Roman was laying in his bed while watching some Disney movies on his big TV as Patton came into the room looking pretty sad and tired and just stressed. "Hey Pat... what's wrong?" Roman asked as he was worried for his taller and more excitable boyfriend.

Patton climbed into the bed and immediately pulled Roman to his chest "sleepy" he answered softly and tiredly as Roman looked up at him with a small frown on his face. "You forgot to take off your glasses sweetheart" Roman said and Patton shushes him and then lazily takes off his glasses and places them on the wooden night stand beside the bed on his side.

"There, now I didn't forget to take them off" Patton mumbled and then buried his face into the hair of his lover that he loved very much. Roman was worried for his boyfriend as he felt him fall asleep. He then started to worry for Patton wondering what happened and who did what to make him like this. He also swore he would murder the one who made Patton feel like this.

Soon he felt himself start to fall asleep as well as the TV turned off and that meant it was dark in the room as he started to get scared as he held onto Patton tighter as he saw the time and noticed that it was three o'clock making him more scared as he was in the dark and it was the devils hour so he didn't know what could be waiting to eat him or something.

Sure he always acted tough and fearless, but the truth was he was weak and afraid of literally anything for example, the dark. And he absolutely hated the fact that he was scared of everything and could only beat that dragon witch that one episode because she was already almost dead in the first place so she didn't really fight back or stop Roman.

Roman was lulled to sleep by Patton as he woke up and started to play with his hair a tiny little bit and soon after Roman fell asleep Patton did once again as well.

When they woke up the next morning around 7 Patton looked down at Roman and pushed his bangs out of his lovers face and then kissed his forehead causing Roman to wake up a little bit as he looked up at Patton with tired eyes.

"Good morning baby" Patton said softly with a tiny little smile on his face. "Morning" Roman replied seeing his smile and that caused him to smile as well but only a little one appeared on his face as he held Patton tighter. "hey you know you're gonna have to let me go, I have work today." Patton kissed his forehead again hoping he would loosen his grip a little bit but he didn't, Roman only tightened it some more.

"N-no..." Roman mumbled softly "call in sick" he looked up at Patton with small pleading eyes as he just wanted to cuddle his boyfriend some more or maybe just like all day, he wouldn't mind that.

Patton seemed to think of the idea before he slowly nodded his head a little and picked up his phone and started to act sick as he learned some things from Roman. Roman watched him proud that he was doing what he had taught him. Patton convinced his boss that he was sick and then placed his phone down and looked at Roman and kissed his head again.

"Can you tell me what's wrong baby?" Patton asked Roman and he tilted his head a tiny bit "what do you mean?" He asked softly and Patton sighed "last night, I know you didn't fall asleep till 3:30 when I started to play with your hair and that eventually led you to fall asleep." Patton grabbed his glasses and looked down at him as he frowned.

"I was just worried for you" Roman answered softly and leaned up and kissed Pattons cheek. Patton frowned a tiny bit more"you stayed up that late worrying for me?" Patton asked and Roman nodded his head a tiny little bit. "Y-yeah you were acting sad and you looked stressed" he answered softly and Patton hummed a tiny bit. "It was nothing really, I saw a dead bird and it made me sad and then I got all tired because I ran away, and then I was stressed because of..." he trailed off confusing Roman

"Because of?" Roman asked and Patton turned a dark red color. "Maybe later" he said softly referring to the fact that he had actually gotten Roman a ring to purpose to him with but he wasn't going to tell him about it, that'll ruin the surprise. "O-okay then" Roman nodded his head a little bit, frowning that Patton wouldn't tell him.

Patton leaned down and kissed Roman and Roman calmed down and immediately kissed him back as soon as their lips touched. Patton and Roman both smiled into the kiss happily and then pulled away at the same time and then just cuddled each other as they were feeling happy.

~time skip~

~three months later~

~Roman's POV~

'Patton has been really secretive lately and he has been hanging around virgil a lot more the usual and it has made me feel really insecure. Like what is so important that he doesn't want to tell me. But I know he's not cheating on me. H-he's not.. right? I mean he has been hanging around other people more' I asked myself in my head as i started to get super nervous. "I have got to stop hanging around him as much.." I asked out loud thinking that him was Virgil and Virgil looked over at me though I hadn't a clue he was looking at me "w-wait what if it's with him!?" I asked myself out loud and glanced at Virgil and then ran out feeling sick and I felt tears welling up in my eyes.

Virgil got worried as he followed me to the bathroom. I ran into it and then looked at him and then shut the door into his face and locked the door and started to cry. Virgil banged on the door "Roman!?" He asked loudly

"I-I-I'm t-taking a-a-a sh-shower" I called even though that was a lie and Janus appeared near Virgil outside the door and I had no clue till I heard him talking to me. "That was a lie Roman" Janus called through the door and I shook "g-go away! B-b-both of y-you!" I yelled getting frustrated as my hands started to shake and I turned on the facet and placed my hands under the cold running water.

