amassed a modest reputation in their years together, but they’re still just a small-time party of sellswords, thieves, outcasts and mages. They’re also exactly the kind of underdogs the people of Tao doesn’t yet realise are needed to save the world from the encroaching darkness they doesn’t even know is coming … This is a love letter and homage to the high-fantasy worlds of the tabletop RPGs like Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder and Warhammer and the sword & sorcery cinema and literature I fell in love with as a kid growing up in the 80s, from Robert E. Howard’s Conan the Barbarian (and the awesome Schwarzenegger movie, STILL my favourite fantasy film EVER), The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit and Ron Howard and George Lucas’ Willow, to the more grown-up and edgy worlds of grimdark masters George RR Martin and (my all-time favourite) Joe Abercrombie, as well as a BIG DOLLOP of Terry Pratchett’s immortal Discworld series. IMPORTANT: This story contains material which some readers may consider to be mature, such as battle violence, some strong language and occasional mild sexual scenes. If this is not your kind of thing, this story is not for you. I am also serializing this story on Tumblr, Wattpad, Quotev and Sweek.
