Chapter 10: To Love or To Hate

Sure enough I look up to see Lash standing infront of me. He was looking at me with thoose deep beautiful brown eyes of his.

"Uh...yeah...I tend to get those a lot with the twins."

"I bet." he said laughing.

I laughed then looked down to hide my blushing cheeks.

"You're so cute when you blush." he whispered into my ear.

"Lash stop." I said softly back to him.

"It's true...just wanted you to know that."

"Thanks."

"Your welcome!" he said winking at me before walking over to his desk.

I tried to restrain myself from looking over at Lash but I failed. Then the note started it was like old times.

"Hey!"

"Hi."

"So are you still mad at me?"

"A little."

"A little?"

"Yeah."

"Why?"

"Because you're still bullying and being a jerk to people. That's why."

"Mary we talked about that...I'm sorry for making you upset but i have no choice here. I promise I'll explain it all to you...but later. If I do it now we will both get seriously hurt and never get to see each other again."

"How much later? And what do you mean seriously hurt and never get to see each other?"

"I can't explain...later...when I know it's safe to talk about it."

"Lash you're not making any sense!"

"I know. I'm sorry. Please trust me on this."

"I'm not sure if I can...I want to but I'm just not sure."

"Please Mary!"

"I'll try but no quarenntees."

"That's enough for me..can I come over tonight?"

"My dad still hates you so that wouldn't be a good idea."

"Good point..Can I see you tonight at all?"

"I don't know."

"I could do like last night."

"No that's ok. lol :)"

"So can I see you?"

"Maybe...depends on if my parents made plans...I'll text you."

"Perfect!...Just Like You! :D I Love You Mary!"

I was trying to fiqure out what to write back and if I should tell him the truth about my feelings, when the bell rang and saved me. I got my stuff and hurried out. I rushed to my locker to try and put some distance between me and Lash. I expected him to wrap his arms around me and stop me but he never did and I made it to my locker to find Ashley waitng.

"Wheres Amy?" I asked her.

"Right here!" I heared behind me.

"Wheres L.A.S.H?" Amy spelled out.

"Really? You're gonna spell it out?" Ashley said slapping her sisters arm.

"What? Everybody know that they still love each other!" she said rubbing her arm.

"Amy!" Ashley and I said together.

"What!? It's true!"

"Ugh...can we just leave...please!" I said closing my locker and heading to the front of the school.

"Star! Star! I'm sorry!" Amy said following me.

"Just forget it!" I yelled back.

Luckly we made it outside without running into Lash. I still had to text him an answer later tonight. My heart wants to say yes but my head and gut is saying no. All I have is dinner with my family to decided. I know that's not long enough for me to make a decision. But I know that if I don't decided then he will and he'll do like last time and come through my window. I was lucky enough to head home by myself after the twins dropped me off, which meant that it would just be me and my family.

Now to make a decision without my dad finding out and killing Lash.
