The next day Maverick and Iceman were at the beach with the boys. Maverick watched the boys play football with each other as she tanned with Charlie and a few of the other girls. Iceman turned spinning the tip of the football on his index finger winking at Maverick.

"Girl, he's really into you." Charlie told Maverick.

"You have no idea." Maverick said smirking back at Iceman and watched them play another game of football in the wet sand as people passed them by. She put her towel out on the sand and laid on her back putting her aviators on.

"Okay guys, take two for me. I'll step in on the next round." Iceman said looking over at Maverick laying out in the sun by herself, in her bikini, her 11 line abs showing.

"Party pooper!!!" Shouted Slider and Flamethrower.

"Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!!" Iceman said rolling his eyes as he jogged over to Maverick, "Hey you."

"Hey." Maverick said smiling over at Iceman, "Enjoy your football game??"

"Definitely." Iceman said and kissed Maverick flush on the lips, wrapping one arm around her waist, "Would've been better with you though."

Maverick chuckled sitting up, propped up on her elbows as Iceman was propped up on his elbows talking to Maverick.

"Those two are really in love, aren't they?" Charlie told one of the girls that came with her.

"They are." She said, "But it's cute though. Just look at them."

Maverick made a silly face and Iceman laughed with her. They really did seem like they were really in love with each other. Iceman poked Maverick in the stomach and she squealed playfully.

"Ice!" Maverick squealed when he did it again. She got up and he did too.

"Oh no you don't!" Iceman said playfully and ran after Maverick as she ran across the beach laughing at Iceman getting closer to her.

"I'm going to catch you Brett."

"No you won't!" Maverick said and squealed playfully as he tried to get her. Maverick went ahead a little more but then Iceman finally got her. Her wrapped his arms around her and spun her. Maverick looked down at Iceman with a loving smile and they kissed again.

"I love you." Maverick said.

"I love you more Babiegirl." Iceman said. He let her down and playfully pinched her.

"Hey!" Maverick said and giggled as he poked her in the side as they walked back. The boys split up playing with the frisbee and some tossed the football around. Maverick laid back down tanning and Iceman joined her, an arm around Mavericks waist.

After a little bit, the boys managed to get the girls to play chicken with them. Maverick climbed up onto Iceman's shoulders.

"You good Mav?" He asked.

"I'm super." Maverick said.

"Here we go!" Iceman said walking into the ocean and then Pete Mitchell managed to get Charlie to join in too. Iceman chuckled as Maverick squealed as a wave got them both damp, but they managed not to lose their sunglasses.

"On three ladies!" Ghostrider and Iceman said. Charlie and Maverick held hands as the boys counted to three.

"Three!!!" Shouted Ghostrider and Iceman.

Maverick started splashing Charlie really hard and she did the same, Maverick squealing. Iceman shook his head as they moved towards Charlie, soaking her and Ghostrider. Once Charlie fell off or Maverick did, then the next two would play against the one that was left standing.

Maverick nearly fell off but she didn't, hearing the boys cheer for her as she got rougher with her splashing. After a few more splashing, Charlie fell off Ghostrider's shoulders.

"I'm next!" Shouted a girl named Charlotte. It was Hollywoods new girl. One of the girls in charge of the mess hall.

"C'mon Char!!" Maverick said when Hollywood waited on Charlotte as she ran up to him and jumped up. Hollywood walked all the way till it was up to his chest, just like Iceman.

"One.." Said Hollywood.

"Two.." Said Iceman.

"Three!!!" The boys shouted.

Charlotte and Maverick both soaked each other and kept going. Maverick splashed even harder as Iceman chuckled, getting some salt water in his mouth. Charlotte's splashing got even more violent, to the point they had to make sure they weren't splashing anyone else on accident. Maverick kept splashing when Charlotte fell in.

"Yes!!!" Maverick exclaimed fist pumping the air.

Maverick woke up, hair stringy and still drying from being dunked by Iceman after she won playing chicken with the girls. She heard Iceman and Flamethrower in the living room. Maverick got up in one of Iceman's large oversized t-shirts, barefoot as she walked quietly to the doorway.

"What are you going to do if superior finds out Iceman?" Flamethrower asked.

Maverick leaned against the doorframe waiting for Iceman's answer.

"One of us will stay and the other will do something else probably." Iceman said, "I don't want her getting in trouble because of me Flame."

"I know man." Flamethrower said, "It's just getting real serious and kinda getting obvious. I'd hate for her to get kicked out of Top Gun."

"I know man. We'll figure something out." Iceman said, "I wouldn't do anything to hurt her."

Maverick smiled and went to the bathroom brushing her hair out again to help it dry more. She squeegeed it and then went to the living room.

"Everything ok Tom?" Maverick asked.

"Hey Sweetie." Iceman said smiling, "Enjoy your nap?"

"Yeah." Maverick said with a smile, leaning and kissing Iceman, "You boys don't have too much fun ok? I'm going back to bed to nap more."

Maverick went back to their bedroom and she laid back down on her side of Iceman's bed putting in earbuds playing some soft music as she went to sleep.

Maverick woke up a little later in the evening, it was six.

"Hey, you sleep ok?" Iceman asked sitting beside her.

"I slept great. And my hairs dry." Maverick said.

"Wanna go out and do something?" Iceman asked Maverick.

"Sure." Maverick said.

"Well get dressed then silly." Iceman told her with a chuckle. He put on his khakis and she got into a cute summer dress that was a deep icy blue color an she did her eyeliner with wings, pulling her hair back.

"Ready?"

"Yep." Maverick said.

"Alright." Iceman said. He picked up his keys to the hangar and Maverick noticed that.

"You could get kicked out of top gun for this you know?" Maverick said catching on to what he was doing.

"They have to find out first." Iceman said as they walked out the front door and he locked it. Maverick chuckled and looked up seeing Iceman smirking. Iceman and Maverick walked in silence together to the Tomcats hangar watching all the people around them. Maverick let go of Icemans hand as he went through the parachute area with her behind him. She pushed up the garage like door of the hangar and ran over the Jet getting in with Icemans help.

"You better bring that back before the morning!!" Shouted the night watchman.

Iceman nodded and started up the Jet after the canopy came down over them. Maverick was in the cockpit behind Iceman and she found a way to turn on the radar. They weren't going to fly too high so they didn't have to worry about the oxygen mask. Iceman finally got them in the air and he did an over under move without warning Maverick.

"Don't do that!" She exclaimed excitedly.

"You mean this?" Iceman said and did it again.

Maverick laughed that time and then Iceman made the Jet stall, a trick he learned a while back. Then he flipped over the Jet flying inverted for a little bit then he flipped it right side up again. Iceman then circled around and eventually landed the jet. Maverick hopped out after the canopy came up and she waited on Iceman.

"You were supposed to have that back before one!!!" Shouted the night watchman as Iceman pulled Maverick to the parachute hangar behind him.

"C'mon!" Iceman whispered. Maverick followed him into the sea of silk parachutes hanging from the ceiling.
