Twillight stared at the door. Why was he crying? She turned to Shining Armor but he shared the confuse gaze. Scootaloo ran up the stairs.
" Hey Twilight! O-oh your brother is here haha... So uh...Was Spike there?"
The alicorn nodded," He was, and now he's crying...All I did was tell him that Shining Armor thought you and him could be a cute couple..."
The young filly gasped," Y-you told him that!?"
Twilight nodded, still clearly confused about what was wrong with her sentence. Scootaloo rushed over to the door.
"SPIKE! SHE DIDN'T KNOW!"
The sobs only got louder. Scootaloo sighed. She would have to do it.
"I'm sorry, Spike... Twilight, the reason he acted that way is... that he doesn't love me, he loves somepony else... He loves Shining Armor! AND I LOVE SWEETIE BELLE!"
There was a long scilence. The stallion stared at the filly like she was pulling a joke. Twilight's eyes were wide and so was her mouth. The silence was broken when the dragon screamed out.
