*****Iris****
Roman looked up and shook his head as tears flowed down his face. Iris stroked his burned cheek and smiled. He had a scar running from the bottom of his eye to his chin.
"He thinks you killed me, doesn't he?" Roman asked. Iris smirked.
"Of course he does, and he's agreed to leave anxiety behind and come back with us." She laughed. "Oh you poor thing, you look so hurt." Roman flinched at her touch. "I love that you aren't afraid of a mans touch, but when a women offer herself to you, you are absolutely scared shitless."
"That's not why-." Iris touched romans brand marks and he flinched away again.
"You let him be all over you, yet you won't even let me have fun! I have tried several times to have my way with you...you coward." She leaned forward and pulled his face to her own. "This time, you won't be able to struggle." Roman shook his head as she dragged him over to the bed.
"N-No you can't!" Tears flowed down his face. Pathetic. She chained his wrist to the headboard and ripped open his shirt.
"Oh I'm going to enjoy this."
***Remus***
"ROMAN!?" he ran through the burning trees coughing as smoke filled his lungs and blurred his vision. He looked forward and saw chains attached to the tree and ran towards it. "R-Roman?" He looked around and saw no sign of him. But this was definitely where the fire had started. Suddenly the smoke got thicker and Remus coughed as he fell to his knees gagging. He felt tears in his eyes. He is the bad guy, and doesn't deserve a happy ending so if he is gonna die here he might as well just let it happen right? He coughed again as he fell to his back. He looked up at the sky, as it filled with embers and smoke. "I'm sorry for everything...." he mumbled as his eyes drifted closed.

***Virgil***
"Remus?" Virgil walked through the smoke as he coughed. The fire finally died down but he hasn't seen Roman or Remus since they took Logan...might as well search right? "Dude I cant drive sooo you need to bring us home where the fuck-." Virgil paused seeing a lump on the ground, covered in ash. He walked over and sighed when he saw it was Remus. "No time for a nap wake up!" Virgil bit his lip. Should he just leave Remus there? If he's dead...that could be a good thing...he would leave them alone. But also if he's dead, that means no way home except walking? Ugh. Virgil kicked Remuss arm. "Wake upppppp." Remus didn't move. Virgil bit his lip and sat down leaning in listening for a heartbeat. When he didn't hear one he pulled away and stared shocked. Remus was dead. He backed away. Fucking hell he wanted the guy dead yeah, but what the fuck?!
"Virgil?" Virgil looked up and saw Patton and Janus. He ran over to them and hugged Patton shakily.
"My god I'm so glad to see you!" He started to cry. "R-Romans g-gone! T-they took dad! And Remus is..." virgil looked over at Remus and Patton nodded walking over and sighed.
"Alright, I hate the guy...but..." Patton started giving him mouth to mouth.
"Dad stop, he isn't worth it." Janus grumbled. Suddenly Remus gasped and gulped in air. Patton backed away and looked over at Janus and Virgil.
"Yeah I know Jan, but sometimes we can't just leave someone to die...even if they deserve it." Patton stood and folded his arms across his chest. Remus sat up slowly and looked at the three of them.
"You...you really should have just left me." Remus pulled his knees to his chest. "I couldn't save him..." Remus started crying. "I-I think he was tied to that tree and they set him on fire.." Virgil walked over to the chains and looked back at Patton.

"I...he might be right look at the tree..." there was scorch marks all over the place but the tree had a black Mark burned into it where it looks like a person once stood. "They...they killed Roman." Patton started crying as he held a crying Janus. Virgil looked over at Remus who was looking sadly at the tree.
"I'm sorry Ro..." Remus bit his lip and looked away. "If I could trade places with him I would..." Remus looked over at Patton and Janus. "I'm really sorry."
"What...what happened here?" Janus asked. Virgil looked at the tree and then back at Remus.
"This idiot, ran into fire to try and save Roman..." Virgil gestured at the burnt trees all around them. "Clearly we fucked up somewhere."
"Where's Logan?" Patton asked. Virgil looked down at his feet.
"They took him..." Patton walked over and pulled Virgil into a hug.
"Don't worry, we brought back up this time. We'll save him." Patton looked at Remus. "As-."
"Yeah, yeah. I know." Remus shook his head. "Don't worry, I was going to turn myself in anyways. I kind of died before I could..." Virgil laughed.
"He's got a point Patt." Virgil grabbed januss hand. "Let's go get my dad back." Patton nodded and they all ran towards the cabin. Patton signaled someone and suddenly sirens started blaring all around them. Virgil smiled and looked at Patton. They were definitely going to get away this time.

8 120A Man and His Greatsword
Michael Adkins is a unique 28-year-old man. Born with above average strength and emerald green eyes, he always wanted to live in a fantasy world. He was very much into fantasy light novels, manga, and anime, especially a certain one that involves a black armored man with a large greatsword. Michael always dreamed of going on an adventure in a fantasy world. On a whim, Michael is summoned by the god of Alorah, one of the fantasy worlds he had always read about! Alorah's God, Eden, gives Michael a choice of three bonuses and a custom class to take with him into Alorah. This is the start of Michael's fantasy adventures. P.S. This is my first novel, I'm writing this since there were little novels I've found with a main character that wields a greatsword. Don't expect anything good. There will be a lot of mistakes, so please help me with that! P.P.S The later chapters will (hopefully) be much less cringy than the early ones. Please give it a shot!

8 186Body Modifier: Energy Required
Aria ate a fish. [Energy: 2] Finished, he ate another fish. [Energy: 2] ... [Energy: 3] Without realizing it, he had finished 5 fishes. He felt a little bloat, he lay down with a full stomach, occasionally burped. Even though he didn't want to be a big lump of meatball, he still had to keep eating. At least until he found another way to accumulate energy. After all, if he didn't take advantage of his advantages, wasn't that stupid? His mind then drifted imagining which one he would use the energy for. Should he use it on his eyes, so it shot a beam of laser, like a certain bespectacled mutant? Should he use it on his bones, so it regenerated infinitely, like a certain character from an anime? Should he use it on his brain, so he became a genius, like a scientist with a bald head? Or should he use it on his vital organ, so that he became the manliest person in the world? While he was imagining things, suddenly his ears felt pinched. "Ouch!" "Didn't mom already say you can't play with fire, you brat?!" There he realized, knowing that no matter what he chose, he was still a child in front of his mother.
