I can't keep doing this.
"F/N, won't you come here?" your contractee's voice said, his unappealing tone grating on your sensitive ears. "I'm afraid I need a bit of assistance..."
"Yes, master," you said, internally sighing as you walked towards his chambers. The same old demands. The same annoying, boring practices. The same damn face.
When you opened the door to C/N's chambers, it was, as you expected, to see the middle-aged male waiting, wearing nothing but his sheets. He gave you what you're sure he thought was a seductive look, beckoning you closer.
You put on your facade and pretended to be pleased as you undressed.
Dear Satan, how you wanted to brutally tear his soul to shreds and eat already.

When C/N was finally asleep, you sighed exhaustively, cracking your neck loudly before you took your clothes from the floor and slipped the garments onto your person.
"Pain in my ass," you muttered over your shoulder as you slunk out of the room, returning to the work he had interrupted. Work was a distraction from your frankly dismal contract. An irregularly shaped dust mote was the height of your excitement that day—yes, you were quite bored. Perhaps you should have hired other servants, but humans agitated you. It would be an understatement to say you despised them.
When you returned to C/N, having forgotten your duster, it was to discover a foreign presence in the room, and you stiffened at the sight of the tall male stooped over your master, muttering something beneath your hearing.
C/N screamed at the sight of the man, having woken up, and he wailed quite ungracefully for you to come quickly. The male glanced back at you, revealing eyes that gleamed like garnet in the darkness, his athletic form clothed in a butler's uniform. He sighed, ruffling his pretty raven black hair.
"What a bother," he muttered, now in the range of your hearing.
"I should be saying that to you," you softly growled, pacing around the demon. "To come after my prey is quite an offense." You quickly withdrew a knife and pressed it firmly to his pale neck. Your other hand was clawed over the center of his chest, ready to wound him badly. "Why shouldn't I just kill you now? Not only have you trespassed on my grounds, but you have attempted to steal from me. Not exactly getting on my good side, demon."
"Because," the man said, and in the next instant, you were flat on the floor, your knife still against the man's neck, though he was smirking as he hovered over you. "you can't kill me."
"Oh? Confident, are we?" you asked, one eyebrow raised as he stood liquidly, and you joined him, and in the next second, you were grasping each other's throats, both your eyes gleaming the supernatural glow that echoed from your home. You sneered. "Have you no shame? To steal another's meal..."

"I might have shared if you asked nicely," the male said with a curl of his lip, and you barked a laugh.
"I'm sorry; but I don't share meals with filthy dogs," you scorned, and the other demon's grip tightened on your throat. You returned it in equal, if not greater force. The other male seemed surprised. "You have the grip of a child."
"And you have the grip of a baby," the man riposted.
"Babies can have monstrous grips."
"Really? Had any?" You raised an eyebrow, stopping him before he could cleave your head from your body. "Hm, nice reaction," he praised grudgingly as you twisted his wrist and threw him on the floor, smashing his face to the floor.
"F/N, stop playing and kill him!" C/N screeched, obviously upset by the man.
"Yes, master," you said with a sigh, about to take the sword from off the wall and plunge it through the man's back when he threw you off him.
"Tell me something, F/N," the demon said, using the name he'd just heard. "Let's be honest; he's not anything special and certainly not special enough to smell of you so strongly."
"I beg your pardon?!" C/N asked incredulously.
"I propose a deal between us, F/N..." the man said, carelessly running his eyes across your form before running his hand up your neck to cup your cheek. You grabbed his wrist, glaring, but he wasn't the least bit fazed. "How about we do share him right now? I'm starving, and I'm sure you're very tired of serving him. Doesn't it sound like a win-win?"
You hesitated. It was an out to your boring contract. And despite the insult to your pride, it was tempting to accept.
"Don't listen to him! I am your master!" C/N shouted, a vein popping out on his neck. You tilted your head at the man.
"I have an additional term," you said. "If you can comply with it, then I will allow you to devour half of my master's soul." The man smirked, and you pulled down his head to murmur in his ear.
"Oh, happily, F/N," he replied.
"Don't call me by my first name," you said coldly before you walked over to your master, who cowered in his bed. You could smell urine. "Goodbye, C/N. It was unpleasant working under you, and thanks for the dissatisfactory meal."
You rent C/N's soul into pieces, relishing in his terrified screaming. His suffering was more sublime than the meal. The male demon shortly joined you after he was dead, taking the pieces of soul and devouring them eagerly. His soul was a taste like a badly aged wine, accompanied faintly by pasta carbonara.
"Shall we get started?" the man asked, his eyes glittering at you, and you pressed your finger against his lips, hard enough that you felt his teeth behind his mouth.

