I was wondering around the town before Mirabel rushed over to tell me that Camilo was sick. She said he refused to let anyone take care of him, so i decided to try instead. I knocked on his door and heard him yell 'I DONT NEED LOOKING AFTER!' which made me stifle a laugh.
Iwalk in anyway to see Camilo on his bed. He only had an oversized t-shirt on and he was very pale, his fingers were clutching onto his pillow for comfort. I sighed sadly at the state he's in. "Camilo, please let me take care of you, lovely" i whispered in his ear as i sat close to him.
He tried to sit up but groaned and flopped back down. "Want me to make you some soup? I'll run a warm bath for you while you wait then we can cuddle for the rest of the day" I suggested and he lightly shook his head. "I'll make you sick, Amor" he whispered, looking up at me with doe eyes
'He definitely got those eyes from his sister" I thought before smiling softly at him
"Don't worry about me, Cami. Now come on, i'll run you a nice warm bath and while you're in there, i'll make you some nice soup, okay?" He nodded and sniffed before letting out a small sneeze. "I hate being sickkk~" he whined like a baby. I laughed and helped him up. "Come on you big baby" he pouted at my teasing which made me laugh harder.

Camilo got in the bath, Julieta helped me make his soup. "This will make him feel a little better. His cold will still be there but it will bring the colour back to his face and if he's dizzy, it'll go away" she informed in her soothing voice, Pepa walked over and smiled at me. "Thank you for taking care of him"

"Its not a problem!" I smiled then turned back to Julieta and taking the hot bowl, holding a towel under it so it doesn't burn my hands. "Thank you so much Julieta!" I said, she smiled and went back to cooking while i headed to Camilo's room.
I opened the door to see him on his bed, his wet hair sticking slightly to his forehead and he was now in his yellow pyjamas. He rested against the headboard of his bed, sniffing occasionally. I smiled sympathetically before handing the soup to him. He looked at me in shock "you actually made it.."
I furrowed my brows. "Of course, Mi querido, why wouldn't i?" I asked, brushing one of his wet curls from his face. "I thought that..maybe you'd leave cause i'm hard work when i'm sick.." he looked down and i lifted his chin. "No, Mi querido, you're not hard work okay? I'm here until you feel better" he smile gratefully before eating his soup.
When he finished, he was extra smiley, Julieta's healing probably kicked in since he wasn't pale anymore. We continued cuddling and watching movies until Camilo had finally grew tired and had fallen asleep. Right in my arms.

By cold steel and elemental sorcery, they brought peace to a warring land on the brink of destruction. As the flames died, the realm needed strong leadership, and who better than the champions who had saved the kingdom? But when the people sought out their saviors... they vanished. Matt, Blake, Jen, and Carl: the four mysterious companions, who together had deposed an insane ruler and saved countless lives, were gone—spirited back in a whirlwind of magic to a sleepy suburb in Mellbridge, Oregon, never to return. The friends found themselves home in the real world, exactly as they'd been the night they were taken, as if no time had passed... except only three came back. Hi there! This was my entry for National Novel Writing Month, because why only write one series at a time? The more the merrier! (meanwhile, my keyboard bursts into flames...) I'm also the writer of The Last Science, an ongoing low-fantasy/speculative sci-fi series. If you're familiar with that, you know what to expect here: lots of character-focused drama and dialogue, not a whole lot of traditional action. However, I'm writing a bit differently than usual here, and in a very different structure, so there should be some surprises for returning readers. I hope you enjoy it! [Discord] — for those of you who want to hang out and chat. Cover art (fullsize): Path of Revelation, by taenaron (Tobias Roetsch), modified by Etzoli. Normally I like to do my own cover art from scratch, but I was in a rush for the contest. Might be replaced down the line if I get time. He's willing to train her, and Maya has grand plans of becoming a pirate captain. Maya is going to gather a crew, grow in strength, and carve her legacy into the world with blood. Requiem of the Sea is a vast seafaring story. The world is very large, and I enjoy trickling information in about it slowly as opposed to dumping it all at once. The story is updated once every two days. Thanks for reading!
