"I swear Dylan I will rip your head from your neck if you don't shut the hell up"a voice snapped.

"Argh you're worst pregnant"another voice replied."alright alright jeez"

"When is she gonna wake up?"

I stir which interrupt what the other person from speaking.

"I think she's waking up"

"Shhh"

I slowly opened my eye lids, blinking few times to fix my gaze. Cole, Mi na, Dr Robin and Dylan all stood before me staring at me.

Mi na was biting her names whilst leaning on Cole. Cole had one arm wrapped around her shoulders pulling her to his side. His eyes covered pity, something I didn't need right now. I gazed at the other handsome man beside the doctor.

He is shorter than Cole but still was tall. Not as muscly as Cole but you could tell he worked out. His brown eyes pierced down at me. He furrowed his brows. Tilted his head, he looked like he wanted to say something but before he could mutter a word, Mi na spoke.

I ripped my gaze from Dylan to her.

"How are you feeling?"she asked, her voice was warm.

I could tell she was concerned. And honestly I didn't know how to feel about that. I guess it was...nice. I haven't had someone care about me enough to worry about me since my father passed.

"Not so good"I replied honestly.

I left heavy and numb. There was the piecing feeling on my spine that I couldn't shake.

I recalled what happened before I passed out. I touched my stomach before glancing back at the doctor.

"Am I really pregnant?"I asked.

My voice cracked at the end.

She nodded.

I didn't reply but looked down at my fingers.

"Did that bastard reject you after he slept with you?"Mi na gritted out.

I nodded. Ashamed to tell them that he didn't know it was me. That he was drunk and in fact I'm the bastard that took the advantage of him. Even though I had no idea he was intoxicated.

"Dick"Dylan muttered.

"Well this is your new home...sorry what's your name again?"Cole asked

"Charlotte but please call me Charlie"I spoke softly.

"Charlie"he nods. "You're free to go anything you want. I can't mark you to join the pack since you still have your old pack's mark but still this is your home until you want"

I wanted to thank him but before I could open my mouth Dylan spoke up.

"Wasn't your eyes brown?"

All four of them stared at my eyes. Tilting there head. It made me feel uncomfortable so I shifted in my seat.

"My eyes are brown"I spoke up.

"Not now they aren't"Dylan says.

Mi na gasped "OMG! Her eyes were brown"

They were all staring at me making me feel really awkward and self conscious.

"Guys..?"

"Wow. Your eyes are really blue. Like it's sooo...wow"Dylan says almost to himself.

Mi na agreed by nodding.

Dr Robin and Cole were just silently staring at me.

I started feeling really hot. It was bearable at first but it was getting hotter and hotter. Slowly, it felt like my insides were burning.

Crack!

They all gasped and moved back. Cole pushed Mi na behind me. I looked at my hands, my veins were dark, almost popping out of my skin. My skin was red.

"What the fuck!"

Pain. The cracking sound made me feel uneasy. I didn't know what it was. I'm praying it wasn't my bones. Although it could be, maybe that would explain all the horrible pains I'm getting. I wanted to throw up but there wasn't nothing in my stomach to come out.

Crack!

I cried out of frustration but mostly pain. Why the hell was I still feeling this unpleasant ass crap pain still? I didn't deserve this. I was a good person. I was, wasn't I? I felt like it was going on for hours. I could feel the sweat dripping down my face.

It wasn't until I started shaking violently that Dylan and Cole grabbed each of my side and pinned me down.

"What the hell is this?"I heard Dylan shout.

"She's shifting"someone replied again.

I'm finally shifting. I would be over the moon but I'm busy wishing I was dead at this moment. I would do anything to stop this. I wanted to shift so bad but this pain isn't worth it.

My child! Isn't this going to harm my child? Few minutes ago I didn't even know I was pregnant and now I just wanted my child to be alright.

"I know! But why is it causing her so much pain. Plus it doesn't take over one hour for her to shi-OW. Charlotte!"

I growled at him when I just wanted to apologise for hurting him but there was no words coming out.

"It's her first shift"Dr Robin spoke.

"Wait? She's 16? I thought she said she found her mate. She has to be at least 18"

"I think she's a late shifter. It's rare but it does happen"

"I think you all need to shut up and help me"I cried out.

"I like her Cole!"Mi na says.

"Please please make sure my baby is okay"I begged through my cries.

