《TNS Piper's Problems》Chapter 9: Let's forgive her

Piper's POV:
"Guys, I'm really sorry- please!" She yelled out, as everyone glared at her and walked out of studio A.
I walked out too but turned around at the sound of her sobbing. "Lily?" I called out to her as I kneeled in front of her.
"Piper, I'm sorry, I'm so so sorry. I just- I didn't want my mum to get angry at me. I didn't want to lie and get you and Amy into trouble. Please don't hate me!" She shouted, trying to justify herself, as she cried.
"It's alright. Don't cry, I forgive you and I know Amy and A troupe will too." I said, rubbing her shoulders to get her to stop crying. Once she calmed down, she tried again to justify what she did and I hushed her.
"Listen, it's not your fault. But your mum, yeah she needs help for her anger issues. What she did was really wrong, you should try and talk to her, but I still forgive you." I responded as she hugged me.
Now the difficult part- getting A troupe to forgive her. I told her to stay in studio A as I left to go and talk to the others.
"Hey guys." I said cheerfully, taking a seat at the table, next to Finn and Jacquie, at Shakes and Ladders.
"Don't worry, Piper and Amy, we won't let Angela and 'the shadow' do anything to you guys again." Jacquie said, giving me a side hug, as everyone agreed profusely.
"That was so cruel, how is she still here?" Kingston said angrily as everyone agreed, yet again. "Um guys." I said, as everyone talked over me, insulting Lily and her mother. I could tell that if I didn't handle this now, it was going to get out of hand.

"Lily's a witch, a snitch and a little bit-" Richelle started, as the rest of them already started to laugh.
"GUYS!" I yelled, not letting Richelle finish her sentence, as they all looked at me, expectantly. "Um... well... I think that we should forgive Lily." I said, mumbling towards the end but they all already heard me.
"What?!" They yelled earning confused and irritated looks from others and a particularly dirty look from Steve, the barista.
"Piper, she can't be trusted." Amy said softly as Noah placed a hand on my shoulder. "Amy's right. Why do you want to forgive her?" He asked, gently.
"I... I just feel like that's the right thing to do. I mean, it's not her fault, it's her mum that's pushing her to act the way that she does." I explained, nervous to see their reactions.
"She's right, Lily was never like that when we were younger. Right, Summer, Kenzie?" Finn said, backing me up, as I smiled gratefully at him. Summer and Kenzie agreed, a little reluctantly, as the rest of A troupe thought it all over.
"Maybe we could give her another chance? What do you think, guys?" Noah asked, as Amy slowly nodded. "I guess we can, but it doesn't mean that we trust her." She replied as I beamed at her and she returned the smile.
Everyone agreed to forgive Lily... well, except Jacquie and Richelle, who were unusually quiet. "Richelle, Jacquie? What about you guys?" I asked hopefully, as they looked at me, then at each other then back at me before sighing, heavily.
"Alright, fineee!" Jacquie said, slumping in her seat as I smiled happily. "Okay, okay. We forgive her!" Richelle shouted as I stood up, beamed and clapped my hands.

"Great, now let's go and tell her the good news!" I said as all of them gave me pointed looks. I folded my arms and glared at each and every one of them. They all sighed and got up as I smiled and led the way to studio A.
Lily was still there, quietly crying into her knees as we all entered and sat in front of her. She looked up, shocked, and wiped her tears. "They have something to say to you." I said to her softly.
"Yeah, we all forgive you, Lily." Noah said kindly, as everyone followed suit and told her that they forgived her. Amy and Finn laughed at me as I clapped my hands in satisfaction.

When I got home from a long rehearsal, in which, Miss Angela was not screaming at me for once, Ethan threw open the door and dragged me inside.
"We've been waiting for you for ages. Make dinner." He said, expecting me to comply, but I had had enough. "No." I replied simply, putting my shoes on the shoe rack.
"I said, make dinner. Now." He repeated ominously. "Yeah and I said no. Do it yourself, I'm not your maid." I said, rolling my eyes as he took a step closer to me.
He clenched his fist, took a deep breath before smirking at me. "Whatever. You have to go to the basement and get the paper towels, anyways." He said, as I gulped.
Our basement was tiny, cramped and dark and as a kid, I had nightmares from this basement. I sighed and walked down to the basement, sprinting in and grabbing a box of paper towels.
As I turned around, the door clicked and locked. "Ethan! This isn't funny! Open this damn door!" I shouted, as I dropped the tissues and banged on the door.
I turned back around and slid down the door, as I tried to take deep breaths to calm down in this cramped up space. Hours later, okay, 15 minutes later, Ethan opened the door and rolled his eyes.
"Ugh, get out. You're no fun- I thought you'd be crying by now." He responded, irritated, as I rolled my eyes. Seriously? It makes his day when I start crying?! That's sickening- all of them are.
I sighed to myself and eventually decided to skip dinner. I hate Ethan. I hate Daniel and I hate my dad. I hate all of them.
I sat on my bed and cried silently, as I wondered what it would be like to have a loving family. Sadly, I'll never have that; I'm probably going to end up alone.
I just have to hang on tight and remember that some people do love me. I'm not alone, even though that's how I feel.
With that, I fell asleep, not knowing the troubles I would face the very next day. The troubles that would cause me to finally snap.

Just Some Guy
Available in Paperback and Kindle Look, I used to be just some guy… But then I made some changes… My job was like jail, now time and space cannot even contain me. When this whole thing started, well let’s skip ahead. The start of the story isn’t nearly as interesting as where I ended up. It all started with a dead body and an explosion… But what you really need to know is that, I used to be a loser, then I got jacked and went on my own adventure… After the explosion I took off west, expecting, well what does it matter what I was expecting? What I found was an epic adventure! Who would have thought that could happen to a former loser like me? I became a criminal, a musician, traveled through time, battled beings that shouldn’t exist and took part in a high stakes tournament. But that’s not the half of it! My editor says this blurb thing should be around 200 hundred words, but why don’t you just go ahead and buy the book to get the full story? “God does not play dice with the universe.” -Einstein (Sort of) “However, it’s entirely possible he’s using Me as his personal sitcom.” -Some Guy
