《Buffy and Spike》5- Mum?

I stood in an empty room, everything white: the walls and the floor. A chair appeared in the middle of the room, but it wasn't white. It was red. I felt a pull and my feet were being forced to the chair, I tried to stop it but the force was stronger and took over. I went with the flow and sat down in the chair.

A person appeared in the distance and walked closer to me, I tried to stand up so I could try to defend myself or in worst case scenario run away, but the force was holding me into the chair. I struggled, thrashing my arms against the chair desperate to get out of here, desperately wanting to be in Spike's arms. I tried to scream but nothing but hot air blew out of my mouth, I slapped my hands over my mouth in shock and buried my head into my knees. The person was getting closer I could hear their footsteps, I remembered the stake in my pocket, the person may not be a vampire but a weapon is a weapon. I reached into my pocket but was shocked to find I wasn't in the clothes I had on before. I wore a long white flowy dress, and white shoes that matched. Heaven, I'm in heaven I thought.

'Hello dear' the women in front of me said, I didn't dare raise my head I didn't want to look at anything.

'Thought I would have gotten a better response. It's been a while Buffy'

I jerked my head up at the sound of my name, the voice I should have known! How could I have not have known!?

'Mum!?' I yelled

'Shhh dear, don't be loud.' she whispered, a red chair appeared next to mine and she sat down.

She was wearing the same clothes as me and it all made sense.

'Mum we're in heaven aren't we?' I asked quietly afraid for the answer

'Well to be honest' she looked at me with her kind eyes smiling a little 'We are.'

All the air in my body vanished, I felt like someone turned on a vacuum and was sucking everything out of my body, ready for a new life. Well okay. No, I'm not ready.

'Darling let me finish and explain' mother said, I looked up at her and nodded.

'We are technically in heaven, but I am a permanent resident, you are not. You are in the waiting area and you have to make a choice.'

'A choice? About my life I'm guessing?' I replied

'Yes, you can either admit defeat and came and stay with me, or you can stand up out of this chair and wake up and fight' she explained

'Why are you here though?' I asked

'Because I'm your family, families are allowed to visit the waiting area if family is in it. I'm here to help you make the right choice.' she replied

'Okay. Why are the chairs red?' I questioned

'Darling I cannot answer all these questions, first of all there isn't enough time and second everything you are seeing right now and imaging is all in your head' she said

'What?' I asked

'Buffy wake up' mother told me

'How? Am I asleep?' I asked

'Ugh!' she moaned and stood up, walked right in front of me and placed her hands on my arms. She pulled me forward easily off the chair.

'Like this!' she said

'Now wake up!' she snapped her fingers in my face.

The world dark around my eyes but I felt my head resting on something soft. The smell of my lounge filled my nose and I flung my eyes open. I saw my friends sitting around the coffee table: researching, but what they didn't know was I had done all the research. I know something is coming and I know we have to fight.