"Tell me your name, and you will speak when spoken to," you said, glaring at him. "Do not think I will so easily pardon you for attempting to steal from me."
"Currently, my name is Sebastian," the man replied, and you turned your back.
"And you will call me L/N. Follow me."
"I really don't have much ti—" Your eyes hit Sebastian's, and you opened his mouth before taking his tongue in your fingers.
"Would you like to keep your tongue, or do you wish to keep speaking?" you asked testily. Sebastian seemed surprised.
"Well I wish to do something better with it than talk," he replied, but before you could rip out his tongue, he grabbed hold of your wrist and pressed you into a wall. "And I do believe you don't have the strength to subjugate me, so for the sakes of both our lives, I'd suggest we agree not to fight each other over something so petty. The quarreling of two demons of equal strength will not end well..."
"Equal?" I snorted. "I'm the only one who has the ability to kill right now."
"If you have the ability, then I do as well, darling," Sebastian replied with a mocking smirk.
"Don't call me that!" I snarled.
"My, I think the second part of our bargain might be a bit rough... Speaking of which, I really must return to my master, as he is sure to have woken by now." You let your mouth twitch at a forming plot, one that Sebastian caught. "Afraid your revenge leads straight back home, L/N. I'm serving another demon." You raised an eyebrow. That kind of arrangement wasn't unheard of, although it generally occurred among the demonic nobility, particularly towards Satan. "It's a long story," the other demon replied to the look with a tired sigh. "But I would normally stick to my own contract if I wasn't starving to death."
"Demons don't starve."
"No, but I didn't eat for over 500 years."
"Not my problem. Stealing from me is something I do not forgive." Still, despite your words, you felt as if some of the ice in you had melted towards him. You were still so soft...
"Hm, I wonder if that makes you possessive or simply territorial...I envy your mate," Sebastian said with a grin, showing several of his white ivory teeth.
"What mate?" you asked, derision lacing your voice. "If I had one, I'd just stay home with him instead of going out into this godforsaken place." Then, realizing what you'd just said to a demon you'd just met, you folded your arms and stubbornly glared at him.
"Oh?" Sebastian asked, placing a hand to his chin, faintly smirking. "Really?"
"Fuck off," you growled.
"I'd much rather you said 'fuck me'," the demon replied with a sigh.
"Really? Even with your demon master calling for you?"
"You pique my interest," Sebastian replied. "I think some rules are meant to be broken for the sake of curiosity."
"Mm hm."
"Besides... where were you planning on leading me?" You tsked at your own inconsistency.
"A hole in the garden; you would be great fertilizer," you replied snarkily, escaping your position against the wall.
"I doubt that," Sebastian replied mischievously. "After all, why else would you make that part of the deal?" Stubbornly, you turned your back on him. Number one most avoidable mistake.
Without your realizing, you had been scooped up like a young human bride, and you hissed at the smirking face staring down at you. "Come now, this isn't so bad, is it?"
"Put me down," you seethed as he started walking.
"You tell me no, yet you don't try to kill me. You said you had the ability, as I recall," Sebastian teased. "I feel as if little miss cold shoulder doesn't hate me as much as she says she does."
"Shut up!" you retorted. "Don't you think your mate would be irritated to find you frolicking like an idiot?" Sebastian raised an eyebrow.
"What exactly about me makes you think I have one?"
"I don't know; your age?"
"Has it not occurred that I've been attempting to court you?"
"Yeah, you're doing a great job. You steal from me, I stop you, you make me share my food, and now you're trying to—" you were cut off by a passionate kiss from the male. It would be a lie to say that he wasn't good at it—maybe better than you.
"Might I reiterate that was your idea," Sebastian said with a smile as he broke away. "It must have been terribly dissatisfying..."
"You still tried to steal from me!" I retorted, and the demon started running for your room.
"Well, you'll have to let me make it up to you."
"You can't!" you spat. "I won't pardon you!"
"I beg to differ," Sebastian replied with a grin as he threw you onto your bed. "Because you're going to get all of that service you gave that fool returned to you by ten-fold."
"Yeah, r—" you were cut off by another passionate kiss, and you were overtaken by the new male. You soon found yourself entangled with the same passion in a lover's dance. Neither the bed nor the room lasted very long under your collective assaults.
When you had finally stopped by morning, you decided to forgive him after all.
Especially since he'd just made an incredibly boring day something rather exciting.
