Chapter 32: The End
*6 Years Later*
"Mommy!! When will my baby sister be here?" My five year old boy Graham asked.
"You have to wait for another 2 months." I answered.
"But I want to meet her now!!"
"Son you can't rush things. Patience is always the best thing to have." I told him ruffling his hair.
"Yes it is, Mrs. Lashly." My husband said kissing my cheek as he just got back home from his day job as a firefighter.
"Son if you're mom didn't have any patience with me, then we would never have had you. You know what how about you sit down and I'll tell you the story about how i fell in love with your mother and carved our initials in the tree across the street in the park. The story should teach you just how important patience is." Lash said sitting next to me on the couch and pulling Graham onto his lap.
Soon our little girl Sky was born. As the kids grew up we found out their powers. Pyro Kinesis for Graham and Sky was just like her father and could stretch. Graham looked just like his dad and Sky just like me. We are a family of superheroes and also a normal happy family.
Jake R. Lashly is a firefighter by day and the hero Lash when called, wife is Mary S. Lashly is a detective by day and the hero Star when called and the kids go to regular elementary and middle school but will go to Sky High just like we did long ago. Oh and we also have another little one on the way. This is where our journey ends but our kids journey begins.
