Alya notices that Adrien and Marinette not getting involved in the conversation as they seem focused on something else. Alya nudges Nino to see if he knows what going on. Nino looked at Adrien and Marinette's blank faces as they poke around their fries that they have not eaten since ordering. Nino looked back at Alya and noded. She hinted that he should break the tension between Adrien and Marinette to talks
Nino winked as he understood, "hey what with you two? You guys have not said a word this whole time?"
Alya facepalms while mumbling to herself, "I'm dating an idiot."
"Hey!" Nino looks back at her scolding before continuing, " But seriously though what with you two?"
"Nothing we're fine! Happy as can be!" Marinette answered as she looked at Adrien who smiled back.
"Yeah, we're just tired." Adrien backs up Marinette and laced his finger through Marinette's to prove it.
"Oh okay. See Alya nothing wrong." Nino pointed out to Alya as her hand was still stuck to her palm.

"Then how come you two have not contradicted me this whole conversation about finding out Ladybug and Chat noir identities." Alya debated as she was showing her Lady Blog.
"Were too tired to argue Alya," Marinette answered, "I.. I was working on some designs all night."
"And Nathalie had me going all over the city yesterday," Adrien added, "But I'm interested."
"But.." Alya was cut off by her boyfriend.
"Let them be Alya," Nino scolded as Alya glared back at him.
Marinette sighed when Adrien said the last sentence as she thought about how he mentioned that he was interested. "I really should get home."
Adrien looked at her with a confused expression. "Do you want me to walk you home?" Adrien comments as Alya and Nino started to text each other angrily.
"Yeah, let's go, " Marinette smiled as she got up from her seat.
They said goodbye to their friends as they were still arguing through text and left out of the cafe. They walked alongside each other in silence. Both of them were lost in their thoughts. Marinette couldn't handle how weird he been acting and what happened at the cafe
"Adrien, what going on?" Marinette said out loud without realizing she was supposed to say that in her head.
"Oh... Uh... Nothing." he answers as he turned away but he knew he was hurting her for keeping secrets, " I mean don't worry."
"Is it something I did?" Marinette asked even though she knew the answer.
"Of course not Mari!" he stops in his trail and held both of her hands. "You can never do anything wrong."
That what you think she thought.
"I just have a lot of my mind. I have been missing my mother that's it," He gave a reassuring smile, "What about you?" Adrien asked as he wanted to know what she was thinking.

"Adrien I need to.." she was cut off as they heard some commotion on the streets.
They looked around to see if there is an akuma attack or transformation but it was just a couple arguing. It was a girl getting upset. She seems to promise two guys a date on the same night. She had to decide one but they continue to argue. Adrien and Marinette walked away from the commotion to avoid any issues.
"God, I hate deception!" Adrien sighed as they both continue walking as they already arrive at Marinette's home. He recalled when Felix took over his identity and how he tricked his friends. As well as many occasions when Chloe or Lila caused issues in the classroom. Marinette saw his angry expression and rethink her decision to tell him. "What were you going to tell me?" Adrien asked as he remembers Mari was going to tell him something.
"Oh it was nothing, but that hopefully everything will work out with them." she gave a simple smile.
"Alright." he leans to give a quick peck on Marinette's lips as they were at the bakery doorway, "Thanks for being the best Mari. I love you."
"I love you too Adrien." They said their goodbyes and as soon as he enters the car she went inside. She went straight to hr room and flops to the top of her bed to lay down face forward. Tikki flew out of the purse.
"Mari, what happened? I thought you were going to tell him." Tikki asked.
"How can I tell him Tikki. You saw how he reacted to that couple we passed, he hated it. He hates deception and he going to hate me if I tell him." Marinette groans.
"But Mari you don't know that." she pleaded to reassure Marinette that everything was going to be alright.
"Maybe but I don't want to take that chance." she muffled in her pillow.
"What about Ladybug?" Tikki asked as technically she had a say too.