Janus sighed "I'm so 'not' going to go grab Patton I 'doubt' he can help" Janus said and then not even five seconds later he summoned Patton but made him be summoned in the bath room so he's not sure if he actually got summoned in the bath room because maybe he was doing some thing else and it didn't allow him to be summoned. I looked up Patton and then continued to cry. "N-no" I shook my head not wanting him here, I didn't want him to see me cry, it's embarrassing and humiliating.

The tears ran down my face as Patton gasped and tackled me in a hug, but sense he was taller and more muscular then me, he was kinda crushing me as I didn't hug him back. "Wh-whats wrong baby?" He asked and sat up and brought me onto his lap and I shook my head "I'-im f-fine" I mumbled "that's a lie again Roman" Janus called and I got more frustrated "g-go away!" I yelled again and gripped onto my hair tightly while still crying. Patton frowned deeply and took my hands into his.

"Baby please tell me what's wrong!" Patton exclaimed and I only shook my head and started to cry even harder, tears running down my face quickly and I knew I was probably uglier then usual..

Patton cupped my cheeks and pressed his forehead onto mine and just let me cry. But to be honest it was comforting to know he was there and not with Virgil who I despised at this moment for what I think he has been doing with my boyfriend.

"Wh-why?!" I cried out and that confused Patton. "Why what Ro?" He asked staying calm but looking like he was about to start crying at any given moment as well.

"Wh-why are you cheating on me!? Am I not good enough!? D-did I-I do something wrong!? I'm s-sorry if I did! I-I d-didn't mean wh-what ever I-i did! I know I-I'm a b-bad boyfriend and I'm sorry! B-but I'm r-really trying! A-and why HIM!? I thought h-he was l-like a s-son to you!?" I exclaimed getting super frustrated by the end of all of that. Patton paused for a good second as he knew instantly who 'him' is

"I-is that what you think? You think I-I'm cheating on you!? I would never! He is really like a son to me! I-I love you far to much to ever ch-cheat on you! Why would you think I am?! A-and besides you are not a bad b-boyfriend! Yo-you're the best boyfriend any one c-c-could ever ask for and I don't even know why you ch-chose me to be your b-boyfriend any ways.. but I am r-really gl-glad you did" Patton fumbled with his words a little bit as he started to cry as well.

"You've b-been hanging around virgil a lot for the last three months! S-sure I've hung a-around him! B-but l-like only for movie t-t-time! I-I never hang around him as much a-as you hang around h-him!" I hugged myself and Patton hugged me and we stayed like that for a little while trying to calm down a tiny bit.

"Well I-I want to show you something tonight, you me tonight in the imagination, I'll show you what we have been working on, I'll show you I haven't been cheating on you, I have not even thought of kissing another man, the only man I ever think of kissing is you." Patton said calmly and then pecked me on the cheek and that calmed me down some more as I nodded my head a tiny little bit.

"Wh-when is tonight? Like wh-when th-the sun se-set c-comes or l-li-like t-twelve?" I asked my taller boyfriend with a few stutters trying to calm myself down as I didn't want to keep crying in front of him no more and he stopped crying a little while ago now. "Like when sun sets" Patton said and kissed away my tears gently and I leaned into his touch a tiny little bit as I nodded my head.

"Why don't you wear that cute little dress you've been wanting to wear?" Patton asked and I got all embarrassed. "You know a-about that?" I asked and he chuckled and nodded his head a little bit "yes I know about it, I saw you put it in the closet the other day looking excited" Patton kissed my nose and I blushed a tiny bit and then giggled "okay then!" I smiled and then got up and Patton stood up as well and kissed both of my cheeks and then I left to go get ready for the night. I passed Virgil and Janus as they were watching and sipping on some coffee or tea, I don't know nor do I care really, so I then stuck my tongue out at the two males and then went to my room.

I went to my little area for me to get all dolled up like a little desk but for make up and hair stuff. I curled my mostly red hair a tiny bit, but not so it was super curly, just like a small little wave. I then grabbed my make up box and then I opened it with a small little smile as I did my make up, i did it the best to my ability. I added some wings with the eye liner and used some yellow/ gold eye shadow and then I decided to go with some kinda red lip stick. I then looked at the closet for the dress and I started to rethink my decisions of wearing it, like what if he doesn't like it, I well it's Patton, I'm sure he will like it.. well I hope he will like it.. I shook that thought away and then looked out the window to see the sun was getting ready to set.

