《Dazai x reader - sleeping beauty》Part 1

Note: I gave the reader a name, I just couldn't help myself ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ tell me if you don't like it and maybe I'll change things around, but for now, I hope you like what you see~
Your jaw dramatically fell to your chest as a winding web of black wisps approached you from the foot of an unfamiliar man. This figure, swallowed by the shadowy night, spoke to you. "You don't have a place to sleep, do you?" the wandering silhouette-like figures swirling around his person drew closer. "You have an ability I'm sure the port mafia would find extremely useful." The creatures surrounding him stormed at you causing you to back into a solid brick wall. This allowed you to go no further. Fear began to devour you whole. "Don't worry, I won't hurt you." With his raspy voice, he slammed a foot forward and bent his chest to his knee triggering his silhouette demons to charge at you erratically. You mustered all your might and lifted your finger towards the advancing monster. As the two made contact, the black creature disappeared leaving behind nothing but a burst of breathtaking blue light. "Excellent." The man sporting a black cloak said as his demons died down. "Turns out your not the only one... Dazai." Where the only words he could muster before he fell face first to the ground unconscious.
"...turns out your not the only one Dazai" (what could it mean?!) you pondered closing your eyes tightly. It was early the next morning and you found yourself caged behind bars with a chain fastened around your ankle. This wasn't a situation that was new to you... you knew things, terrible things, were destined to occur soon enough. A distant echo indicated the tapping of feet across the concrete flooring. With this, your eyes widened as images of distant memories played in your mind. You began preparing yourself wanting the process to end as quickly as possible. You unzipped your pants slowly and shakily then removed them in the same manner. "What the hell!?" A short red head said approaching your sell. You looked over at him with a blank expression- your face long drained of any emotion. He began to speak with a tone that reflected his furious red hair, "Ya know if you needed to go-" you interrupted him, "get it over with... Please just do what you want and go." "Hell woman! Put your pants back on!" He exclaimed covering his eyes with a light blush surfacing upon his cheeks. You wondered what was going on as you nervously slipped your pants back on. "Come on." He opened the door and unchained your ankle. You hunched your back and held tight to your shoulders nervously. He led you down the hall and upstairs into a nicer part of the building. You both arrived at a pair of large doors, they were wide open allowing you to enter slowly. A familiar face awaited you in the room. The black and white haired young man turned in your direction with his hand over his mouth. "Welcome to the Port Mafia. My name is Akutagawa" He greeted with the scruffy voice of his. You wanted out of there. By no means where you up to playing games along side the most feared organization in all of Yokohama. "If your willing to cooperate, a check of 140,000,000¥ will yours as your willing to work with us." Your eyes widened at the price they labeled upon you. (140,000,000¥?!) there was no way! "Why?" You questioned still having more to be answered, "why me?!" "You are capable of using an ability that's valuable to us." His eyes where now burning an empty whole into yours. You thought about the reward, then considered a second chance at life with this new responsibility. "Where do we begin...?" You responded deciding it was now time to let go.

Azarinth Healer
A new world with nearly unlimited possibilities. A status, classes, magic and monsters. Sounds good? Well, for Ilea it didn't come quite as expected as for some other protagonists, nor was there a king or god to welcome her. The grand quest? Well, she might figure that out someday but for now, a new world with new food is prize enough. Her fists at the ready, she's prepared to punch and get punched, however long it takes and however many limbs she might have to regrow. A story I've started writing now quite a while ago. Transported to another world, somewhat standard fantasy setting with my beginner attempts to make it dark but funny. There are Litrpg elements here but I do hope it's not too heavy and annoying. The fights should be interesting and aren't just numbers vs numbers. Contrary to the title the protagonist will be quite an offensive fighter. Ilea Spears is your average sarcastic kick-boxing fast food worker and soon to be student. She will be transported to another world rather conventionally and will be confronted with survival in the wild. Give it a shot and let me know what you think. My experience is incredibly lacking. If you find yourself hating it early on, do convey your anger in a detailed comment or review :) I want to get better but without any feedback it's simply quite difficult. Quick heads up: Around chapter 120 there are a bunch of longer PoV changes that I discontinued again shortly after. The Arc around chapters 150-200 is darker than the rest and the themes shift quite a bit. Just know that it goes back to what you've come to know after that section. Thank you for reading. Quick update June 2019: Many complaints regarding the formatting, specifically spacing in conversations and of course the usage of the present tense in the first 36 chapters have been addressed. I'm of course learning by the day but compared to how it was before it should be an improvement at least. Chapters usually around 3k words Cover art by Kevin Catalan

Project G00
|Nanopunk |Crafting | Detailed Science and experiments | Inner thoughts | Bio-Robots | Evolution | Infodumps | Tell not Show | Insane to Sane | Slow and Detailed Pace | Puddle to Unknown | Artificial Intelligence | Trans-humanism | Bad Jokes | Moving 'Dungeon' Core | Hi! I am G00. I am a project made by some weirdo. Some may refer to me as the wobbly thing in the fridge or the slimy thing in the ceiling. Others might tell you about that sticky thing inside your nose. In the end, they called me the Seed of Life, yet didn’t tell me what I was supposed to become. Furthermore, it just happens that this stage was the most miserable place to reincarnate... Reincarnate as in… What the hell did I become?! (Whispers) You are a puddle. A puddle? (Whispers) Yes. C’mon little guy, say your lines! You’re live right now! Welcome to puddle-springs aka the afterlife of a puddle. CUT! Eh? Why?! No edition or photoshop needed?! We’re short on puddle-staff. The camera is broken, I am broken, and you are broken. Wait! How can a puddle be broken? You are not a puddle, you are frozen yogurt. NOOOOOOOOOO! Additional summary: Spoiler: Spoiler Humanity has finally made the second step towards space. Many developments were taking place at the time this happened. All of them accomplished thanks to nanotechnology. Inventions regarding Artificial Intelligence and nanorobotics created the opportunity, a way to terraform planets by sending nanorobots to space. Their orders? Colonizing and preparing the new worlds before humanity's arrival, aka terraforming. Meet G00, a weird agglomeration of nanomachines. A bit stupid, but it's not because he was like that. The little guy... 'He' is really broken. The hardest start of a story is when language is oddly misunderstood, when you know nothing of the place you just arrived; when your companion is a buggy system, and when you have to repair yourself with whatever trash you can scavenge from your surroundings. All of this while you fight your worst enemy: potatoes? What will you do in an unfamiliar circumstance where nothing is what it seems and where you won't even understand the boring ramblings of a confused main character? Well, patience will... probably have a reward? Additional tags and disclaimers: Read before starting the story: Harem: Not included for the moment, depends on characters added, votes by readers, and things that happen on the go. Magic: Far away chapters maybe... as part of high level or non-understandable things by science. Slice of life: Probably some parts will include it. Disclaimer #1: Crazy amount of content about high-tech info-dumps, slow pace, starts with biology and nanotechnology. Might have some weird jokes and puns. Game bugs are also possible. Disclaimer #2: No puddles were harmed during the making of this story. No character is real, no real puddle was used as part of the cast. Character is stupid at the start on purpose but he will get beta and beta. All written content follows a logical approach no matter how stupid it appears to be, maybe… Because it’s just a raccoon splashing some cotton-candy over a puddle after it was thrown. Yup, a bully raccoon with rabies or so it seems.
