I've always admired Kate Schmidt. She was the preppy, beautiful, cheerleader in our school. She says hi to me occasionally, we've never had a full conversation...until today.
My sister Heather was murdered last night- by her BEST FRIEND! Crazy right? Anyway, as i walked into school, everyone was staring at me, whispering things too. I got to my locker which was unfortunately, right next to my sisters. I sighed and suddenly felt a hand on my shoulder.
"Hey, I'm sorry about Heather" i turned to see Kate..i smiled slightly and shrugged a little. "It's alright, it wasn't your fault" she looked down a little. "But i still feel awful, Heather didn't deserve this" she explained with a small smile.
"She really didn't" I mumbled and she then looked at me, like she had a good idea. "HEY! Maybe why don't you come to the game with me later, we can sit together on the bus and yknow- get to know each other?" I looked at her in disbelief. "Uhh- umm..sure!" I said and she smiled brighter.
"Great! Oh- theres my friend Deena, i gotta go, see you later Watkins!" She smirked and pat my shoulder before walking off, holding her books in her arms. In all honesty, she looked adorable and so beautiful. I smiled as I watched her walk off. Tonight will be absolutely amazing!

Y/n walked onto the bus in her blue cheerleader outfit and automatically noticed Kate, she was sat in her seat, looking in a small mirror to sort out her hair. As soon as she noticed Y/n, she smiled and pat the seat next to her. "Y/N SIT!" She said, causing a smile to appear on Y/n's face.
She walked over and sat down next to the dark haired girl. "When did you start cheerleading?" Kate asked and Y/n replied "Start of the year" "REALLY?! How come i never saw you" Kate asked. "I didn't really talk much if im honest" they both chuckled a little.

After that night, the two became extremely close. Y/n met Simon and Deena. Kate started to like Y/n and Y/n started to like Kate. Everyone started to ship them. Every time Y/n and Kate sat next to each other, Simon would say "Whens the wedding?"
Causing both girls to be flustered and they'd stutter alot.
But 8 months into knowing each other, Y/n finally had the guts to ask Kate out. It was by a beautiful tree they had found in the woods, right near Sarah Fier's body. The two loved each other, and they'd never stop loving each other...