I quickly sunk down and to the entrance of the imagination and then walked through the door and looked around seeing nothing as I started to walk forward and the sun kept setting and I got more and more confused when I didn't see Patton, thoughts rushing though my head wondering where he is, like maybe he's just behind the tree. Once the sun set I felt a cold breeze pass by and I shivered but, I saw a small light illuminating not to far away, either I went in a circle or that's where Patton was. Either one Id be grateful for.

I walked closer and closer as I heard some slow and pretty songs playing softly as I then saw a figure in the middle of all of it as I push through the tree branches and saw Patton. A small gasp escaped my mouth as I looked around at the lights and slowly walked over to Patton. "Y-y-you did th-this for m-me?" I asked in awe and that was why I was stuttering there. Patton cupped my cheeks and pulled me into a sweet kiss and I immediately kissed him back once I felt our lips touch.

We kissed for a little while "you look really hot right now Roman" Patton cooed into my ear and I felt embarrassed "but you look hotter" I replied anyways and he turned a soft pink color as well and he booped my nose causing me to scrunch it up with a small giggle. Patton then gently interlaced our fingers and then gently pulled me to a table full of foods I enjoyed to eat. I raised an eye brow as I saw a food I hadn't eaten in a few years being there.

Patton never let go of my hand as we sat across from each other and I never let go of his hand either. Patton gently lifted my hand from across the table and kissed it and then he let go and I brought my hand to my lap embarrassed.

"Okay I have made a bunch of food for this night and I know you like them all sooo" he trailed off and kinda just looked at all the food as I did too. "When'd you make all of it? Did you like make them or conjure them?" I asked Patton and then put some food onto my plate as he did the same thing.

Patton then told me how he made them and put them in a place they would stay warm and fresh and he has been making the food for a little while. I nodded my head and then started to eat as I listened to him talk about it. The conversation then went to like trees and flowers as I said that the area was really pretty and he told me about how he found this place randomly when he was taking a walk looking for an area to do this.

"You coulda earned a guy that it was this far away" I rolled my eyes a little bit and he only chuckled nervously "sorry, I've walked it so much I didn't think it was that far, but now that I actually do think of it, I can definitely say this is a far ways away from the entrance." Patton nodded his head a little bit.

I made sure not to spill any of my food on myself as I really liked the outfit and I did not want to look ugly for Patton. I gotta look my best, well, I guess the best I can look, which is meh, many many people are hotter then me, like Patton and everyone else. I'm like hotter then one person in the entire world. Who? I don't know to be honest. Like you may be thinking 'you have the same face as everyone-' but no- that is false, I have a few beauty marks on my face that no one else does. And Virgil, under his make up, he has freckles, just like Patton. And there is many more things different, including the colors of our eyes. Any ways back to reality.

Patton asked me questions about random stuff as we then finished eating and then when I felt full I pushed the plate aside as I did not want to eat any more food at the moment. Patton gently grabbed hold of my hand and then intertwined our fingers as he was done eating as well and his plate was also pushed away from him.

Patton stood up and then started to walk in a direction as he grabbed a button on his outfit and then pressed it, I was obviously confused on what it was and why he did it, but I asked no questions as I didn't exactly feel like asking questions at the moment, I was really happy and I didn't want to ruin it by not understanding even more then I do because if he started to explain stuff I probably woundn't understand after a little while because I can not focus on like any thing most of the time, but some times I can.

We then walked through some trees and bushes and went to this other really well lit area and it was some how more beautiful then the other area which was really saying something too. I was to in awe as I didn't see nor feel Patton leave me only to go a few steps infront of me.

I then looked over and I saw him get down on one knee and grab something from a pocket. I felt tears forming in the corner of my eyes. "Roman, I have loved you for a really long time now, and when you said yes to me asking you out I honestly was freaking out really bad, but in a good way" he said and I was squealing under my breath and that slowly got louder as time went by and he kept talking. "And then our first kiss, it was awesome, I dreamt of that moment for years, I'm not even joking you, okay I'll get to it, Roman Creativity Sanders, will you make me the most happiest man on the world and marry me?" Patton asked with a sunning smile and the tears escaped my eyes and I jumped at him and kissed him, nodding my head aggressively "yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes yes" I said quickly and he chuckled and kissed me again as he sat up a tiny bit and gently lifted my hand and slid the ring onto my finger.

I looked at the ring and leaned onto Patton with a large grin on my face. Patton held me close and we stayed like that for a good while until I heard clapping and that startled me as I see everyone else come out of the bushes and they all congratulated us. I giggled a tiny bit and said 'thank you' s and 'thanks' to them and Patton did the same thing as I did.

Later that night we all watched a movie to celebrate the engagement and of course, it was Disney, chosen by yours truly.