"It's okay darling. Breathe. Inhale, exhale"dr Robin says.

I do what she tells me to do but it wasn't helping at all. I started to shake and I had no control over my body. Cole and Dylan couldn't pin me down anymore so they let me go and moved away from me.

Crack!

Slowly, the pain was easing. I was grateful for it. The machines that were attached to me where no longer attached. I slowly got up on all four.

I looked down at my paws. My white paws then moved my gaze back at the other people in the room.

There eyes widened and they all looked shocked. If I wasn't so shocked my self, I would have laughed at their faces.

"Wow"they all said at the same time.

That was the last thing I heard before falling into darkness.

"Not being rude or anything but the only thing Charlie has done since I met her was faint. When is it appropriate to start laughing?"

"Dylan damn it"

"What?"

I opened my eyes slowly hearing the voices in the room.

"Oh she's awake!"Mi na says with an excitement.

"Calm down love. Give her some space. She just woke up"

"Sorry"Mi na says quietly giving me a sheepish smile.

"It's okay"I say well tried to say but my throat was dry.

Cole must have read my mind because he handed me a glass of water. I gave me a small smile and mouthed thank you. He just nodded and stepped back to wrap him arm around his wife again.

"Okay I cannot hold it in anymore!"Mi na says overly excited.

"You're an ACE wolf!"she screams giggling.

She turns to her husband"babe, can you believe that we are literally in the presence of a Ace wolf. The legendary wolf. I thought it was a myth all this time but it's not because Charlie is one and is sitting right in front of me"she rambles on.

"Ace wolf?"I asked confused.

I never heard about this legendary wolf. Maybe is because I never finished wolf school since my lovely brother pulled me out.

"Yes you're like the strongest wolf to exist! This is SO EXCITING"Mi na says almost jumping with excitement.

"Calm down babe"Cole says not trying to hide his amusement.

Ace wolf? The strongest wolf to existed? Wait? I finally shifted?

A voice says startling me. I looked at everyone in the room to see if anyone spoke but no one did.

"Did you guys hear that?"I whisper, too shock yo speak any louder.

"Hear what?"Dylan asks.

-I'm your wolf Charlotte Jones. So good to finally meet you. By the way no one can hear me-

"It's just her wolf"the doctor spoke knowingly.

"HOLY SHIT. This is so exciting. Isn't it exciting babe"Mi na says jumping.

"Woman give it a rest now"Dylan mutters which earned him a glare for Mi na and Cole.

"You must be so tired and confused. You finally shifted Charlie and your wolf is so beautiful. White and snow. Huge, truly stunning"Mi na says softly with tearing eyes.

"I think it's time for your nap now"Cole says to his wife.

"B-but..I don't want to leave her in this time of need"

"I think your giving her headache with your overwhelming excitement"Dylan mumbles quietly but everyone heard him.

"Dylan pregnant or not. I'm gonna kick you butt"she says making me giggle.

Surprised at the sound I made, everyone's eyes were on me. Mi na gave me a smile.

"You must be so tired. We will let you rest but I will come back later to check on you"she says.

I thanked her. I had a feeling that we were going to get along very well. Everyone said their goodbyes before leaving me with my thoughts and my wolf.

I finally shifted and I just wanted to go and tell Amy about it but I knew I couldn't. I wanted to call her to let her know I am alright but I knew if I did, my brother was going to drag me back.

I can't stand being the weak. I can't stand being bullied by the pack members. I can't stand a minute more of my brother hating me when all I am doing is protecting him. I can't stand being in the same pack as my mate who rejected me after sleeping with me.

I touched my stomach and found comfort. I am not going to feel alone anymore. I have she or he. I found myself smiling. The night with Calvin is not something I could ever forget. I really wanted to hate him. For rejecting me. For making me truly feel worthless but I couldn't because he gave me something which makes me hopeful for the future.

I'm never going back to that pack. I am going to stay here until my child is old enough and I'm going to find a good home for us to leave.

It saddens me that my child is never gonna know their father and I know I should tell Calvin about it. But he rejected me without a thought, why would I put my child through rejection.

We will be fine. Maybe I would find a good human to settle down with. I don't need protection for any man. Comfort and to loved, yes. But I know I am powerful enough to take down anyone who tries to hurt me. I can feel the power.

Truth to be told, I am scared shitless but I need courage with this new power.

I am tired of being the weak wolf. I have shifted. Finally.
